Great experience from start to finish. I brought my car into Champion Auto Body for a small repair and they handled it right away. I was really impressed with the care they put into a small job and how nice everyone was… from front desk to auto body professional. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again.
Highly recommend these guys. We had extensive bodywork and upgrades done by them to our Mercedes Sprinter camper van. All of it came out perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff too.

After visting several auto repair shops (all of whom indicated that a rusted screw that is fastening the license plate for some 20 years could not be removed easily and may even require a replacement of the whole bumper to get behind a plate), the guts at Champion Auto Body took on look at the situation and said it would be quickly removed in about 15 minutes. Indeed the guys at Champion are very knowledgeable and professional and took the time to assess the situation and delivered on what they said they would in a quick and efficient manner. Thank you Champion.
I went in to have a tail light replaced that had been damaged. They said they’d order the part the same day, however three weeks later the part still hasn’t come. A couple days later it showed up, but it was the wrong part because they had failed to notice my taillights were not stock. About 4 years ago I had a rusted fender that I wanted fixed and the same problem occurred where they had trouble locating the part and ended up waiting longer than expected. I’m sure this is not a common issue but having experienced it on two different occasions 4 years apart leaves me with a subpar experience
Champion did a great job on my 944. They were recommended to me by a friend and they did a great job! Will take any other body shop work there in a heartbeat.
Just picked up my motorhome from Champion and they have done an amazing job. It looks awesome. They completed it sooner than promised and their quote was spot on. They didn't try to put in a higher quote than what the cost would be like some shops. For that matter, the insurance adjuster quote was slightly higher than their estimate. Not many shops handle large motor homes, so they could have gouged if they wanted to, but they didn't and were honest. I would highly recommend them.
Takes to many short cuts! Treats their employees like garbage. Lingers jobs in front of people with full offers so people don’t take other jobs and then “decides to go in another direction”. If you can go elsewhere, you should. All they care about is $$$!!
I would give the company a Ten if I could. Chad, Luke and the whole body shop team is just "A" one quality and service. I could not be any happier. I had some body work done on my cab on my pick up. Plus I had the bed rails replaced. They do it all the time. Nobody in the area with work or fixing the rails. Thank you for all your hard work!

Needing auto body work can be a difficult and frustrating process. Dealing with a crash. Lost use of transportation. Champion Auto Body is amazing. They make the process as straight forward as possible and managed all of the paperwork with my insurance company. All I had to do was drop off my car, then pick it up when it was done. I don't believe there are many body shops in Maine that have the ability to work on motorhomes and was very fortunate to learn about Champion Auto Body. They are a personable, energetic group of professionals led by their owner Chad that appear to enjoy what they do and are quick to meet and ask what they can do to help you. I will admit to be a bit discriminating when it comes to my motorhome but the work they did was as well done as the manufacturer had done in my travels to their facilities in CT and Red Bay, AL without the hassles of the extended travel, scheduling difficulties and arrogance of a high end company and dealership network. I am very happy to write this review and highly recommend Champion based on the excellent results and the people that produced them.
Time will tell how the rust patch they repaired holds but I couldn't be happier with how my door looks or the fact that they removed some stubborn tree sap stains when they washed my car. I wasn't expecting that and I'm really pleased.
I have had a few areas of rust addressed by the folks at Champion Auto. The body panel just in front of the drivers side rear wheel being the most recent. The steel panel was rusting from the inside and the whole lower section of the panel was covered by bubbly rust spots. All the problem metal was removed and replaced good as new. Previous work completed by Champion came in at the estimated price and this repair came in under estimate. The staff are all laid back and easy to work with. If the New England winters are getting the best of your vehicle, this is the place to go to get it fixed.
We were traveling into Audrel ME to visit bentley’s well we broke down on our motorcycle and didn’t have wire cutters or wire that we needed to fix the bike...the wonderful lady at the front desk went and found someone that could get what we needed and get back on the road! Thanks for the great hospitality and help when we really needed it!! Had to post this from an out of towner that need help! Thanks again!!!
We had a minor car accident while on vacation in Kennebunkport which resulted in significant body damage. Chad was extremely kind, courteous, efficient, and went above and beyond to help us; his receptionist was also extremely friendly. What a pleasure it was to meet them and a blessing to have found this body shop. We cannot recommend this business more highly.
The best experience I've ever had regarding my vehicle. Was quoted at 1k less than Moody's and when the final bill came around it was 300 less than quoted. They even buffed out a 10 inch deep scratch on my dad's truck for free when I came to pick up my vehicle. Amazing prices, amazing quality and amazing people.
I called these folks after calling Moody’s auto body. They also wouldn’t engage in a discussion on a price range to repair door scratches. They wouldn’t engage in a conversation about how their prices typically fare vs. insistence deductibles. They didn’t try to reel me in. The person who answered seemed like a robot who was programmed to say we need to see the car and that’s it.
The best very helpful real team effort from start to finish. Would recommend anyone I know to have Chad Jennifer and the team take care of your needs !
I usually don't do review. I am very demanding on quatlity of work. After speaking with owner, i trust them and bring my car for a custom hood work (install and painting). What a job!! OMG, my wife and I could not beleive of they work!!
