These guys were great! Ryan is a young, knowledgeable professional who was able to take a look at a couple issues with my car and provide some quick information and options to move forward.
I have used Meineke for a few years. I was surprised when the tech told me my oil change would be double the cost than what I have been paying. I have been getting a synthetic blend and this location put in 7 quarts of full synthetic oil. So I was just a bit confused
Price was reasonable for an older BMW X3. They had issues obtaining the sensor that went with my brake system so it slowed them down for half a day. But they did a good job communicating with me about what was going on and overall experience was very professional.
This place was great! They were very informative and helpful. The guys helped me with a problem I was having in a 24 hour period. I will definitely use them again.
Great service ...i thought i had a nail or screw in my tire and it was not . The leak was at the bead of the tire because the rim had some rust on it. They broke it all down and ground out all the rest and reseated the tire. All for $ 35....that is a deal.
Do not bring your vehicle here for any reason. This is not an honest shop and their "manager" doesn't seem to understand what being a decent person is. They quoted a customer $X for a **comfort related** (not mechanical or safety related) repair on their car even though the car is only worth at most $X. Any honest shop with anyone that has a conscience working there would tell the customer that it's probably not a good idea to spend the money on this unnecessary comfort repair and it would be better to put the money toward a new car instead. Bring your car somewhere else (Bruce's in Hanover for example) that actually looks out for their customers instead of only caring about making money. It's really not that hard to be a decent human being.
The "manager" also doesn't know what directional tread is on tires and rotated my tires incorrectly so now they are all rotating opposite the tread direction.
This shop has lost my business permanently.
I called and Chris was able to get me right in for service. They did everything I needed and a few things they asked me to check they were honest and said they were fine and didn't need to be replaced. I will definitely be returning.
The manager who signed me in was very pleasant and efficient. The oil change took exactly as long as he predicted, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. This location has earned a new customer.
Made an appointment to bring my car in for an air conditioner recharge. The AC was working, but it did not seem to cool the vehicle down as it had previously. The process of diagnosis and recharge lasted 4 hours, at which time the technician came out to say that the air conditioner would not hold a charge, and the AC was inoperable, and the cost for diagnosis would be $595.00. He went on to say that there was nothing more they could do, and I would need to bring the car in to the manufacturer for repair.
I have nothing but good things to say about bringing my car here! Being new to the area, I took a chance and brought my car there to get my muffler. Ryan & Christina were helpful, honest & knowledgeable. It was a good experience, they were great to do business with. I would definitely recommend you bring your car here for any repairs you may need. I’m so glad to have found a place I can trust with my car repairs . Thank you again, you have a new customer!!
Great staff. Incredible introductory price on oil change and also took care of a flat tire for me. The free inspection that came free with the oil change included pictures and was quite accurate and informative based on prior information I have received for the same ailments. Highly recommended.
my wife was charged $300 to recharge her A/C, left the shop and noticed it was still not working. we took it to another shop and the next mechanic told us it had not been recharged and we were scammed out of $300. i spoke to the manager Ryan and he lied and refused to fix our issue or refund our money, so we are forced to lose valuable time reporting this to the BBB and the state of MA as well as our bank to receive a resolution to our problem. what a shame, STAY AWAY from this place as they take advantage of people they think aren’t knowledgeable about their vehicle.
Went for oil change and tire rotation as I was sitting looking through the window my car was up in the air the whole time. I never saw really anyone working on it. So as I was leaving the store the mechanic brought my car out and I said did you rotate my tires and he said with a 4 wheel drive you don't need it We'll I said last year they were done and he said that wasn't needed. I called store and they said to come back that I needed my tires rotated. Which to me is very inconvenient for me as I sat there for 1 hour waiting for my car to be done and I was charged 90 but I had a 10 coupon so 80 was the balance. I feel I should have a total refund for this inconvenience also I really feel he didn't do a oil change or filter I just have a gut feeling. I'm very disappointed
People were very nice. The crew go to work on my car immediately on both days. They showed me what was wrong and told me how they proposed to resolve it. They had to get parts so I had to come back a second day. They fixed the problem and the car works fine now!
I had an excellent experience at my local Meineke in Hanover, Ma. The Manager/Tech, Ryan, was amazing to accomodate me on a busy Saturday afternoon. Very good communication w Me also. His Sister (Ashley i believe was her name) came in on her day off, to help out since they were so short staffed. She, too, was duper accomodating n helpful. I will go back and have told people already how good they were.
Absolute great service and team! Every detail was explained to me, before any work was done. You won't find this type of service and customer commitment anywhere else! As a business owner, I trust them to keep my vehicles safely on the road!
I had a terrible experience at Meineke with the owner mechanic Chris and Ryan at 785 Washington St Hanover- Meineke Car Center. After an accident that damaged my engine, I brought my car in for repairs. Not only did they overcharge me, but they also tacked on a maintenance fee that I never requested. When I asked them to lift up my car to check the engine, they wouldnt even comply and just used the plug in diagnostic wand to charge me for a diagnostic when they couldn't even find the problem.
The service was awful and untrustworthy. I feel like I was taken advantage of and would not recommend this place to anyone, very inexperienced mechanics that just graduated from mechanic school and one is still a student. My car parts should only cost 20 to replace which I didn't ask for and the previous mechanic at the shop next door said they do that often especially at this Meineke to rack up the fees. 0/5 starts do not recommend
I had a very positive experience at Meineke in Hanover earlier this week. I got a flat tire in the front late last week, with the other front tire ready to go at any moment. Town Fair and Sullivan Tire didn’t have available appointments until August 16th-called Meineke Monday morning asking if they sell and replace tires, they said they could, they would just have to get the tires…brought it in at 12:30, they were able to get tires from Town Fair, installed them, checked my alignment, I asked for an oil change which they did, topped off everything, I had my car back by 4:30pm!
Tried to get an oil change with wheel rotation. After an hour I say my vehicle taken out for a ride so I went into the office. They were unable to find my wheel key (bright orange labeled bag in my glovebox) but didn't feel the need to call and ask to do the wheel rotation or check the brakes like I asked. Luckily they had done the oil change so I simply left at that point. Meineke has an app/link that's supposed to update you on the status, after the initial update no further updates or results were provided and the service is technically still open to this day. Way better and faster places to go. This location will not last long once the grand opening coupons expire.
Needed a quick oil change before a trip. Called and the shop in Hanover was able to squeeze me in right away. They had me out in 20 minutes and even gave a veteran discount. Pleased with their service.
Honest service. Negotiators for price advantage. However,, in accurate estimate for job being done. Excuses. But owner is nice decent and honest. Felt like there was a bit of incompetence. But job got done. I guess I’m just impatient but when you have 1 car and they don’t give you a loner car. Don’t tell me the job will be done tomorrow and it was 3 days later
My first time at Meineke for a oil change was very surprised at the service. The lady at the reception desk was very welcoming and helpful. The manger came out to check out about what was needed and the mechanic was quick and thoughtful. The entire time for the oil change was less than one hour. The waiting room is clean and pleasant. I highly recommend this station in Hanover.
