What I was looking for was a 12 mm bolt with a tapered end much like bolts that you would use to attach a starter or alternator or water pump. In the defense of advance Auto parts, none of the other parts stores in town had any. And none of the hardware stores in town had any either. It was a nice store and the people were very helpful and they were very apologetic that they didn't have what I needed. Thank you.
Very helpful, very nice, quick check-out, decent prices could have shopped it a little more but they had it in stock so( 0 - 20 synthetic motor oil).. overall satisfied.
Do not recommend any female going here for car parts. They will take advantage and lie about the tests to get you to get a crazy expensive part that you don't need.
My brother and I came here to get a battery for his car. Brian put the battery in but it still didn’t fire the car up. After diligently working on trying to figure out the issue for about an hour in the or so in the heat, he called his GM for assistance. They advised that they would get the car towed thinking that it was a lost cause. We would have accepted that, however after some more tinkering Brian happened to see a cord that wasn’t hooked back in. Once he did that it fired right up. We appreciate the extra mile that Brian showed in making sure we were taken care of. Please acknowledge him !
The employees are friendly and helped me with a bad battery that was under warranty. I was in and out of there in about 10 minutes with a new battery they installed.
Just picked up a ups package from this parts store. They were polite. And seemed quick as there was I don't think any other customers were in the store.
I like advanced Auto they got it when you need it and when they don't they find it!! , How awesome is that some things are a little pricey but that's okay because when you need it you need it sometimes you can't look at money it's better than being stuck out in the freezing cold!!!, Right?? ?☺️
I prefer Advance Auto over the other auto parts stores within a couple of miles of Advance. Let me say the manager went above and beyond what he should have to let me return a part that I did not need. Most of the other places most employees just don't care anymore. The manager knew my $$ was tight and had compassion to help me out. I have always been treated right by all the advance auto employees at this store. Keep up the good work guys!!!
Needed my battery checked, and they came out to the car in less than 5 minutes. Turned out it was shot. Bought a new one, they installed it, and I was on my way. VERY happy with this shop!!!
I ordered a battery charger online. Quick and easy order and they have me a 20% discount. Nice. I got a message 10 minutes later saying the item was ready for pickup. Also nice. Pickup in the store was very quick and easy. So, all in all a quick easy transaction. And the charger works great, too. A super nice guy in the store.

Tried to take back a part we did not need. The manager was super rude. He tried to force my daughter into taking a store gift card instead of giving her money back and yes she had her receipt she did eventually get her money back I wouldn't even buy a lug nut here. Definatly black listed for us know
