Great setting on the water, charcuterie and wines were all good. They have cider and sangria for those who don’t take wine seriously.

It was wonderful to see Karen and Mimsy after 40+ years. The wine was enjoyable, the seating relaxing, and the location and view reminded me of a Georges Seurat painting. (In all fairness I also visited on a Sunday afternoon.)

This establishment has an incredibly relaxed atmosphere and delicious wine offerings. Listening to the gentle waves with a drink in hand and good company felt like absolute bliss. Great little pit stop on our way back over the bridge. Highly recommend.

I just can't say enough about this business and this property!! it's always a beautiful day, today in particular because we saw a beautiful strong rainbow LOL. And then a experience and great staff!! I encourage everyone to come out and just hang out for a good afternoon on the water with great wine!!

Love Point Vineyards and Winery is a beautiful venue by the water, where one can taste the Maryland wines. On Mother’s Day (5/11/2025) was very especial with the live music.

We have come to this winery twice now, by boat. The rare joy of combining wine tasting with boating will keep us returning to Love Point. The wine is good, and the location is great. Four out of five stars, only because the price of charcuterie and cheese boards is well in the upper range compared to many other wineries we have been to. This does not affect my rating, but when arriving by boat, the water approaching the winery is very shallow. The small dock was unreachable. So you will likely need to anchor out and either wade in (sandy bottom) or paddleboard in.

I have been wanting to go to this Vinyard for a while and it is what I expected it to be. Absolutely gorgeous, right by the water with plenty of spots to sit either outdoors or indoors. We got the white wine as well as red wine flights. Top picks were the chardonnay for the white and the blend for the red. We settled on a bottle of the chardonnay even though we typically drink reds. If you like peppery cabs and merlots you're in the right place. We got the vegetable and cheese board, which was a good plate to share for the two of us. The price tag was pretty standard for Vineyards in the area and this one definitely is one of the prettier ones around here. They also have a little beachy area and a deck and in general the view is just magnificent. Highly recommend. Other notes; Bathroom is a clean trailer near the parking lot. Dogs are welcome. Employees are very friendly and welcoming.

Love Point Winery on Kent Island is a hidden gem that delivers a perfect blend of great wine, beautiful scenery, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The setting is stunning, with the vineyard offering gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay, making it an ideal spot for an afternoon escape. The wines themselves are top-notch, with a nice variety to suit different palates. I particularly enjoyed their whites, which were crisp and refreshing, and their reds, which had a bold and well-rounded flavor. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They really make you feel at home, whether you’re there for a tasting or simply to enjoy a glass on their lovely patio. Love Point Winery is the perfect destination for wine lovers or anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Beautiful view and comfortable seating. The wine and charcuterie board were delicious!

Beautiful setting right on the water. Surprisingly good wines for a fairly new small winery. The reds were really smooth, and the whites were delightful. I subtracted one star for the charcuterie board. For $25 I expected more than a handful of wheat thins, peanut butter filled pretzels, almonds, and some mediocre cheese and meat. The chocolates were good. I’ve had a lot of charcuterie boards in my day and this did not measure up, especially for the price. Also, they don’t let you bring your own food so you’re stuck with it. If they upped their charcuterie game or let you bring your own snacks, this place would be awesome.

This winery is so pretty and relaxing!!!!! Facing the shore of the Kent island. We had a wonderful time here drinking chilling blueberry cider and wine after a short hike at Terrapin park.

A small quaint winery on the Chester River. The flavors of wine were good on the pallet along with the charcuterie board. The scenery is perfect location to spend some with friends.

This is a special place for amazing wine, views and exceptional, friendly vitners! Don't let this be a hidden gem, put it on your "need to check this out" list! UPDATE! Attended the wine release party on 7/18 - outstanding evening, great new wines to taste (LOVE the Vidal Blanc!). The music and food were excellent and just an overall great vibe. We brought friends from DE and they loved it as well. Be sure to visit them if you haven't already. I cannot wait for the next event!

My husband and I love Love Point Vineyards! We went to a wine release event last night. The event had live music, bbq dinner and of course tastings of their new delicious wines!! It looked like a good time was had by all! The grounds and views are beautiful too! If you haven’t been, it’s a must! Thank you Karen and Tim!!

