I could not believe how fast he got there to tow. My vehicle took no time at all fast, friendly and courteous definitely or recommend. In the future if needed my driver Steve was the best!

This place is the best!! My car is nearing the end of its life, so I’ve been dealing with more breakdowns. They are always super responsive when I request a tow and I have never waited more than 30 mins. Everyone is friendly and they take great care of you. I have towing through insurance, but I call AMS directly and they provide me a receipt for reimbursement. Prices are very fair. I’ll literally never use another towing service as long as I’m in their service area.

AAA sent out a tow truck AMS showed up got me off the highway quickly. Rode with the driver to my shop I use. love AAA and thanks to these guys for getting me

UPDATE: My apologies I don't remember his name I had a blow out in my tire. I was stuck and a guy was there in 20 minutes. Thank you again I made it home to wells.

I called AAA and they sent out AMS Towing. Steve was super nice, very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He got my vehicle to the shop and even sent me photos once it was dropped off. Great work give this guy a raise!

A bad situation turned into a good one. My vehicle was towed for being parked in a restricted EV-only spot at my apartment. I called to see if they had my vehicle, and they did. I was shocked in a good way that they were nearby, came to pick me up, and brought me to the shop where I was able to get my car back. Great place, great people. I will definitely use them again in the future if needed.

I had a very poor experience with this towing company. My vehicle was towed from a parking garage where I pay for monthly parking. During a snowstorm, all general parking spots were full, so I parked in a reserved space. I have a wheelchair on my veteran plates so clearly I have mobility issues getting around. After the tow, I was initially quoted approximately $250 to retrieve my vehicle. After I left a one-star review, the price was increased to around $400, and I was told the original price would be honored only if I removed my review. This raised serious concerns about business practices. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the facility and staff appeared unprofessional. I would not feel comfortable using this company for a late-night or emergency tow. I also contacted the company the same day to ask why another vehicle parked in the same reserved area had not been towed. I was told the vehicle belonged to the person I spoke with, and the call was ended. This suggested inconsistent enforcement of parking rules. Also the fact is I searched up that reserved parking spot because I guess a company pays monthly for it. Found not company what so ever called that. Which gives off majors red flags given that I pay monthly for parking and there were no available spots during a winter storm, the situation felt unreasonable and poorly handled. Based on my experience, I would recommend using a different towing service.!!!

Great customer service from start to finish! Chris, was absolutely amazing, professional, friendly and clearly someone who cares about his customers. He made a stressful situation so much easier and went above and beyond to help. I highly recommend this company and would use them again!

Noah was so patient with the my car issues. He made the whole experience less stressful. Super fast service with going through AAA and them giving me an estimate time of 60 min. Noah was at my rescue within 15 min! And I would also like to thank the gentleman who helped unlock my car when I accidentally locked the keys in it as Noah was trying to get my car towed. ? I didnt get his name but he also was super helpful with everything! Highly recommended!

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! Steve stopped to help us change a flat tire out and saved our day! I have no idea what we would’ve done without him. Thank you so so much for your kindness, we are so grateful!!

Steve was awesome!! I needed air in my tires...am handicapped and am unable to do it. He was here within minutes after I called. Very polite...quick to fill the tires...thank you! I really appreciate Steve's help!

My car broke down during at really stressful time and AMS was the cheapest in my area, I was skeptical at first because of the price but they were absolutely wonderful to work with. I wish I remembered the name of the man that helped me with my car because he was a great first impression to the company. He went above and beyond by getting my car into my garage and making sure I knew it was safe.

Great experience overall. I called for towing service and received a return call within 1-2 minutes. The driver was personable and friendly, and worked with efficiency. He was able to come to my location within 3 minutes, got my car out of its parking spot, and lifted within a few minutes and towed to their service center all within about 20 minutes of calling. Great service overall and very friendly from all employees.

