The axel and wheels came off our trash can SIX WEEKS ago and still hasn’t been replaced/repaired despite calling five times. I also requested a letter to pass on to our HOA, as they are frustrated as well, and also for a manager to call me. To date, I have received nothing. No call, no email to forward to my HOA and still no repaired/replaced trash can. If I performed my job the way these people perform theirs, I’d have been fired a long time ago. Pathetic.

Been nearly 30 days since I paid for service and they haven’t even dropped off a can for me to use. Everytime I call the goal post for drop off is pushed back. 8-10 days, then 10-15, then 15-20. Not sure what I paid them to do this month.

For two weeks, one of my two herbies has not been dumped. I do not owe this company a dime. They hold the cans 4 feet or better from the ground and then drop them, which is most likely why one of my herbies is missing the lid. The lid has been missing since we moved here and no one will ever answer the phone or call me back. They don’t even know that we live here! And I would also like to know why a truck will come by and dump one can and leave another one? Not just mine, either. Then, three more trucks are on Owenton Road at the same time! The absolute worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! One star is far too much!!

If I could have not clicked a star to leave a review, I wouldn’t have. They didn’t pick up my trash last week. When I called I was told there won’t be another pick up this week and there won’t be a credit made to my account. And how crazy is it that it doesn’t sound crazy to Melanie.

This is SECOND time my trash has not been picked up. Central Ky Hauling is receiving my payment through direct withdrawal, so they are getting paid. Messages left for Amy Bryant go unanswered! Central Ky Hauling charges extra for an additional garbage can pick up , but I am supposed to keep two weeks of rubbish ?! Unsanitary, unprofessional, unreliable service! No wonder a 1.6 rating !! Ms Bryant……. Do your job!!

I live across from a business that uses this service in a downtown area and a very narrow street separates me and the business. Repeatedly for a year or more they violated the noise ordinance by collecting garbage at 3, 4, or 5am. Since the street is so narrow it requires the truck to pull up, back up, pull up, back up for 10-15 min. All while the truck is revving and beeping. Then the banging and clanging of collecting the huge dumpster (not garbage cans). Then repeat the backing up, pulling up, backing up, revving and beeping. This all happens directly outside my window. I contacted the company a few months ago after seeing the logo on the truck informing them I'm going to start filing noise complaints. I couldn't take it anymore. They first tried to deny it was them and said it was a city truck. I informed them I had pictures and why would I contact some random company I have never heard of if it was a city truck? Someone then emailed back saying they spoke to the GM and would change the route to accommodate the noise ordinance. It seemed ok for a couple weeks, now it is back to what it was but WORSE. Now the truck comes 2x in a single night. The first they just do the pull up (revving), back up (beeping) over and over, then come back an hour later (just as I'm finally falling asleep) to do the back up/forward thing all over, then empty the dumpster, back up/ forward all over again. Now I'm losing TWO hours of sleep. I bought $50 ear plugs and they don't help. It sounds like I have an air compressor that beeps inside my apartment. I have tried emailing back, but they are now not responding. I'm over it and will now be reporting every violation of the noise ordinance. My sleep has been affected for over a year and I tried resolving it with them for months. If they would have done what they said, and changed the route this would be moot. If they respond here and say they did, it's not true. Just look at their Better Business Bureau page.

Zero stars is too good for them. Terrible people, terrible service, and then you pay a bill to not get you trash picked up after you take time to place the approved can exactly where they say it needs to be. And when you call they never give a straight answer. Biggest waste management scam since Tony Soprano. I'd rather load garbage in my jeep and haul it myself and pay a dump fee. At least then the job would get done and I'd be out only a fraction of the cost!

If I could put zero for them I would be. Not sure if they’re under new management or if their management has gone full Biden (never go full Biden) but I’ve used the same garbage company for three years. That will soon be changing. I had paid for them to pick up 2 garbage cans one of them being my personal one that I went and bought when I first bought my home just for them. Now they are saying they won’t pick up my personal can. I’m sure they won’t pay me back for the $100 I spent so long ago because of them but I can promise they are losing customers with their increased prices and screwing over customers that’s been with them for a while. The best I can do is discourage future customers from using them.

My 5stars is in reference to the customer service I received from Emily on the phone. I work out of town and I don’t always get my bins out to the road and then I wait all week making sure to conserve available space lol. This time I did and they missed me by accident. I called and Emily was SUPER friendly, understanding, and just wonderful! She’s an asset to this company! Best customer service skills that I have seen in years!!! Thanks Emily!! And may God Bless all that reads this review!

