Prompt young man showed up in ten minutes, which I know was an unusually lucky series of events. Car was towed per instructions to the garage designated for a fair price. Have used Fred’s in the past for another RWD vehicle towed and delivered appropriately according to schedule. These are the guys to get it done.
Got in an accident on Sunday and DPD dispatched Fred's to pick up my car. The driver was super nice and gave me a ride to work before he dropped my car off (I believe his name was Matt). Got with my insurance company about releasing my property to me and I was able to get my stuff out of my car the next day with no issues.
I recommend this company my car was messing up and juan came and helped me out i ended up not needing him to tow my car but he followed me to the mechanic to make sure i made it!!!! Higly recomend this company in daventport iowa!
Don't use these people. They bust your shit and say they will pay to have it fixed and don't. Sheriff's department recommended them but Sheriff's office didn't know they break you shot and dont fix it. Lawsuit coming. Got video footage from gas station. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!! Better business bureau is next. These people need to be put out of business!
Had called and was told what I had to bring with me in order to gather our personal belongings from our vehicle that had been involved in an accident. We had everything we needed, signed the paperwork, but we were then told we wiuld have to wait until someone got back from a call to take us back to our vehicle and that might be an hour! What???? We had dinner reservations and was told we should probably come back later or the next day. Husband went back the next morning (11:45) and he was told the guys were on lunch! Took 3 trips to get our stuff! Shannon was great, receptionist was nice enough, but not having someone there to run car owners to their vehicles is crazy and should be policy. 3 trips! Come on people!
My car was in a flood and had to be towed by them. It was there for less than 24 hours, despite this I was charged for two days. I was told they weren’t allowed to test the cars to start, so I made the long trek out there, only to find out they had tested it and it didn’t start. They also lost my keys and wouldn’t accept my license and insurance and I was forced to go to the treasury office and reprint my registration. The only reason they are in business is a contract with the police department. Do not use this company.
I had an excellent experience today with Fred's. Juan was very helpful. The dispatcher was too. This wasn't the first time I have called Fred's and it won't be the last.
John came by and saved our tails at 2:30 in the morning, I can't thank him and Fred's enough for doing us a solid if I could give 10 stars I would. Quick and affordable work!
Juan is amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. I was in a bind late at night and my tire fell off my vehicle. No exaggerations whatsoever. I tried to use my insurance provider. 90 minute wait. Then here is Juan to the rescue. Fred towing addressed my needs, was professional and showed up in 20 minutes. Took my jeep all the way up the drive to my garage. Made sure my jeep was lifted up with random wood I had at home for a fire pit to reduce any more damage. He went above and beyond. I’ve never felt more relieved in that kind of situation. Again Juan was amazing. I thank him 1000 times over. I’d recommend Fred’s to anyone.
This past Friday my truck over heated so needed a tow home, the drive Juan was very prompt professional and was more help and appreciated than he knows! Huge shout out to Juan keep him around!!!
These people are absolutely crooks! Double charged for clean up, triple charged for towing and then random bs charges.i highly recommend using ANYONE ELSE if you need a tow. I don't how these people sleep at night..? Probably on a golden plated mattress. Seriously, use ANYONE ELSE unless you have money to literally burn.

Had my vehicle towed by them after an accident. Due to me being unable to pay the fees I lost everything in my vehicle. I was told by the police that I could get my stuff out of it but upon getting there I needed to pay the fees first. Totally uncalled for in the price for a half mile tow.
When no one could help me, Fred's Towing was there for me when I needed them the most.
Mariah was so nice and friendly, and Juan was professional and awesome. These folks were lifesavers, and I am so grateful for the prompt service that they provided, I highly recommend anyone to call them, I hope I won't need their service, but, if I do and I'm in the area again and need towing or locksmith services, they are the only ones I will be calling.

