Went in to get wipers for my car. Juan Carlos Lasanta was very helpful. He helped me find the right ones for my car and when I asked if it was easy to install he told me that he would help me install it. He came out and not only installed them but showed me how to do it so I can do it myself if I ever was in that situation again. I really appreciated his extra help especially since the weather wasn't that great today.

Went to find an obscure, but necessary small part and although they didn’t have it in stock, lovely employee named SOLY went out of her way to locate the part at another nearby store, called them and had them hold it for me. She was very polite, and professional! Her customer service deserves recognition!

Awilda the store manager is courteous and knowledgeable when it comes to locating any parts for your vehicle!

The Store Manager Awilda, for a person in charge she needs to learn better customer service and how to speak to people. And walking around in the work place with your bare feet is not only disgusting it's very unprofessional. And it really makes no sense to complain because another manager at another Advance Auto Parts says she has been this way and is never reprimanded. Clearly she is in good with someone in the head of this company to have repeated incidents or complaints and is not held accountable. So should one really be mad at the store manager for her actions or the company who continues to allow it.

Horrible people. Horrible service. Lazy. Obnoxious. Entitled. No service skills. Don't bother, especially with an online order you really need.

Bought new front and rear wipers and the woman who helped me locate them came out to the parking lot to help install and test them, too. Above and beyond, and much appreciated! These can be frustrating to install and it was super nice of her to help.

This store lost a customer for life. I went it yesterday to by replacement headlight bulbs and without asking or disclosing it they added a warrantee and an item to my bill.

Went in for some screws and the young man in there went above and beyond to help me he didn't have to and he explained to me the different threads highly recommend the customer service here to other auto parts stores.

Purchased a windshield sun shield, after checking that it included my model car. Tried to install it, realized it didn’t fit, came back in to return it five minutes later, was told by fellow at the counter they could not accept return as the product was not able to be sold. I left the item on the counter and said I wasn’t interested in going round and round over their return policy. Will not be shopping at this location again. Purchase occurred between 4-5 pm today.

Be aware that if the battery you purchase includes free installation or not. After completing my purchase and installation (done by them), the guy told me if I could "tip on top of the $20 installation fee, that'd be great". I did not realize he mentioned an installation fee until after I got home (in the moment, i was too happy that the issue with my vehicle was ONLY the battery). If there was an installation fee, why was it not added to my transaction. The situation seems questionable. Edit: editing to add that weeks later, I brought my vehicle for its overall maintenance and was told the battery was not strapped down. It was moving around. Apparently, the piece that holds it in place to keep it from moving around was missing. I've also noticed the battery wasn't even placed in the sleeve. The sleeve was just wedged behind the battery. I guess in an attempt to keep the battery from moving around. I'm not sure what was done to the piece that was used to keep the original battery in place.

Always got what I need but the SPANISH LADY with the broken English who has been at this location for a while now always makes me want to walk out. I’m Latino by the way just didn’t catch her name. She doesn’t run this store correctly as there is always a ton of ppl standing around waiting to pay because her and the two other employees want to spend 30min each helping people buy parts and I get it but not one employee is cashing out the ppl who are just walking into say buy an air freshener. So if you’re trying to make a quick stop here this is definitely not the place to go since most likely that air freshener is gonna cost you almost 30 min and a few bucks. 3 employees present just get one to help the ppl walking in and out so a line doesn’t get formed like always when I walk in.

The associate overcharged me for wipers. He also added a protection plan that I did not ask for without my knowledge. He then proceeded to make me feel uncomfortable while installing the wipers on my car. He had the audacity to ask for a tip for his "services" when he couldn't even figure out how to properly install my wipers (which to my knowledge is a free service provided by Advance Auto). Do better.

Great place. My battery died, and I'm so mad I forgot the guys name he deserves the recognition for going above and beyond to help me. Put my battery in no problem. Great service!!

This is my go store for anything automotive related. They always have what I need! The manager is one of the nicest people I know! Employees are very helpful and friendly! Highly suggest advance auto dedham

One guy is working the female is here chit chatting on the phone with her friend in Spanish. Luckily I speak Spanish and it was unrelated to work and about weekend plans and gossip. Do better with a line and not working doing what you are paid for . Company needs to watch cameras and make sure this girl is actually working.

Tons of delays. Attendant spends wasteful time on the phone. Lack of management and customer service. Don't waste your time at this branch, save yourself the trouble and go to another who takes their job seriously. Not to mention with the distracted phone call, the lady at the register got me the wrong wiper blades on two trips to the store. Wasting my time. I had to eventually order the wiper blades from Amazon. How could you mess up what type of wipers... when you have make, model, and series of the vehicle? The same info I used on Amazon and nailed it on the first try. Don't go here.

I’ve been purchasing parts for years at your location on 444 providence highway in Dedham, today your employee Rich provided excellent knowledge and service. Very thankful that you have some amazing people working at this location.

Advance Auto Parts are full of it! Not a car expert but the cashier tricked me into buying the wrong parts for my car which cost $70. When I went to the garage (because I’m not a mechanic) to install the parts the people at the garage told me it was the wrong parts. After getting the correct parts from the garage I went back to Advance Auto to return to refund the $70. They told me that they can’t return electronics even though it was not used and item was opened by the garage people. Screw you Advance Auto Parts and that cashier who confused me with the parts.

Sean was tremendously helpful. Got to the store just before closing after the place down the road couldn't help me with battery testing. Even though he was about to close up, he went out of his way to test my battery and let me know it was in good shape. Good customer service is hard to find and I would absolutely come here first next time. Thanks Sean

Shawn/Sean provided the best customer service. He quickly researched the size of my wiper blades and was able to install them for me. He seemed busy but he stopped what he was doing to help me with this process. Will come back again to Advance Auto Parts. Thank you for the awesome experience. Give this guy a raise!

Ordered a headlight I needed online and it was ready in 30 minutes for pick up at store - very easy and the man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint (not the biggest deal)...I purchased a diet coke in the store that had expired in early 2018 and it was very icky.

I shopped in store several months ago. The item I purchased was based on the recommendation of the store associate. It was not effective. I came back to store to return it. The store manager was very rude. He said he will not return as it is open. I explained that I bought it few days ago and I did not use it. He rudely took from me another item which I was buying and said I will not sell you this item. He is very bad reputation to Advanced Auto Part. I tried to call Advanced Auto Part, kept behind the line for more than 1 hour and no one responded. Will never go again to Advanced auto part.

Excellent customer service! They made sure that the wiper blades I was purchasing were compatible with my vehicle and even came out and installed them. They definitely earned my appreciation.

I was absolutely blown away. I know so little about cars, and needed new windshield wipers. About five seconds after walking in, Kris immediately asks how he can help. He was able to quickly find what I need, describe the different options, and he helped me install them! A trip I expected to take 30 minutes took less than 10. It’s so rare to get this kind of service, and I can honestly say that if I need stuff for my car again, this is where I’ll go.

Great customer service. Guy that helped me was very helpful and knowledgeable! He was the only one out of 8 other employees who were just sitting around chatting but at least I got the guy who seemed to want to help and knew his stuff. They didn't have what I needed but I would still go back for anything else that they would have. Thanks!