Would give 0 stars if available hands down worst trash service I have ever had in 50 years. They raised the bill from 10 a month to 18 a month so they would start back to taking 2 cans and still only taking 1. They are never on schedule always leaving a can and not dumping it and making a mess and leaving it and expecting a family of 6 to only use 1 trash can which is not suffice when 3 of them are children. They need to shut their doors They are a horrible excuse for a company if we had any other choice they would be gone.

If I could give zero stars I would. We used to be able to have two trash cans--one issued by the company, and another personal can here at Adams Pointe in Richmond, Now they are only allowing ONE can and it has to be the one they issued--PLUS our lot rent was raised $35.00 a month--allegedly to pay even higher fees for trash pick up. So we are getting scammed for even more money, while receiving less service.

I once gave them a 1 star because we had a garbage man that was a crybaby. He would take pictures of our trash if the top was open an inch. He once took pictures of my mailbox and told the trash company it was trash. All the dude would do is cry. The man that is in his place now is great. He does an awesome job. The reason for the 3 stars is that they do not provide as good service as Rumpke once did. I doubt that will change because the city when making the contract with the company does not think about the citizens that have to use this service. For that reason, this company does not have to give us better services because they know they are protected.

Yesterday the wind blew over my trashcan and I picked it up and put it back in the street. The truck was a few houses down picking up garbage so I sat outside waiting for them to come along and pick up my trash. You know what they didn't do? If you guessed pick up my trash you would be correct! They drove right on by with me sitting there. So I called them and my account is good through March and they told me that they would call back after figuring out what went wrong. Just guess what they also didn't do. I've had enough of this and I don't know who I have to talk to in the county but I'm going to make it my mission in life to get some other company to come collect our garbage!

Well as for Service they have always been here in Shiloh Point in Madison County on time every week and are VERY Quite picking up our container every morning around 4-5 AM. I'm very satisfied with them except the Fuel Recovery charge which was added by no fault of theirs, thanks to the Biden Administration!

Missed the garbage pick up again. This is the only company I’ve ever seen that prefers one star over five. At least they are consistent. Probably not the best business model to emulate the object of the service you’re paid to remove. I doubt any of the negative reviews will motivate this company to clean up their act, unless someone in charge starts caring about their customers.

Worst trash service in KY. These clowns have a monopoly so they don't care about service. They constantly miss pickups, don't pick up all the cans, and now I'm missing a can. I guess the guy broke or dropped it in the truck. I called and they weren't willing to get a statement credit or anything. I wish we had Rumpke in Nicholasville. So much better. Hopefully the monopoly they have ends soon.

It took them ages to update their website regarding weather related services disruption. While I agree with the decision not to send drivers out in dangerous conditions, they did very little to communicate with customers. However they continued to collect payments and offered no discount for services not rendered. Jessamine county choosing this company over Rumpke reeks of cronyism.

I seriously wish there ANY other company but this one. I would happily go back to the rumpkee service I grew up with. At least once every few months (it usually happens more) the truck “gets full” and they don’t pick up our trash nor will they come back and get it. Our autopay has been cancelled at least three times due to mistakes made by the office which has also led to our trash not getting collected. Half the time they don’t even do what they’re supposed to but will shut off your service if you’re a second late with payment. I hope Nicholasville gets someone else eventually because this company is a shitshow.

I can’t say enough good about my parents garbage collector, Ronnie. I would give him 5 stars however the main office I would give 0 stars. We ordered an extra can in May which we did not receive then reordered in August which we just now received. We were given a can that looks as though it’s been ran over. We asked for another can and have got the run around! Nothing they say that is going to happen happens. It truly is a shame that we don’t have another option for trash pickup!

It's a real shame when literally EVERY OTHER COMPANY during this time has waived late fees and certainly not disconnected service over a $31 bill. On top of that I called when my trash wasn't picked up last week to find out why, I was told someone was parked in front of my trash can and it couldn't get picked up. Nothing about my bill being 2 days, 2 days late. This company is money hungry and I look forward to when the city can take new bids because these people are snakes. On top of their terrible service they have also closed their local dump on weekends and increased the rates at the dump nearly double.

I’ve had problems with this company from day one but there aren’t any alternatives in our immediate area, now I call and just simply ask to exchange two garbage carts because they are over 6 years old and falling apart and to the point were they’re not cleanable any more and they simply just tell me no they will not under any circumstances; exchange them. It was laughable actually. So I said, what if I cancel my service for one week, you pick the trash cans up and then I request new service; then will I get new trash cans dropped off. Response: well...yes... CRAZY

Last week they skipped over half of our street. Bills were sent out the week before with the date of the 10th as the must be paid by. Okay. Fine. I could have paid it that day but I chose to wait. They didn’t pick up our trash last Tuesday the 5th. Okay whatever. They skipped the majority of our street. Didn’t call. Figured it had something to due with Corona. My husband paid the bill yesterday. They didn’t pick up our trash again today. He called and the lady preceded to tell him that our whole street has their accounts locked, which is obviously not true and because he didn’t pay it at a convenient time for them yesterday and they already had their route sheets printed off we would have to wait until next week to have our trash picked up.