We had motorcycle breakdown in Biddeford the afternoon of 4th of July. We called Steve at AMS towing He arrived at our destination, loaded the bike and delivered it to the Harley shop in Portland. All in under an hour and a half. Steve was great! Prompt, professional and courteous! Thanks for helping us out on a holiday! Highly recommend AMS towing!

Our car was broken down on the side of the road. We were initially told an hour but Steve Herron called within 15 minutes told me he had to drop off then he would be there it took maybe a total 20 minutes . He dropped our car off at the dealership and texted me a picture of the car there for confirmation. Great communication, very nice gentleman and very professional. Can’t thank him enough.

Just the other day I was headed to work when my serpentine belt thought it was time to call it quits. I pulled over on route 111 (Great road to break down on). Called AMS Towing for a tow and in 15 minutes they were there and getting my car hooked up. Towed the car back to my house. Great service and for a fair price.

I unfortunately had to get my car towed to the shop as it was experiencing a mechanical issue. Steve from AMS Towing called me to give me an ETA. I was able to get a ride home from my husband while Steve picked up my car and towed it to my trusted mechanic. He sent me text messages with pictures and videos of my car so I knew what was happening. If you are ever in a pinch and need a call, please reach out to AMS Towing.

AMS Towing has handled all of my towing needs for many years. They have towed my McLaren 720S Spider to Mass for service. He’s towed my Ferrari 458 to the body shop for minor PPF correction. He’s towed my 1957 T- Bird from its place of purchase to my personal car storage. Steve, the owner gave me a ride home one Sunday night and towed my Porsche 911 Turbo S when I lost my key shopping at Kohls. Bottom line, I trust my car collection to AMS towing. They are the best and they are pros!!

Saturday night during the snow storm this company tried towing my truck from a parking lot I paid for my vehicle to be in. I’m not from Biddeford, I was just working in the area and didn’t realize this parking lot fell in the parking ban. I even tried explaining this to them. My vehicle was not even loaded on to the flat bed of the truck. I was hitting my key fob to make the lights go off WHILE they were still getting it hooked up. It was late at night, I was by myself surrounded by MULTIPLE UNMARKED towing trucks and a bunch of men and the guy in charge said I had to pay him $100 to have my truck unhooked… I have never been in a more uncomfortable position being by myself, late at night, IN A SNOW STORM, and the guy in charge felt the need to be on a power trip. There was ONE gentleman there who was definitely not in charge, but the only one decent enough to hear me out because I was getting upset by the situation. I hope he works for a different company because I would NOT want to be associated with this one. There are plenty of other towing companies in southern Maine that aren’t out to take advantage of people. Edit in reply to the owner: In this particular situation it wouldn’t have been appropriate for me to go around and ask what everyone’s pronouns are. So it does not change the fact that I FELT like I was in a parking lot surrounded by a bunch of men in the middle of the night. I’m not one to ever post reviews however in this situation it felt necessary. If the owner wasn’t the one on scene, I would definitely look into whoever was in charge because he seems bad for business. Yes I was upset, there was an unmarked tow truck hooking up my brand new truck in a parking lot I paid to be in. I already took accountability for missing the sign. I also didn’t realize a parking lot would allow me to pay for it in a parking ban. My truck wasn’t on the bed, and you continued to take advantage of people and charge $100 while they’re standing right there to move their vehicle. I understand paying to have the vehicle unhooked, but $100 is steep for the situation. You don’t have to like my review, but it seems like something people should be aware of.

AMS towing has been top notch. I’ve had an unlucky streak with my car lately but Steve and his crew have been nothing short of amazing. Very professional and helpful and always willing to go the extra mile for all their customers. There isn’t a single Tow company I will be using or recommending besides AMS. After my car was towed following an accident, it was taken to the impound lot. Initially, I wanted to bring it back home, but they guided me through the process and recommended a body shop. I'm really glad I followed their advice! My car was repaired and returned to me even before the shop my insurance suggested could assess it. I highly recommend AMS Towing!