Amazing Winery. Spectacular views of the Chester River, great hosts w owners Karen and Tim and the vine was superb. Everytime we go we bring a few bottles home. All our friends love the wine (especially the award winning Cab and Merlot) and ask where we bought it. Always friendly people there and easy to get to. Rest assured we will be back.

This place has a nice atmosphere and a lovely location at Love Point. However, the staff are incredibly rude, which was very disappointing. The only pleasant experience was meeting a friendly dog named Stella. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.

Beautiful spot that's worth a visit. Lots of space to spread out and a wonderful view of the Bay. Wine selection and quality was solid, for a local winery. We particularly enjoyed a sparkling red which is not so easy to find around. However I would recommend eating before you arrive: they do not allow outside food and only offer meat/cheese or cheese/veggie boards. We ordered the former and it was a small collection of precut items from Costco. Criminal to charge $25 or $50 for that, and not even a particularly good serving size. So skip the overpriced /low quality food, and just order some drinks and enjoy the view.

Very fun experience. My wife found some wine she enjoyed. We met some wonderful people there! The staff were very friendly. I don’t drink however I enjoyed the charcuterie board. The prices were very reasonable (at least I think so).

Such a lovely place right by the water. The wine was good, the owner was friendly and attentive, and my friend and I enjoyed the selection on the charcuterie board. We stayed for a few hours and enjoyed a lovely day by the bay. We'll definitely be back!

Great spot right on the water to relax in an adirondack chair and enjoy some good wine and charcuterie. We showed up with about 10 people on a Thursday afternoon and had a great experience. Highly recommend the white sangria, the charcuterie boards and trying some wine flights. This place also is dog-friendly (the owners’ dog Bella was really fun) and family-run.

Wounder Vineyard to visit and sample the wines. Beautiful sitting area over looking the Chesapeake Bay.

My family has been weekenders on the island for 20+ years and are so so so happy we found this hidden gem. The wine, scenic views of both the bay and the vineyard where the grapes are grown are incredible. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Tim and staff!

Hidden gem!! Dog friendly! This place is very secluded and the first thing I noticed was the area was so quiet, absolutely lovely. Lots of patio seating and some seating inside. But the real spot is under the huge trees in the provided Adirondack chairs watching the water and sipping on a wine flight while eating a simple but nice charcuterie board. The vineyard is fairly young (2015) but lovely. Definitely a must visit. Dogs are welcome and you could bring a picnic blanket and some to-go food if you wanted also.

Lovely spot to sit back and relax while sipping on some wine. We went on a Thursday afternoon, so it was fairly quiet. They have plenty of seating choices - from the patio to the Adirondack chairs on the lawn by the water. What can be better! The wines were pleasant and the charcuterie board, while not cheap, was tasty and well-presented (we got the smaller size for two of us - was plenty). We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Came here with 7 of my girls for my bachelorette weekend! We couldn't have asked for better weather! Love Point was so beautiful, right on the water. We all got wine flights and ate the super delicious cheese board they sold! We had a such a great time and though they were busy, the service was fairly quick! We hope to be back!

We had a great experience here! Popped in for a happy hour glass/bottle of wine with cousins for a girls weekend and it was the perfect setting. The view is gorgeous, the staff is beyond friendly and helpful, and the wine is delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful quiet gem! Delicious wine by tye glass or bottle. Nice charcuterie boards and chips with salsa. It's a beautiful escape. Enjoy!

Maryland is universally known for crabs, beer, and football, not wine. Love Point Vineyards and Winery is the exception - these wines are wonderfully smooth and delectable. The Chardonnay is heavenly with semi-dry citrusy undertones, as is the Blanc and Rose. I wish that I had sampled the reds, but it was hot today and I’ll certainly be back again. Many Maryland wines are way too sweet (sorry Linganore and St. Michael’s)…Love Point’s wines tasted like what I’d expect from Napa, France, or Charlottesville.

Lovely new vineyard on Kent Island. Solid selection of wines. We had the pleasure of trying the “Summer Breeze” white wine blend, which had a nice medium body and a little bit of sweetness—perfect for a hot day. There are some more secluded adirondack chairs behind the main building that provide nice shade and a picturesque view of the bay!
