My car was stranded at Walmart with a bad ignition switch (key would not enter the ignition, and on top of the, the steering wheel was in Lock mode, with the car facing the side of the building - I mention all this for a reason...).
Needing the car towed to a VW dealership, I called around and Knott's was not only the cheapest but the friendliest that I spoke to.
Tow driver John M arrived within a half-hour and set about calmly and carefully getting my car on the truck, which was no easy task, considering those factors I mentioned before - there were cars parked all around my vehicle, the steering wheel was locked, it was parked head-in facing the building, and the car could not be started. He did an excellent job, and the car was delivered safely and promptly.
NOTE - this is unrelated - if you happen to be a VW owner, and need to have your disabled car towed to a nearby VW dealer, I strongly recommend you opt for Pohanka in Salisbury before even thinking about Winner in Dover. Winner quoted me $2330, Pohanka did it for $1360.
I called about a Tow, didn't get the name of who I spoke to when I called but was treated with respect. I was informed that there would be a bit of a wait as driver was out on another call. Driver called when he was ready to go get my car. He Also was courteous and respectful both over the phone and in person.
Had my pickup towed through AAA and KNOTTS Towing arrived in under an hour. The driver was professional and courteous. Great service—highly recommend this company!
I have truly met my Angle tonight! What a pleasure John is to come to my rescue tonight! I was stranded with what I thought was major car problems! John showed up @ 711 so nice and down to earth ask me what my issue was and made me feel comfortable and happy at the end of my tow home! He went above and beyond my expectations! He even confirmed what the real issue was to my surprise! I was so so so relieved and a happy satisfied customer! Hats off to you John, you're one a million! We have a Mazda C5 which is an excellent car purchased from Preston Mazda. Something we did when parking drained the battery. Knotts Towing arrived from Mazda Road Service and they were on it right away. Very punctual and excellent customer service. Mazda is lucky to have them.
Shout out to them for denying my AAA service and making me wait 3 hours and 30° weather with no heat for another tow truck further away. Never to type to do this but it's just wrong.
These folks are just amazing. I don't have enough words to describe the superior customer service the folks can provide. Let's just say they took a really crappy day and ended it for me in the most amazing way. Absolutely a first class operation! I hope you don't need their services, but if you are east of the bay bridge and have car troubles, call these guys and let them take care of you.

My partner wrecked his car and it was towed by Knotts. They were very kind to him. He cleaned out his car and forgot the tags and 2 other items which they removed and handed to him. It may seem trivial but that kindness they showed meant a lot to him. Thank you Knotts employees!
Prompt, professional, courteous, and kind. Thank you for helping me out with my RAV4 yesterday - was having a crappy day and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone and the driver that picked up my car couldn't have been nicer and easier to work with.
Very nice place, the gos was difficult. But it is located next to a mechanic building off a small gravel road. The building is very small that they own. It is on the right side of the road if you can't find it like me. The employee was very nice and helpful:)
Was in the process of hooking up a waste management trash truck for Chambers in Delaware, one of their wreckers blocked traffic for me while I was pulling the drive shaft in the middle of dover. Thank you to the driver. Would use them if I was out in their end of town broken down.
These dudes are killing the towing game, they arrived within 20 mins of the call and they got the vehicle to the shop extremely fast. Super professional and personable customer care. Thank y’all man
The man, the myth, and the legend. Alan Knotts provided me the utmost in customer service today. I called and hung up immediately to get an address and HE called ME. He doesn't know me and we have not done business in the past. He was able to provide a very fair price and was also a pleasure to talk to on the phone. If you need local towing on the Eastern Shore of Maryland then Knotts Towing is the place to call. Thanks again Alan, enjoy your day.

Due to certain circumstances the reason I visited wasnt pleasant but the service was awesome and very accomadating along with being sensitive to our needs. Mr. Porkchop was very attentive and willing to help. Very great service. Thank you for the care you took with us.!!
They were extremely fast to tow my vehicle to my mechanic. The driver was nice and professional. The cost was much less than anticipated. Highly recommend
I had to call Knott's twice in the past month and both experiences I've had with them were great. Its not fun being broke down alone in the dark but they were really kind and polite. It made me feel much better about the whole situation. They are reasonably priced and made it out to me within the hour. I will absolutely be using them in the future.
The Knott's Towing employee was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I only had to wait 5 minutes and they had me back on the road knowing exactly what was wrong with my battery.
If you need towing, this is the place! Absolutely top knot service, really nice staff, and a really tidy and neat yard for storing! Couldn't be happier! I will be recommending to everyone I know!
Allan was so nice! I was in a bad accident and he towed my car. He was genuinely concerned for my wellbeing and was truly kind. Impressive for a one man show, i’ll make sure to recommend him to others!

I am writing this review as a public service. I am absolutely shocked how disrespectful and unprofessional this business is. The owner blatantly refused to answer the question of how much the cost of the tow and storage was for one day when I called and hung up the phone on me after insisting the times I could pick up my vehicle was a tiny 2 hour window after not answering my questions,when I arrived at the designated time he insisted upon he claimed to be ten minutes away and finally pulled up 45 minues later upon arrival I was sitting in the driveway and as he got out of his truck he insulted my husband and myself when my husband asked if he could accompany me into the locked gate to get the vehicle, he responded with, "you better not leave her out here in my driveway because I don't want her" in reference to myself. I was so dumbfounded by being treated like an unwanted piece of trash let alone a human being by the owner of a public business. I would advise that anyone who needs a tow "knot"subject themselves to such treatment like this.
My husband was in a car accident and Knotts towing came to the rescue. They took care of us every step of the way and made it known they were here to serve us. Alan and the staff are super friendly and they make you feel like you have known them forever. I would recommend them to anybody. Thank you again Alan for a great experience!