As I look at all the reviews about CKH I have to also agree that this company is one of the worst company I have ever seen , We was told that they would bring us a Herbie in 5 days after 5 days then was told it will be 10 day ,10 days past called supervisor was told they would send someone out with one 5 more days has past still No Herbie.... What a people need to do is stop paying the bill until they get good service ,Then maybe they would improve their services . Jessamine County needs to do reviews on companies before they agree to go into a contract with them just to save a dime .

The WORST hauling company I have EVER dealt with. I have been in the business for over 40 years and have never encountered a company as bad at following instructions or living up to their promises. Dumpster was delivered 4 1/2 hours LATER then its stated delivery time and was removed 6+ hours PRIOR to its scheduled removal causing MAJOR issues at the job. They were given two (2) days advance notice, and could not complete the task as requested. Customer service and sales are unresponsive and do not return calls or emails. I only gave them one (1) star because it would not allow me to give NO STARS.

HORRIBLE!!!! Every time I've scheduled a larger pick up, half if not all of it gets left! This has happened 3 times!! As far as regular trash pickup goes, they've left our cart full on a few occasions as well. When they do pickup the garbage they leave litter all over the street and in peoples yards. I've really had it with the drivers. The people in the office are great, but the drivers just do whatever they feel.

Hands down the worst trash pick up service I have ever dealt with in my life! I paid for our services over three weeks ago. I still DO NOT have a can. How can you be so "behind" on delivering cans? Do you not have someone in charge of this? We have had to pile trash in our garage. It's disgusting. They've only picked up once (we sat it outside in a huge box) We cannot sit our trash curbside, in bags, over night because of stray dogs. And the pick up is before we even wake up at 5am! No one can tell me when the cans I paid for will be delivered and they will not give me a credit for the near month we've went without cans/services that we paid for. There has to be another option in Nicholasville!

Worst company I've ever had to deal with. Promised and promised to come bring another empty container and never did, although they had no problem charging my credit card for it. Finally cancelled the order and had to fight with them to get my money refunded and for them to come get their full container. Would never use them again under any circumstances. Sharon is one of the ladies who answer the phone. She's the ONLY person who did anything to help me. She should be running the place since she's the only competent person there.

In Jessamine Co we used to have Rumke Trash collection services. They most always did a great job of pick up and sometimes if you forgot to set the carts to the street, they were kind and would come up to the house and get them for you. I know that is the exception for general pickup services. However, with Central KY Hauling, they do nothing for you other than pick up and most times they will skip you. I never get an explanation why they don't pick up, but I have been missed every other week since early June. When I call about it they tell me they don't know why I was missed, they don't have that info but they will check but if I want them to come get it I'll have to pay $24.00 extra for special pick up. I can't afford the extra money and I shouldn't have to, especially when I've done what they require. Saying that, they will always find a reason that makes it my fault I was missed. Two weeks ago it was because my daughters car was parked too close and the auto arm couldn't pick up the cans. Heaven forbid they get out of the truck and mive the cans down a few feet so they could be picked up! I am so sorry Nicholasville changed services from Rumpke to this company. I can't give Central KY Hauling greater than a 1 at this time. The office staff is nice enough even though they are no help when there are issues.

I have lived in a fifth of the US. I have never once had to complain about garbage pick up. This company has what should be an illegal monopoly in the area. Evidently, they won a singular contract to perform garbage service in our community. We built a forever home there, over eleven months we have had to call 5 times about non/incomplete service. We have gotten notes not to leave anything (including a clean empty flat screen tv box) next to, on top of or anything raising the lid to the trash receptacle. Even when we comply 100% with their demands, we STILL cannot get the trash removed. They leave items in the can because (as the supervisor told me), the workers do not look into the can to ensure it is empty. They are now not allowed to leave the trucks and if the automated handler doesn't clean out the garbage we are stuck with it. If we call to have them come back out., I am called a liar when I recount two of five calls ago having them come back to pick up trash they strewn through my yard, neighbor's yard, out our entry and down our main road one city block. I do NOT appreciate being called a liar when my life service has been to serve humanity. The monopoly needs to stop! We need at least one competitor who will do the job they are paid to do, not complain and call customers liars. I recommend they cease all business if after five valid complaints they can't get their act together permanently!! If I could rate them negative I would. The worst I am allowed here is 1. I can assure you, they do NOT deserve that grace.