Automobile died in middle of street, had Davenport Police tow auto. Fred Towing showed up at 5:30pm and towed, called at 6:30pm same day (Friday) for bill it was $480.00, and was told that price was good for 24 hours and $60.00 per day after.
So I waited till next day ( Saturday) Showed up at towing company to pick up the auto at 8:30AM, and was charged $634.00.
Inquired about addictional fee, she started adding fees that doesnt make any sense, e.g. " open gate fee"

I wish I could leave negative stars. Fred's Towing towed my car after an accident on the 31st. I inquired the next day about coming to get some things out of my car that I needed. They told me I need to either pay the toll bill or have the at fault drivers insurance say they're going to pay the total before they can release any personal property. That's understandable, annoying, but understandable. I called multiple times asking if they have gotten the release yet. One time I called and a customer service representative told me they had gotten the promise of payment from the at fault drivers insurance, but I couldn't come get my property yet. I cannot remember the reason why. I think she said they had gotten a verbal confirmation but not a physical confirmation and they were waiting for that paperwork. She said she would call me when they get it and I could come get my personal property. I did not receive a call so a day later I called again asking if they'd received the paper saying the tow bill is going to be covered so I can come get at least my house keys. They could not find my car in their system. When they found it they said it had been picked up by another tow/auction company and I could call them and see if I can get my keys from them. I called this other company. They were very nice and found my keys and told me I could come pick them up. I went to get my keys and the employees there told me Fred's Towing was not supposed to release the car to them without my knowledge. They also told me Fred's Towing should have my license plate that I can go pick up. I called Fred's Towing to inquire about my license plate. They said they had it. And I could come pick it up the next day. When I called the next day I asked if it was still there and if I could come get it after the weekend. They were confused and didn't know if they had my license plate or not. They asked who told me we had your license plate. I said someone yesterday told me you had my license plate and I could pick it up. She responded "if we told you we have it, then we have it." I went today to pick up my license plate and they had no idea what I was talking about. They said they don't pull license plates and it would be at the other company with the car. Since it was the other company that told me about getting my license plate from Fred's towing, I don't think it was still on my car.
I understand having a car towed and being in an accident is never a pleasant experience, but Fred's Towing made it so much more difficult and frustrating than it needed to be.
I am so glad I called Fred's for my towing needs. The communication with the dispatcher was very easy. Nevin called me promptly to let me know he was on his way and what his ETA was. I feel really lucky to have gotten to deal with Nevin, as he was really friendly, really prompt, and really efficient getting my car unstuck from a very unfortunate situation. A+++
I recently lost a Dear friend in a car accident, when my friends sister arrived from out of state she called me and asked me if I would go to Fred’s. We went to Fred’s and first we were greeted by Jerry. He dispatched the driver to come in and take us to the vehicle. Jerry was so kind and helpful. Nevin came in and escorted us to the the vehicle.
Nevin was so helpful and compassionate. In a world that is so hectic it is nice to know that there are still people that care.

Car broke down while in town for a softball tournament. Called Fred’s towing, they showed up quick and were very helpful. Nevin (the driver) hauled our vehicle to the dealership, unloaded it, walked me into service to make sure I got checked in, offered a ride, etc. Excellent service from start to finish!!

I had my very expensive snap-on tool box moved from 1 shop to another and I give the driver Nevin 5 stars he was very polite very knowledgeable and respectful. He treated my toolbox like it was his own. He strapped that thing down better than anybody ever has and when we got all the way across town none of my tools were even moved around in the drawer I highly recommend asking for Nevin if you need anything moved or towed ( Thank you again )

Came from out of town to load up a skid loader from an auction that was inoperable. I was skeptical at first when they arrived with just a flat bed. Nevin was the driver and this guy was impressive. He definitely surprised me with his skill and knowledge. I did a similar scenario a year ago with a different company and it was a nightmare. I have nothing but good things to say about this experience. Had us loaded in less than an hour. Highly recommend these guys! Thanks again for the help
