I’m a plumber who shops at this store almost every other day because it’s the closest one to me. Despite being a Pro member, I’ve recently been denied returns—even for store credit. Whenever one of the female managers comes to help, they often seem unaware of what’s going on and provide little assistance. To make matters worse, I'm a little concerned with how some of these managers treat their female associates. I’ve overheard them making degrading and dismissive comments toward younger female employees. Because of this, I won’t be shopping at this Home Depot again.

They are ready and decked out for BOTH holidays. I love seeing the holiday displays in the stores, if I had a big enough property I’d but almost all of the cool stuff!! For all that is going on our country with the tariffs I was pleasantly surprised to see so much variety available. Outside of the holiday decor this store is always well stocked with items and always neat & clean. The things I’ve needed have always been available when I go. Great location. Kudos on the holiday decor!!

My husband & I LOVE this Home Depot. We recently moved to the area so we have needed to come here for countless projects & purchases. Every single staff member greets us, the store is clean & our 2 year old daughter has come to love our trips, too lol! Staff is so great & friendly with her. I truly do not understand the negative reviews about staffing not helping — every single time we’ve gone here, MULTIPLE staff members stop us to say hello & ask if we need help. Now, I will say we’ve gone here a handful of times & walked out empty handed because only place we can buy what we wanted is online. Disappointing but we know that’s the time we live in now.

Their inventory system is the worst. Several times I went for larger items (microwave, leaf blower, wood chipper) and it took them a really long time to find it. Usually on the top shelf yonder. Everything else is pretty good except the lumber. It's always wet. Like dripping out when you drill into it wet.

I’ve been to 15-20 Home Depots and This is the best one Ive ever been to. I’ve been here many many times for and have purchased from every department. It’s not perfect but most times can get knowledgable help quickly. It’s clean and organized and rare that I run into a worker that’s not friendly.

Needed to get keys cut and the staff went above and beyond to get it done. They found tools to disconnect my keychain, made the keys and even put my keychain back together again afterwards! A++++ service. Special kudos to Don who was super pleasant and helpful. A credit to himself and to Home Depot!

Merchandise selection could be better. I walk out empty-handed often due to the lack of inventory. When they do have what I am looking for, the prices are fair, and the checkout process is efficient.

Same as always. No one knows where anything is. No one willing to help unless you actually walk up and get their attention. That shows lack of customer awareness. This is why I shop at another competitor normally. Home Depot still has a problem with caring about the customer

This is the absolute worst store. They all move slow. I placed an order online for a battery for a tool and it took 3 hours for them to pull it off the self. Only after I went to the store and stood there for two hours at customer service desk did they finally call for someone to come to the desk.

This is one Busy Store, I’m was able to find everything that I was looking for. ASM Marlon, CXM Sam and ASM Jamie are Phenomenal, they all go out of their way to help you and make sure you leave happy. ASM Jamie should be Promoted to Store Manager, that Girl knows her stuff, she is always very Polite, Happy and my Gawd she works her tail off and takes care of the Customers and her associates. CXM Sam goes above and beyond as well for his customers and Associates, he like ASM Jamie, will stay way past their scheduled shifts to help their customers and Associates. ASM is a hard worker, always has a great attitude and will do anything and everything it takes to take care of his customers and associates. ASM Shawn has an Attitude problem and will chew and cuss out department supervisors and associates while they are on the floor.

I am a contractor and shop at this Home Depot several times a week. I have been going there for the passed 10+ years. Every employee that I have dealt with has been amazing but one. I won't name her here but she is frequently working the self checkout. I only use self checkout when I know I can checkout without needing things measured or other issues requiring a employees help. If I need that I go to Joe at the pro checkout or the pro desk. This female employee with short bleached hair has now given me problems several times at the self checkout. She has to know me, I'm there almost every morning. Most of the employees and managers know me at least by face if not by name. Today's newest experience: I am checking out with a few plumbing fittings of the PVC style. One is a 2" PVC P-Trap which is 2 pieces. Female employee asks me if I need help I say no thank you (self checkout area). I start ringing out and she comes over as says (in relation to the P-Trap) that's 2 items. I say no it's not it's a P-Trap and point to the picture on the checkout screen showing both pieces. She starts arguing the point. I say "I'm in self checkout I don't need help thanks." She continues to argue with me, I leave to go to the pro checkout where the regular guy named Joe is. Why can't I checkout in self checkout without this lady who isn't properly trained in the products, the computer system, or customer service harassing me regularly. Just let me check out already. I spend thousands in this store every week, I'm not trying to steal a $7.50 fitting. Lowe's is closer to my house anyway, might be time for a change of scenery.

I wanted to share my experience with Home Depot. There is a wonderful woman named Wanda at check out and she made the check out easy and helped out tremendously through finding a price for an item that was not marked. This was not our first experience with her as she has helped us another time as well. She is the type of person that we need more of. Thank you Wanda!

