I cannot thank Joe Prince enough for the help he gave me yesterday.
My car wouldn't start in the freezing cold while I was on my way to a job interview. I called O'Reilly Auto Parts Hanover, MA which was near the parking lot where I was, and Joe came, worked quickly in the intense cold without complaining, and managed to get my car running, taking it to his O'Reilly store and installing a new battery in no time, outside even in the freezing temperatures. His professionalism, kindness, and speed truly transformed a terrible afternoon into something positive. I ended up getting to my job interview on time and got home safely. I attempted to swap out my Mom’s old wiper blades in the parking lot at Advance Auto Parts just down the road, but one of the wiper blades I pulled from the package were broken. I went back into Advance Auto Parts and the gentleman refused to exchange the blade for me. Granted, it was the second time in a row I pulled a broken wiper blade from the package, so I understand his hesitance, but I never even left the parking lot. I hadn’t done anything nefarious with them. There wasn’t some wiper blade scandal going on. I was just trying to change them out for my Mom as a good son does. Annoyed, I went down to the O’Reilly Auto Parts to buy another wiper blade of the same brand as I didn’t want to deal with the gentleman at Advance Auto Parts again.
Alex greeted me at the door and asked if he could help me find anything. I explained to him the situation and that I was looking for a good replacement for the broken “new” wiper blade I pulled straight from the package at Advance Auto Parts. He saw my annoyance and met it with understanding, then even attempted to exchange it for me since the gentleman at Advance Auto Parts failed to meet customer expectations. He wasn’t able to, but the sentiment remained. He was willing to go above and beyond what a customer might expect. A testament to his good nature and character. He’s a good man and O’Reilly Auto Parts is lucky to have him on-board.

ORIGINALLY POSTED 7 MONTHS AGO BY MISTAKE FOR O'REILLY'S IN CEDAR LAKE. SHOULD HAVE BEEN HANOVER MA... I went in last week for head light bulbs and the salesperson/tech could have tried to sell me the most expensive ones but was honest and did not. I didn't catch his name but kept the receipt and it seems his name is Pete. Truthfully I have never had a bad experience at the Hanover O'Reilly's or any other that I can recall. They take the time to explain something if you're not exactly sure on what to do. I'm really sorry I didn't double check before posting this review the first time because the staff at OReilly in Hanover have helped me out with parts knowledge and purchasing for as long as the store has been open. I'm guessing 15 - 20 years and I hope it continues for another 30 - 40 years. A big, giant, huge THANK YOU to all the staff over that time. Chris
This is MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE orielly's. Every employee is so awesome, knowledgeable and helpful. JESSICA specifically is unbelievable, she's an angel. She helped me look things up...while helping customers in the store and on the phone... For about 25 minutes straight. She is an exemplary employee. God bless her.
My windshield wiper flew off my truck on rt 3 so I got my truck to O’Rielys in Hanover where Alex went way out of his way to help me.
This is my second time I’ve been there and Alex was Fantastic both times I highly recommend this store
So stopping at Grocery store. My car don't start. I was able to get a jump start. Stopped at O'Reilly bought a battery. And was supplied the tool to replace it in front of the store so i could return the core. All in all 5 starrs from my counter attendant. Thanks

This is my first stop for auto parts, and usually my last, as they are more likely to have what I need in stock than other local stores. Very friendly staff, helpful, reasonable prices which are often excellent during sales. I haven't needed advice from them, but I've heard them answer questions for customers and they have always sounded well informed and don't try to BS people or upsell them. The one time they didn't know the answer, he just said that up front (whereas many people we'll just make up an answer so they don't seem uninformed).
I bought a battery and they installed it immediately saving me from having to drive home, install it and then drive back for the core return. Installation was free and professional. A+

This location has some excellent customer service. So helpful, so friendly, and really helped me out in a bind. When my dad passed away, and my car battery needed replacing, I needed to learn basic car maintenance fast! My dad was always a fan of O'Reillys so I thought there would be my best chance at success. The team went above and beyond--they even went as far as replacing the old battery with the new one right there in the parking lot AND they showed me every step of the process so that I would know how to do it myself for the inevitable next time.
Now this young lady will be ready the next time a car battery needs replacing! I will definitely continue to be a customer here for all my auto part needs.
Very positive experience at the Hanover store. I was waited on almost as soon as I walked through the door. The young man at the counter was waiting on another customer but he called back to a colleague to come out and help me.
The second person was extremely helpful. He found the part I had ordered on the phone yesterday afternoon, and then walked with me out to the sales floor to help me locate two other products I needed.
I was very impressed with the level of customer service at this store.
I enjoy going to going to that store, because people like John an Colin’s and the other folks have a strong automotive knowledge. When they don’t have a part they can get it same day from there warehouse. They do sell better quality products than there competitors. I have used oreilly’s with my project build and they have never let me down. Good job guys l
Long day at work, wiper is peeling and snow coming, just looking to get home fast but stopped to make sure I got home safe. COLIN was incredibly nice, asked me on my way in what I’m looking for and directed me to the right product in seconds, then came out in the rain and switched my wiper in seconds. Unbelievably awesome, had to write this in the parking lot before I left

The Oreilys of Hanover has a great crew of employees. They're very helpful in providing answers to my questions, if they don't have what you need they are quick to order it. Every time I've gone there (5×s this wk alone) I've been greeted with a smile & quick assistance as soon as I stepped in the door. In & out in under 5 min.
Recently I had headlight troubles and needed to go to an auto part store to get it fixed. My mom and I visited O'Reilly Auto Parts in Hanover. Not only was I greeted and dealt with very well, the employee named David went above and beyond to actually helped us change the headlight. He also taught us neat tricks and what to do next time we have the same problem and completed the full transfer of a light with no additional costs. drove in around 930 am 7-31-20 to a warm welcome had to check battery it was the battery terminal was loose and rotted Tyler was a great help and fixed the problem im good to go will return and will recommend this store 100 % store very clean
I had a problem with a hydroboost and didn't have my receipt and the manager of the store took the time and found my receipt in their system and I was able to get my unit replaced. Extremely happy with the customer service.
They should have everything you need. If they don't they'll have it for you The same day from their warehouse or another location. Knowledgeable staff who don't search the computer for an hour trying to figure out what a water pump looks like.
The staff at the Hanover location were very helpful, nice, and didn't try to up sell me on anything. Prices were also comparable to what I saw online. For someone who isn't a car guy, the whole process was about as seamless as I could have hoped for. I was in and out in under 10 minutes.
Had to get a new battery the store manager JON DYER was great and took the time to explain and change the battery. I will be back to that location thank you very much!!!!....I have never visited this business this review is fake, I don't know how they got my info but I'm guessing Jon Dyer would be the place to start.
Great store. We'll informed employees. They offered me price matching without even having to ask. It's my first stop when I need something for the car.
They were so friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. They helped me replace the bulb on my daytime running lights right there in the parking lot. Great customer service! I'll definitely use them again in the future.
