We never used the shop, but had an accident across the street, and Mik was very generous hosting us in his shop until our ride arrived. He offered coffee and drinks and made us feel home, and giving us a warm shelter during a 30 degree January day. We are grateful to be safe. Alhamed ellallah.
My serpentine belt/pulley snapped off while I was driving on the highway. I went to AutoZone in a panic, who called this shop to see if they could help me. They got me in immediately, fixed everything and had me back on the road in under an hour. Forever thankful and grateful for the experience I had here. What a wonderful mechanic and shop!
I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Mike and his crew. I usually have kids in tow during oil change visits and they always make sure to get things done quickly for me. Just had new tires put on and again, it was quick, professional service with the best quote for my tires.
No one wants to find a nail in a tire right before a roadtrip! These guys fit me in their schedule and did such a great job. I would highly recommend for tire and oil change services.
As someone who doesn't know a lot about cars, I'm always nervous going into a new auto shop. The folks at KI Maintenance never suggest anything I don't actually need, and are honest, trustworthy, and reasonably priced! The mechanics are also knowledgeable and quick, and everyone is very personable and great to chat with. I have been happily having my car serviced here for 2+ years and refuse to go anywhere else on the island!!!
I’ve used this garage several times and have always been happy with the results. Last week I Thought I was having issues with my brakes. They checked it out and it was a minor fix. They could’ve charged me a lot and I wouldn’t have known. They’re honest quick and very friendly.
Absolute best shop hands down !! Mike is the most honest mechanic I have EVER MET IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I didn't even know a "honest mechanic" existed anymore.

On the way to Ocean City in 2 cars, my MiL's Van had a tire pressure light come on (tires filled recently). This shop quickly checked and determined it was a sensor issue and safe to drive. Nice honest place.
Be careful with this business. I received a quote to do front rotors, calipers, and pads for $622. After picking up my truck I was still having issues. I took the truck back and was told my quote and invoice did not include calipers, and would cost an additional $500-$600. Having been unsatisfied, I took my truck to Western Auto and got a quote of $250 to replace both front rotors. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to invoice when I paid it. My fault.
I will never use this shop again but read you're paperwork closely so this doesn't happen to you. Western Auto on Kent Island will get all my future business.

2023: Chris and Chase were efficient, skilled, and organized getting my Scion done in about 30 minutes. I’m pleased with their customer service and their pricing, comparable to other shops that require car drop off all day for simple oil change and tire rotation. I’ll be back for new tires. They were honest when I asked about brakes wear, as I’d had that checked 3 months prior during inspection at a trusted shop. They communicated clearly and concisely. ASE certified.
Later: got those tires here! Such a good deal and done so quickly and well. Great customer service explaining tire types, maintenance, and brakes anatomy and necessity when to rotate tires and change brake pads.
2024: took a friends vintage Subaru here for diagnosing grinding on passenger rear wheel in last 6 hours. Found a faulty caliper in that one , ruined rotors and brake pads in both rear wheels. $1000 estimate. Less than other shop friend had gone to on KI and quicker! Great management customer service while I waited with my dog in the lobby and had one of their Keurig hot beverages. So easy going and outgoing here!
Nick and Mike behind the counter were super helpful and nice. When I called Mike let me know that they stop taking oil changes at 4:15. I was able to show up at 3:45 and I was out by 4:10. The service was incredibly quick and tech were nothing but professional. They noticed that one of my tires was missing a cap on the valve stem cap and replaced it free of charge. That kind of attention to detail and professionalism is extremely hard to find as was well worth what I paid. Nick was super nice to talk to and was a down to earth man that made me feel welcome and happy to have my business.

Stopped in as down on vacation and had a flat tire. They also sorted my breaks as they wobbled all the way down from NYC when breaking and an oil change all whilst we went out for the day. Really professional and excellent customer service. thankyou
Our weekend getaway began with a large screw in a tire. Called Kent Island and took care of us immediately, when everyone else we called was too busy or closed. Excellent service, very fair price and a job well done. We were very fortunate to have found Kent Island and their friendly & professional staff.

These guys killed it for me. I was 2hrs from home pulling a trailer and my service light came on and I couldn't drive above 40miles an hr on the bay Bridge. I didn't want to drive back over that way so I found these guys.
They hooked up and diagnosed the mis firing, ordered the parts and had me on my way in like an hr. Needed a tune up on.

I highly recommend Kent Island Maintenance - they are honest, friendly, and reliable. I have taken my car there several times and have always been pleased with the quality of the service. I feel comfortable asking questions and the techs explain everything. They go out of their way to help with any type of repair. The owners are super nice and welcoming, easy to talk to and willing to help. The oil changes are quick which is so convenient with a busy schedule. You won’t be disappointed!

We entered your shop in a panic on Saturday morning and happily found you not only open but willing to attend to our need to change our flat tire so we could get to the airport on time and return home to Charleston SC - not only did you change the flat tire, but you rotated it so that I was able to drive as safely as possibly with a donut on over the Bay Bridge! And you only charged a minimal fee for the emergency service which saved the day for us on our travels! Each and every one employee involved was extremely courteous and so very helpful!!
