After too much work was required on my existing car to keep it running, I needed a car quickly and was recommended to go across the street to the auto sales division of V & F. From the first moment I walked in, Jim made it very comfortable with no pressure. He showed me multiple cars that I was interested in, and in the end I was able to get a great deal on a car he had on the lot. He made a stressful situation effortless and professional. There are many things that go into buying a car after yours has suddenly "died". On my first full day of car shopping, I happened to go by V & F Auto. After walking the lot and finding a car I was interested in, I took it for a test drive and LOVED it. I sat down with Jim to discuss the particulars. I told him I would be financing the car. He asked that I keep him updated throughout the process. He was quick to answer my e-mails and return my calls. Even though there were a few hurdles, Jim made it easy. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I needed to get a first used car for my two teenagers. I am not a "car guy" , nor do I have a mechanic on call (let alone the time or patience ) to travel around to a dozen dealerships . A colleague recommended V+F as absolutely trust worthy . "Tell them what you want and they will not only find it for you, they will put it through their shop to make sure it is safe and reliable." Sounded like just what I needed-- every parent wants safety and reliability. We gave Jim Dowd a list of criteria-- price , mileage, seating /cargo capacity, dimensions , and a few sample models. A few weeks later he delivered us a vehicle that met our criteria and at our price. With a four new tires. Two thumbs up!!

I cannot say enough positive things about the level of service I received from Jim here at V&F. Because of this, I was able to purchase a beautiful Hyundai Tuscon Limited for a very reasonable price, and Jim has gone above and beyond to ensure that I have been happy with my purchase. When we started looking at buying a second car, V&F Auto was recommended to us. We ended up seeing a Jeep Cherokee for sale and stopped by to take a look. Jim was extremely helpful and accommodating when looking at it and letting us take a test drive. He made the process super easy and quick. I'd definitely go back when looking for another car and will recommend Jim and V & F Auto to friends.

Jim seems like a decent guy. I drove over 2hrs away to pick up my van. Unfortunately, I was told my van had a spare tire. When I checked later that day I realized it did not. Additionally, some of the windows would not go down in the vehicle either, again I let him know the same day. The vehicle was over 22k, would’ve liked these issues to be resolved. Now I’m buying a spare for 375$ and windows were 250$ to fix. I would’ve given him one star but he was responsive throughout the process. Just wished my concerns were addressed.

Tried other dealers, Jim is the best no comparison! Made my entire car buying experience simple, up front, at a fantastic price! I love the car these guys really honor their word! Highly recommended five stars if you dont want the hassle of other places see Jim he will absolutely do right by you!

Jim was super easy to deal with. He provided all answers to my questions while making me feel like i was a person rather than just business. Living out of state it could have been very difficult to seal the deal but it wasn't he made the transaction a very simple process and in the future i will look to Jim when vehicle shopping again. I was on the market for a used vehicle after suffering a total loss on my previous vehicle. I have been used car shopping for about a year dealing with shady dishonest sales people and dealerships. I was always full of apprehension whenever I would go to a dealership knowing what I was in store for. Jim at V&F was hands down the best. He wasn’t pushy and was very honest with me from the beginning. He had the car ready and answered all of my questions about it. Once I decided I was going to buy the car he offered me top dollar for my trade, no back and forth at all, and no lowball offers. From the first phone message (promptly returned) to the day we picked up our car, this experience was excellent. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Jim & his service team did a great job making sure our Subaru was in perfect condition. I am very impressed with the level of customer service, as well as Jim’s willingness to go out of his way to accommodate our time constraints. I work on Saturdays & we live two hours away. I hope that V&F auto is still around the next time I need a car. When I found out in December that my current car was not safe for the road, and I needed to replace it ASAP, I was extremely worried that I would not find anything I really wanted in a short time frame. I found a listing at V&F and was immediately interested. My father went to inspect and test drive the car one day while I was at work, and Jim was extremely helpful and honest with him. After my father gave it his vote of confidence, I went to check it out myself. Jim helped me through the whole process, explaining each necessary step and all of the paperwork, and was completely transparent throughout.
