This is one of the better shops in Northwest Indiana. They did extensive engine work on my jaguar, and did a excellent job .All The guys there are great and very knowledgeable the turnaround time was ridiculously fast, and they did a thorough job. No lights, no leaks, no nothing. Taking my car back every car I own every time
Called them in a panic about my brakes at 9 am and they got it all taken care of me for a reasonable price! Will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Terry, Michelle, and the rest of the crew did an amazing job working on my 1994 Ford Bronco. They are honest and straight forward when it comes to your vehicle. They thoroughly explain any issues or concerns and answer any questions possible. I been there for 2 other vehicles as well and they have done great work. Definitely recommend to the community!

I took my car to Terry’s for a repair that caused it to fail the emissions test. I trusted my car with Terry in the past, so I knew it would be in good hands.
Not only was I right, I was amazed.
Terry diagnosed the problem and made the repair. He even went through extra efforts in the scorching heat to insure it would passed the test.
Finally, he went to the test site and and got my test certificate saving me the the time and trouble of repeating that again. Thanks Terry!!

I had the BEST experience at Terry's today! They fixed what needed to be fixed on my car at very short notice and they did a superb job quickly. They saved me money and were very comforting to my kids as well, I will be back definitely! And thanks again for your great service!
Terry's is by far the best shop in the region. Skilled, honest, straightforward. You won't find a better shop in NWI. I've been going there for over a decade now, and will continue to refer all family and friends.
Terry's is hands down the best local shop I have ever been to. He went out of his way to satisfy me when the mechanic that was working on my car quit on him. He made sure my car was serviced properly and he kept me informed of the process and repairs that were required to make my engine run like a brand new 1977. $1500 well spent..Thanks again.
Terry and Michele were great! Got me in at the last minute for a used car inspection. Very very detailed, showed me everything wrong with the vehicle, and were very very honest about what was a major problem, and what could be dealt with less urgently. If I shop for any used cars in the area, this is my spot for inspections. I imagine their repair work is top notch also. Great work, and thank you!
A friend of mine who is really big into classic and modern cars referred me to Terry's Auto. I drive a 25 year old van and only had work done at the dealership where it was purchased. This is my second time using his service and I would highly recommend his auto repair service to anyone looking for a business who does the job well and treats the customer right.
Family owned place where you can tell the owners really know what they're talking about. They got me in quick, got me a quote and had everything done quickly. I will absolutely be a repeat customer here.

Estimate repair was $1500. Terry told me it's best to Total my car and take it as a loss.
Went to a different shop and my charge was $850. The problem was Terry's auto was to lazy to work on my vehicle because it was a big job, and in his mind he figured if he works on my car he's going to charge me extra because he didn't feel like working on it In the first place. By the way why would I take my vehicle as a loss over $1,500? That's ludicrous
It's a great place to go get your car fixed. They think about your needs and work with you accordingly. It's not just take a number and thencharge you.They are truly being a blessing in the community. Glad to have them as our auto service. Thank you again.
I went to Terry's cause I had a little fluid leak i told him to fix it and new serpentine belt they charge me way to much still had the leak took it back to them and they said it would cost another 680.00 to fix i said no when they put it back together they left 8 bolts loose and get this they knew I was giving this car to my daughter and she was driving it all the way to Texas i had to hire another mechanic to fix it i had already paid Terry's 480.00 So get out and run fine someone good like I did i am lucky now I found a good and honest mechanic
I've been going to Terry's Auto Repair for over 12 years. They're always very polite, honest, and reasonable about making necessary repairs to your vehicle compared to the high prices most dealerships charge. I am always a satisfied customer.😊
Very nice people seem to be honest and hardworking. Also a family owned and operated shop i was told they have no plans of that changing. Its nice to find a mechanic you feel is being straight with you and charging what they should be and not just what they could be if you know what I mean I recommend them.
