Greatest service ever! We got towed and unfortunately couldn’t find any taxi drivers to take us to get our car back, so we called the towing company and the owner, Ben, gently offered us to come pick us up! He’s our saviour! I highly recommend xxx

Professionalism is unmatched. Any time we have issues with cars parking at my business that don’t belong their Charlie Bs is so efficient and quick to remove them. One time he removed a car that was actually supposed to be there and instead of charging us for the mistake he just brought the vehicle back at no charge.

I had two junkers I needed towed off, Ben is the man. He communicated what to expect, when he would be there, and pricing, which he delivered on all accounts. He will always be my go to guy for anything towing related! Thanks again!

I got in an accident in Portland and totaled my car. I called Ben and he was there in 15 minutes and even brought me home. I am still learning how to properly work with insurance companies and he was quick to give me advice and just be a genuine kind person. I could not recommend him enough!

I had an accident outside Portland Maine hitting a deer and writing off my car. Accident happened at 11:50 pm , Charlie B's was great, took our car and dropped us at hotel. Next day made himself available so we could remove articles from our car. He was very caring and I cannot say enough good things about Ben.

I was involved in an accident recently and my car got totaled out. Ben got there quick and took my car from the scene but before he left he asked if I was okay and talked to me about my next steps. He went above and beyond and out of his way even to help me out even after the accident. He is very reliable and always answers his phone. I can confidently say I wouldn’t have been able to get through this situation without Ben. He genuinely cares about the people that use his services and helps them out as much as he possibly can. I am more than great full for Ben and everything he has done for me through out this stressful process. I am not from this area but I will definitely recommend him to anybody in need around here!!

I’ve been using Ben at Charlie B’s for years! He’s always prompt and courteous. Besides having personal vehicles, I also own a commercial diesel truck. Every once in a blue moon it has a hard time starting. Ben’s very mechanically inclined, and knows all about the dual battery set up, and the diesel fuel pump. He got is started when AAA couldn’t. I’d recommend Ben and Charlie B’s towing every time!

I recently had an accident in Scarborough where my car was totaled. Ben from Charlie B's was there on the scene and first and foremost was making sure I was ok and that my vehicle got where it needed to be. He also followed up afterwards to make sure I didn't have any questions and I knew what I should be doing at that point. I can't say enough how much I appreciated his assistance and the fact that he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

So this morning when I was on Commercial Street heading to drop the boys off for wrestling practice I blew a tire right as I was passing the Landry/French construction site. Pretty sure it was one of their nails 😠 but that’s another story for another time. This post is about how awesome our local tow driver was! Charlie B’s towing & recovery. While the other companies in the area had no shame about charging me $200-$250 to go one mile down the road Charlie B’s was a fair price at $100. Not only that but he was in the middle of a couple other projects and made it to our rescue in under an hour. That never happens in my experience with needing a tow. His son was super cute in the front seat when they pulled in, smiling and waving at us like a little knight in shining armor coming to our rescue. I definitely won’t ever need to call anyone else if I’m in a pinch. I’m betting I probably would pay more for a roadside assistance service. To top it off he graciously helped us out with an Uber home. It’s just truly refreshing to know there’s still a lot of good people out there. Definitely a 5 star business!

Ben was amazing! Called him on Christmas eve to tow my daughters car that broke down in the walmart parking. He was there with in 30 mins. What a life saver!!

Sorry to mention this but Charlie B's towing came out did a good job but then he did a quick hand movement and I ended up short $20. Be careful for people like this. It's not a good feeling to be short-changed and it's not funny

Tried to overcharge me the city's set rates and charge me extra days. I would not recommend this company for any services. Also very rude customer service unwilling to do what's right. The police department was required to call and correct his predatory ways. Beware of low life scammers like this. Edit::To the response, I am very concerned after finding out the owners history of scams and run in with the law surprised any police department would use this towing service. To anyone reading this don't be intimidated by scammers or anyone trying to take advantage of your situation or any ended ended threats.

Ben was absolutely amazing throughout my entire experience with them. He went above and beyond to help me after my accident and even assisted in matters he didn't have to. Such a great human being! I recommend this company to everyone in need of honest and reliable services. Thank you Ben !

I broke down up in Falmouth after my serpentine belt let go. I called AAA because I had a membership. They couldn't give my an estimate regarding timeframe. Luckily the receiving shop that I was having my truck towed to gave me a local referral if I was interested in 'expediting' the process. Ben answered when I called and was understanding of my dilemma and that the rest of my trip hinged upon getting my truck fixed. He dropped what he was doing to came straight away. Great guy, great company for the tow; Thank you Ben, I would recommend you to anyone!

I cannot sing enough praises of praises for my experience with Charlie b's towing in recovery today, needed a tow during the storm and knew most companies would at-best drop it off in the driveway and wouldn't even attempt getting my car in the garage, especially with the driveway being at a decent incline... why the garage you ask? Well, I have a full car lift and all the tools a professional shop would have sitting right in there, meaning I could fix the issue without getting hammered by labor costs. Well, besides the fact every tow company said no due to the storm and already being too busy, Charlie B's was both able and willing - even showed up a few minutes early from the estimated time (and kept me updated in-between). As soon as he arrived, he said it w was totally possible to get it dropped into my garage and I thought to myself - Jesus Christ almighty is this a christmas miracle in the making? Long story short, and no small amount of effort by Charlie B's, I'm looking at my car sitting right in the garage and am dusting off my car so I can get to work on repairing it. This was definitely one hell of a going above and beyond scenario, and Charlie B's definitely went above and beyond - thanks my man you saved me a lot of stress and frustration - 6/5 stars to you.

Ben was great. He came out to find us after my car broke down. Even though it was a bit further than he expected, he still honored the price he quoted to us on the phone. He was courteous and concerned with our safety, telling us to get in the cab of the truck immediately because the side of the highway, in the rain, in the dark, was unsafe. Would absolutely recommend Charlie B's- they are a friendly face when you're in a stressful spot.

After waiting 3 hours for AAA to not show up we called ben at Charlie B's towing and he said he would be there in 20 mins, he arrived in 15 and had the car unlocked in less then 60 seconds. great and professional service. Thank you Ben!!!

Great service! Arrived to my location in around 20 minutes. Ruled out battery issue and diagnosed starter as the culprit after efforts to get my truck going. Went the extra mile unloading and setting up my stroller for me with kids and all our earthly possessions in tow. Good communication - took my truck to my preferred repair shop and called to let me know the job was done.
