Electronic Asset Security in Urbandale is great if you have ANY electronics you want to recycle. They wipe everything for you and then properly recycle the parts for free. The workers were very thorough in explaining their process to me and answering all my questions.

Having a nearby, locally owned place to drop your unwanted TV's, computer equipment, and so on and know that all parts are being responsibly recycled is so convenient.

They do a drive-thru drop-off event at my business park annually. Extremely convenient and great way to promote recycling. I also brought some laptops and printers to their storefront.

EAS worked w/ us after a community clean-up drive to recycle a trailer full of TVs & computers. They were excellent to work with and helped us to unload the trailer. There was no cost for the computers & monitors and the cost to recycle TVs was a fraction of the alternatives. An excellent company to work with!

Great service being offered by the City of Urbandale in association with EAS. BUT waiting in line for 45 minutes and not even being to the library parking lot is horrible planning. I skipped through the line and came in the back side to park. I asked one of the workers if I could just walk my sackful and monitor up to him as I couldn't wait another 1/2 to hour to get in. He was very nice and took my items I walked over. If you do it again there needs to be two lines going through for drop off. The intersection of Douglas and 86th and then the library entry were a mess. This was impacting a lot of traffic and I'm amazed there were no accidents.

Well organized and efficient old tech drop off. It was very busy which shows the need for this type of event. Great job!

I pulled up and dropped off a desktop, phones, VHS tapes, CDs and various cords and was on my way in less than 5 minutes. Quick, efficient service with optional Certificates of Destruction available. Happy to recycle these old electronics instead of trashing them.

We took several things to their Urbandale event. They answered our questions about how things are disposed of, recycled and kept secure. The team handled all the items for us, they had a large staging area set up, were efficient, and friendly. I am so happy there is a recycling service like this!

I went to the Urbandale event and it was very well organized. Lots of people, but the workers were very efficient in getting things unloaded and keeping the cars moving.

What a great civic minded company. I just dropped off my old unneeded electronics and they took all my old computers, phones, non-CRT monitor, other misc electronics and cords and cables. So nice to know that stuff won’t go to landfill.

We went to a Mega Scrub day and the guys were so helpful and nice. They brought carts over and helped unload several old TV's and printer's that we were tasked with getting rid off.

They quickly responded to my electronic recycling request. I loaded up and was greeted by a gentleman who brought a cart to my car. Quick, easy and no cost to our company!

Checked several places try to dispose / recycle my old 65" Samsung flat screen TV. Was told would cost me anywhere from $49.99 to $199.99. Last call I made was to Electronic Asset Security they told me $15 I loaded my TV into my truck and took it to them. They came out unloaded the TV, I paid my $15 and drove away very happy.

We've been going to EAS for a few weeks now. They are very timely at getting back to us with refurbished computers and are awesome at stopping by our shop and picking up old computers, servers and networking equipment we need decommissioned! Highly recommend these guys for your recycling needs in the metro.
