Recently, I went in for a pick up in store order. No issue. However, I came in a week later to return the items with proof of purchase. Seemed easy enough. When I returned home, I received an email from Advanced Auto Parts, claiming I would be issued store credit in the form of a gift card. That made absolutely no sense, the parts in their original packaging, receipt present, and I had returned to the exact store I had purchased from. A week in time between my purchase and return.
I decided to call the store and see if they could resolve it. I spoke with an older gentleman, he was not too sure what to do, so he transferred me to who I believe is a supervisor, a lady with red hair. I re-explain the situation, calm at first. However, she starts speaking to me as if I am a complete moron. By this, I mean she started speaking to me so slowly and doing long pauses. I was so upset and even said how the associate who had conducted my return mentioned my refund would be issued back to my original payment method (my credit card). Again, she treated me as a moron and said I would have to contact corporate and resolve it on my own as it's on me and not them. Even though they were the ones who completed the refund.
I obviously contacted corporate and resolved the matter. They were not sure what had occurred either. My issue is how the red-haired supervisor treated me. If you need a purchase and do not plan on returning it, sure you can go to their store, but beware if you encounter an issue or even have to do a refund. However, this is a chain place, go to one of their other locations. Do not voluntarily deal with them. Also, right before me, they were arguing with another customer over a refund. Seems that refunds are not their specialty.
Store is close and convenient for me. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and also clean. There are many auto parts stores around me and I stop here for the ease of store set and good staff!
I stopped into Advance Auto Parts trying to sort out an issue with an aftermarket headlamp and turn signal bulbs on my 2013 Highlander, and the staff went above and beyond to help. Instead of just pointing me to the aisle, they took the time to look at the housing, compare bulb types, and help me test fit options to make sure everything seated correctly and functioned the way it should.
They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in solving the problem rather than rushing the interaction. Automotive lighting can be surprisingly confusing with all the cross-references and fitment differences, but they helped narrow it down and get me back on the road safely.
Great customer service, helpful staff, and a willingness to troubleshoot. Exactly what you hope for when walking into a parts store.
Biggest commercial distribution in area. Also have retail floor. Most parts can be found at this exact location. Gets new inventory several times a week.
Just had the best experience ever with this store. My car was acting up on the way home on route 1 with my sick toddler in the car. I called & asked if I could just pull up to get a reading on my car so I didn't have to take the kiddo out just to run in & ask for help. I didn't catch the guy's name, but he said that was no problem. When I got there, he came out, got the codes for my car & helped me troubleshoot & gave me tips on what to do before putting it in the shop. He was so understanding, nice, accommodating, & helpful & I appreciated it so much!
I took my vehicle to this place last Thursday I had 2 kids try to install a battery. 2 1/2 hours & 2 batteries later.....I was left with no vehicle & fried alternator and relay/fuse electrical box. I am so upset. I've been without a vehicle for 6 days now. Tried calling them with no reults. Guy on phone didn't even apologize. DO NOT GO THERE! Inexperienced with no knowledge of positive & negative. Seriously?????
Went in for battery I saw online. At first they said they only had die hard batteries for over 2x price, then when I showed them the online listing they said it wasn't their store, then I showed them it was their store they incorrectly typed in part #, then when I pointed it out and he found it in their database he said it wouldn't fit my car.
I had already done the research. I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay for it. He says "ill try n find it.... " 10 mins later someone who didn't even look like they worked there came out with even more attitude telling me it won't fit, and they can't find it. After lots of huffing and puffing they finally "found" it and sold it to me... fit even better than the 1 they sold me last time and works great.
This experience was infuriating
I can't say enough good things about this Advanced Auto Parts store. We ordered a car battery online and went to the store to pick it up. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process.
What really stood out was how they went above and beyond by installing the battery for us—in 95-degree weather! Their professionalism and willingness to assist under such tough conditions were truly impressive.
A huge thank you to the employees for making what could have been a stressful experience into a seamless and pleasant one. Highly recommend this store to anyone looking for great products and even better service!

I am a female so walking in a store not knowing anything from a car battery to fuel pumps is uncharted territory in a male dominated trade. Long story short there was a kind salesperson Bentley who gave me knowledge and helped me understand my car a bit better. I went in for a dying battery check and needed a new one ! to my surprise did’nt know they install it for free. He was quick, professional and answered any questions I had. He did a check on my alternator and starter as well which were fine. Thank you so much Bentley.helping me, This place is awesome!! ?? ??
The friendly staff working behind the counter on the day I went in answered all of my silly questions, offered the correct products I needed, and, as a bonus, offered insight on the proper techniques necessary to complete my repair. Thanks ?
This place is horrible on inventory, never has anything in stock, I’d recommended this be your last option, when it comes to parts or anything you need, go to o’Reilly’s save your self the hassel
Don’t know his name because he didn’t have a name tag. I do know he had huge holes in his ears. Unbelievably rude. Insulted his coworker and was over the top rude to me. I would rather deal with subpar service in central falls. This place won’t be there long.

The person who helped me didn't know anything. He pulled up the part he thought might work, with double the price of my research. I left for Autozone who was on point with the right price.
This is the place to go to. Staff is super helpful, take the time to make sure your getting a part that is in working order. Had a small run of bad alternators out of the box, they took the time to test to make sure I was getting a good one. Will definitely be going back to this location
Wasted an hour of my time after I verbally specified what part I was looking for and was then given a part for a much newer vehicle. I could not have been more clear and specific with my request, yet correctly entering the info into a computer was apparently too difficult of a task to get right. Double check what they give you, because they won't.