I better this particular Home Depot many times. 9 times out of 10, I get good service. But unfortunately today there was a young man in the garden Department at the cashiers that did not want to open up the door and deal with any customers I went to the young man and suggested to him that I was ready to check out. he barely opened up the door to scan my items and asked me if I wanted a bag. I said yes and had to hand him my items through the crack in the door. Not very customer friendly like. He proceeds to hand me the bag of items back through the same crack in the door. Now I might be a little understanding if it was oh, I don't know 20 30 degrees outside, but it's 55° today, a little chilly sure. But not cold enough to keep the door closed the whole time. This younger generation, I guess, just doesn't want to work they want a paycheck, but they don't want to be friendly and value a customer. I'm not quite sure if I'm going to continue going to this Home Depot we'll have to see. What a shame

I went to the Home depot in Eldersburg, Maryland this morning. I needed assistance with making a key. Steven Sego*i* (I don't want to post his entire last name) was extremely helpful. He was friendly, efficient. A+ Customer Service. You have a keeper there Eldersburg Home Depot!

Been going there for many years. Usually has what I need. I pretty much know where everything is and that's a good thing, because 90% of the time if I ask an employee for help they say it's not their Department. Only once with a very young employee did I get help finding something. He got on his phone then led me to exactly what I needed. Update! January 2025. Much better attitude there. More employees. They changed the store setup. An employee said it even confuses him. BUT he directed me to all the stuff I needed. I'm elderly. Store employees I passed kept asking me if I needed help with a smile. Wow, what an attitude change there. Don't know what the Honchos did, but I like it.

Staff started to follow me around to make sure I wasn’t stealing after I was looking at new appliances and cabinets for a home improvement I am making. One specific worker made it clear as he was peeking around the corner at me and the person I was with every 2 minutes or so. Made us uncomfortable.

I was in search of a product. Upon calling, the woman at the front desk found the item, took my name and had it at the front desk when I arrived. As I was travelling 45 minutes to get to the store, this was very much appreciated. Upon arriving, the woman at the customer service desk retrieved my item and had one of the other workers help me get it into the car. This was an A+ experience

I had placed an online order for flooring to be delivered a few days before we had someone lined up to come install it on Monday. My online order was cancelled by the Owings Mills store for no apparent reason, nobody contacted me or anything. The email just said my order was cancelled. I called for online help and the customer service person was very friendly but also had no idea why my order was cancelled. I was in a real bind since we had a deadline. I went into the Eldersburg store last Saturday morning and they were SO GREAT! They dug into the issue, figured out what was happening, found the flooring I needed, and made sure that I was taken care of. I'd give Joyce in the flooring department 10 stars if I could -- she was amazing! And the women at the customer service desk (I didn't get their names) also went above and beyond. (I would say that whenever Home Depot cancels an online order, they really should follow up with the customer and offer some explanation / solution. If the Eldersburg team had not come to my rescue, this would have been a one star review for sure.) Thanks Joyce & team - you saved the day!

Great Home Depot location. We’ve purchased all different kinds of items (lumber, lawn equipment, indoor/outdoor plants, pvc, paint, etc.) Staff have been friendly and helpful. Parking is easy.

Out of all the Home Depot's I've been to, this one is definitely good to go. Instead of being brushed off by the employees, they are actually quite helpful! The store is nice, clean and well organized. My preferred home depot for sure.

First time in this location and was impressed. Well stocked, good variety of seasonal products, neatly arranged items, friendly staff, lady at checkout helpful.

Long story but know what your getting yourself into.. One star is to good of a rating! I made returns from thermostat to four boxes of ceramic tile (heavy) and many other items. No one to help! Then upon getting my 5 lb box of sheetrock screws, 4 tubes F30 glue and 6 sheets of sheetrock. Green board was the only 1/2 they had. To begin with they were totally sold out of 4'x8'x1/2" ultralight sheet rock. OUT! How, why? Because the driver went on vacation without making the delivery. Would he still have a job anywhere else, I think not. So, I paid for all of my supplies a friend from my younger days in Sykesville was also there to get the same size drywall, 10 sheets! He and one of the home depot guys loaded it on the cart for me. Now, normally the rock costs $12.26 per sheet and due to them not having it in stock they let green board go for $10.98. I had prepaid for my sheetrock so here we go again. I had to go back to customer service and get the price corrected for them being OUT! AND this isn't the end of the story. So I wait & wait for a employee to come help load these 6 sheets of rock in my van! Nope no one came so after 10 minutes or so of waiting here I am a 56 year old lady with horrible back issues loading this sheetrock BY MYSELF. So today I'm screwed for doing anything due to the pain of loading this sheetrock. Know that this store has gotten horrible with stocking and employee assistance. Go to local businesses that can supply the same need, you may have to go back several trips and pay a few dollars more but these huge businesses don't give a damn!

This is a great story, full of very helpful staff and awesome things. I have shopped here for close to 20 years and have had very few, if any, less than good experiences. The store is stocked with a huge variety of ordinary and less than usual items for all kinds of uses. I do recommend the store.

Do not buy anything from the Home Depot other than hardware and lumber. Everything else has been so mishandled the product is no good. Numerous product moved with arrow on box wrong way which severely damages product
