I called Want It Gone the day of a big move and was sure it wouldn’t be enough notice for them to come help, but the woman (owner I believe) who answered was so kind, helpful, informative, and responsive. She sent a crew out to help my partner and I with the job and they arrived when they said they would. The crew was so kind. They helped us move larger items and even provided bags to collect smaller items before loading them into the truck. The three of them did a great job. We really couldn’t have had a better experience working with them. HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for help!

Valerie was a pleasure to speak with and was very accommodating to squeeze us in during the holiday weekend ..... The guys arrived on time and were so helpful in assisting us, they even offered larger garbage bags AND they swept the space when they were finished ..... So thankful and highly recommend them!
Great company and great guys that showed up, it was pouring rain and all 3 of the guys still had smiles on their faces. Called around noon and next day they were there. I forgot about some tires when I called in and was able to add them in no problem when they were there. Will definitely use again when I have more stuff I need removed.

This is a family business. They are personal and extremely helpful. From Valerie in the office providing estimates to Logan, Colby and friend Derek who "get the job done"- they are all exceptional. I had a significant amount of junk that need to be re.ived. They provided an estimate on my first call and scheduled the date and time. I got a text the morning they were coming. They were courteous, respectful and efficient. It was consistent with the estimate. I would call them again and am recommending them for others!
Valerie was very responsive by text, answered all my many questions and scheduling was easy. Rates were reasonable and actually, $100 cheaper than my first quote! Logan and his crew did the junk pick up, and he was fast, friendly and professional. It was a fairly small job compared to some, but they still were able to schedule me just a few days out. Will use them from now on anytime I need something hauled away. And they are a local, family owned business (of course, you can tell by their customer service!) which is even better knowing I’m spending my money here in Maine!

I live in Bar Harbor. I needed a large couch/sleeper removed and taken to a dump. I contacted them via their website. They immediately got back to me, quoted a reasonable price,

Got the number from a worker where we had purchased a new couch wanted the old one gone and a few other items texted them on sat they were put on Monday morning very easy fast and amazing service!! From start to finish !! Texts when on way pics of before n after!! Amazing crew def recommend!

I was in a jam and needed a mattress picked up. I called thinking that I would be scheduled out a bit however, I was scheduled in for an hour later! The price was great, I was informed of when they showed up and left (complete with pictures) and then was sent a really nice thank you message after they left. My house is now a "want it gone" household. I will never use another company again. Thank you guys for being so quick, efficient and kind!
What a pleasure it was working with this company! Our job wasn't huge but it was important to us, and Want It Gone came out the morning after we called. Their courteous and professional staff stayed in contact letting us know when they'd be here, and handled the job quickly and for a very reasonable price, even when we added a bunch of last minute things that weren't in the original estimate. It's all the more remarkable considering how many companies these days won't even call you back or show up within six months, to have Want It Gone perform with such professionalism and competence was such a welcome experience. These are people with integrity and it shows. I highly recommend their services and will definitely use them again next time we need them.
UPDATE: A couple of months later we needed them again, and they deserve another five star review but I don't seem to be able to post a second review so I'm updating this one. Last time I was so pleased they came out the next day - this time they just happened to be finishing up a job nearby, so they were pulling into my driveway literally twenty minutes after I called. Now, it's not reasonable to expect response times you can measure with a stopwatch every time you call them, but the point is these are good people who do a good job, quickly, courteously, and professionally, every time, for a reasonable price. Can't say enough good things about them! Another five star review - that makes ten stars so far!
“Want it Gone” does an amazing job! They are efficient and completely professional. After getting back to you quickly, you receive a quote. They are able to schedule you fairly quickly and always arrive on time if not sooner (after keeping you up to date on their estimated arrival via text). They are super efficient in packing and loading up your stuff. I have used them multiple times and highly recommend them!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend Want it Gone! I called last Friday to get an estimate on cost and time ; the price was very reasonable and today is Tuesday and the job is done! I was moving far away....as I packed i realized I had WAY too much stuff that i didnt need. I saw a post on my local neighborhood group for this company. I called and had one of the best customer service experiences ever.
From the moment I spoke with Valerie in the office, I knew I was in good hands. She was very kind and clear in her communication and had me text her a photo of my shed that needed clearing...in minutes she had a fair quote and I left the phone call with no questions.
Logan arrived once I had already went out of town and cleared my shed in a super timely manner. He texted me the photos I've attached.
BTW: These guys swept it after they were done, and the entire time communicated through text with me. Hands down one of the best small businesses in the area. Trust in their team and make your life easier.

They are very easy to talk to and work with. They are polite, professional, hard-working, timely, and communicate very well. They worked with us to do exactly what we needed and called to review at the end of the first day. They did a whole house clean out for us and did an amazing job. I expected to have to clean up after they got everything out, but they even did that! We could not have asked for anything better. I highly recommend them for any job.!
Can’t say enough about what a great job these folks did. They didn’t just dismantle the pool and haul it off - but raked the area when done and left no trace. They came to Surry in a week - and finished the job in about 90 minutes. Colby was a great guy and is so conscientious - he & Larry did a wonderful job and Valerie was a pleasure to work with. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
