Excellent skilled mechanics! Very reasonable and competitive pricing. I own 2 vehicles, 1 is a cargo van. I’ve been bringing my vehicles to get Maintenance at Top Auto for years now. Today February 27, 2026 I just got my Brake pads, rotors, and calibers all changed in 2 hrs. I love the quick service & attention to detail. John, his daughter & Charlie all in the office are Always super nice! The whole team there goes above and beyond

The Blizzard of 2026!! After clean up, my BMW X5 would not start. I called my local mechanics and they said it would be a week before I could drop my car to see what is needed. I went on Google to find the nest shop to handle my car. Top Auto Revere Trans. had the best reviews and 4.9***** I called and a lovely girl named Tiffany answered the phone with such mechanical knowledge, (she stated she had 3 X5's in the past). I brought the car and immediately was met by owner John with so much experience, he explained everything and sent animation videos, to better explain. Mt car was fixed quickly and the price never went up, even though extra work was needed. Charlie kept me update during the process. I recommend this shop to all of my family members. It is great to see a "family operation".

I came in without an appointment, just walked in, needed an oil change but had other issues as well and they had me in and out in under 30 minutes. Honest work, honest prices and amazing service. Highly recommend, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Best of the best. Have been coming here for 5 years with my Mercedes and my Chrysler 200 and couldn’t ask for better service. Highly recommend. No matter the issue, they can fix it at a reasonable Price.

My experience here has been very pleasant from start to finish. They were quick, efficient, and their prices were more than fair. On top of that, the hospitality I received from the owner and the lovely lady who answers the phone was absolutely amazing. I know mechanics sometimes get a bad reputation, but when you come across people like this, they truly deserve all the praise. Great! They did car battery and fixed my fuses super fast! The woman at the front desk is a wonderful woman she’s so nice and makes you feel like you’re in safe hands which you are!! Love this place I highly recommend

These guys can do everything - much more than transmissions. Knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. Do great work quickly at very reasonable prices. A pleasure to work with. Replaced my Mercedes battery in 15 minutes without an appointment and programmed my car so that glitches surfaced which would have required a re-visit. Impressive and very skilled group of mechanics.

Down to earth and efficient. Went in with questions. They said that’s what we do and had the problem diagnosed within minutes. Left the vehicle overnight and got a call at 8:30 im the morning she was complete. From the time I stopped in to the moment I picked up the car was less than 17 hours. Remarkable! Oh, they replaced the axels and bearings on my Camry. She drives like new. Very pleased!

Excellent service and communication throughout. My husband and I were visiting Boston when our car began to make a strange sound. They got us into the shop on a holiday weekend - and had a quote on-site and the car fixed in 2 and half hours. We were particularly appreciative because of the timeframe and their unfront nature with the pricing.

I’ve been coming into the garage for 21 years and every single time I pull up to the door they take me right in give a proper diagnosis, order parts and I’m out the door door . Most recent visit was a little more complicated as I had to order hard to come by rear end parts, John kept me informed the whole time, the minutes the truck dropped the parts off. They were back at work, putting me back together and back on the road, highly recommend the garage and I will continue to come here, by the way, I am traveling over 32 miles just to get to this garage so that should tell you something Tom Grondin

Got a grinding noise on the right front wheel of my BMW for the past two weeks. I called several places but none would work on European cars until I bumped into Top Auto. As a new customer, they are beyond my expectations! I brought in the car in the afternoon right after the call, and they did a thorough check to identify the issue, and gave me clear explanations, options, and prices. Moreover, they were able to get the parts in and get everything done the next morning, and also give me a ride back home that afternoon. Clear communication, professional work, great price, and friendly! Highly recommended, and they will definitely be my go to mechanic in the future.

Great service and highly recommend. I’ve always gotten same day service for small/medium needs (which is great) and I think I only waited one day for a major project. John and Charlie in the office were great and attentive, gave me advanced notice when my car would be ready, and would highly recommend as go-to mechanics. Big tip, arrive as early in the morning as you can with best chance for same-day service.

WOW — that’s the best way to start this review. This is actually the first Google review I’ve ever written, but this experience was so top-notch that I felt it was important to share — especially since reading reviews is what led me to try this place in the first place. I’ll be the first to admit I have very little knowledge about vehicles, and auto shops usually make me extremely anxious because of the stereotypes around being taken advantage of/surrounded by hypermasculine energy. That was absolutely not the case here. From the moment I called, Charlie was polite and helpful and let me know they could look at the punctured tire as a walk-in. When I arrived, they inspected all the tires and explained that 1 out of the 4 was too worn to safely repair and would need replacement and an additional one will sooner than later need replacement as well. I braced myself for the worst thinking here they go taking advance of me, but instead John took the time to bring me over, show me the issues firsthand, and explain everything clearly in layman’s terms. He even gave me the option to repair it anyway, while being honest about the safety concerns and likelihood of continued leaking. I decided to get both suggested tires replaced! They also pointed out another minor leak that will eventually need attention but made it very clear that it was not urgent or unsafe to drive on right now. They offered to take care of it during this visit if I had the time and budget, but there was absolutely no pressure when I decided to hold off. The kindness, patience, and transparency here completely changed my perspective on auto shops. They met me where I was and treated me with respect instead of pressure. I won’t hesitate to come back for any future mechanic needs and will 100% return for routine maintenance. This shop is genuine, trustworthy, and deserving of its reputation — I’ll be recommending them to all my friends and family. They truly live up to the “Top Auto” in their name!

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, but after few weeks later my car was already asking for the same service again. It honestly felt like they just reset the reminder instead of actually doing the work. That really made me question their honesty. I’m glad I noticed it early, but I won’t be going back and not recommended.

I had an issue with a sound in my car that was difficult to diagnose. The owner was diligent in tracking it down and making sure everything was repaired the way I wanted it to be. Very happy with how professional they were and how they treated me as a customer. The time that was taken to explain everything to me was very much appreciated.

Top Auto is top rated for a reason. My vehicle was towed in twice in 24 hours then back again 5 days later. Owner John & his team found & fixed three different issues. They were knowledgeable in their work, fair with the pricing, & sent me back on the road with peace of mind that things were now running safely. I hope I won’t be back anytime soon but I know they’ll be there the next time I need them.

After my mechanic retired, I found Top Auto—and I’m so glad I did. My Subaru had multiple issues that had piled up over the past few years—a real mess. So I called and spoke with John, and without an appointment, he told me to come right in. Within five minutes, they had my car on the lift and, after a quick inspection, invited me into the bay to explain everything in detail, showing me the failed parts. The team—experienced professionals with what looks like 25+ years each—were extremely knowledgeable and knew everything about my specific make/model, and their careful explanations showed how much pride they take in their work. On top of excellent service, they gave me a great deal on all the repairs. They replaced three wheel bearings, a strut, ball joint, CV joint, two sway bar links, and even straightened my frame—in just five hours. I felt like I had my own personal NASCAR team! Dropped off 2017 VW golf R for checking on coolant leak. The tech/owner explained the process clearly and make multiple calls to explain on how and what to replace the water pump. Also, the price of parts and labor hourly rate was reasonable that fits the local rate. I was able to pick it up on another day which was very helpful.

John Ford and Tiffany were extremely kind and helpful. Wonderful staff to work with and great environment! Especially helpful regarding claims with my warranty. I highly recommend and will definitely be going back there with and future car problems
