Gotta say service was great open up a business account with them. Everything was fine when they're selling me batteries, but after I bought them, I had a problem with one of the batteries terminals they refused to warranty it out, saying it wasn't the battery, but I know better. Never had it happened before. I spent over 2,000 with them lot of money on batteries with these guys and as much money and batteries as they go through. I'm sure replaceing one battery would not hurt them but instead they would rather have a unhappy costumer

My battery was dead after 5 years from them-no surprise. Went there & bought a new one. They didn't even suggest a more expensive one. They even do watch batteries.

Great service and reliable. Today we were out in town and our car wouldn't start. So, we jumped it and came here. They replaced our battery and took our old one. It was a quick and efficient experience.

Jonathan Drive, Bloomington IN location. I had a battery starting to act up, I called to make an appointment but was told first come first serve, so off I went! Technician took time to explain the battery test, tested in my presence, verified the battery is dying. Literally 15-20 minutes later I was driving home! The customer service, and attention paid to all my questions was outstanding! Interstate Batteries are the only batteries I buy. You can’t go wrong, especially if you go to this location! Kudos to them, great service!!!

It’s nice to be able to get dependable long lasting batteries at Interstate Battery. The service team members changed out the old one in a quick and efficient manner. I buy all my batteries here. From remotes on keys to engine. Everyone is professional and knows their job.. Prices are the best all around. You may get lucky find one cheaper but the extra service and knowledge is worth going here. Thanks again yall killed it. A.Hodson

They were great. My vehicle battery was going out as I was driving around with my kiddos. They got me right in, they were friendly, no appointment needed, and I was out in less than 10 mins. No complaints from this busy mom.

I was able to get right in with my dying car battery as opposed to the dealership who was booked days in advance. Bobby was very knowledgeable about the types, prices and features of various batteries that would fit my car. He got me on the road again in a short time.

I like interstate batteries, but the counter staff here are annoyed when you enter and make you feel unwelcome the whole time. I have purchased batteries here and their previous location for years. They need to work a lot on customer service.

In and out with a new car battery installed in 10 minutes. These folks know their batteries and deliver an excellent experience. The guy that kinda looks like Paul Rudd is the best.

I've read the other reviews and I'm a little baffled because it seems like when I walk through the door it feels like I'm inconveniencing them. I've gotten my batteries there for years because they are an interstate battery dealer but I just don't get the negative vibes every time. Hate to criticize but attitude goes a long way with me in retail. Maybe I just don't fit their typical customer profile.

I loved how from the moment I walked in the door there was someone there to help me. He explained all my options of available batteries and asked about my car so we could get the best battery for my car which has more accessories. The price was great and I will definitely return and also recommend to family and friends. The gentlemen who helped me demonstrated great knowledge and was so friendly and respectful.

Staff were all very efficient and courteous! Best price around for batteries! I live 30 minutes away but will definitely be returning for future purchases! Thank you !

They were very helpful in doing some extra research to find the battery that I needed Even if I didn't get it through them.

I went to them to try to replace the dying AGM battery in my Spark EV since I needed a battery asap and was trying to avoid ordering one. They only had one that was listed as compatible, but for whatever reason did not actually work with my car. Size was wrong. Same height and width, but too long for the battery tray. Made it work as a temporary fix, but battery appeared bad. The dealer tested it earlier that day, and told me to take it back to wherever it came from. It was absolutely junk. They tried everything to charge it, even after it was out of the car and it would not take. When I stated the dealership put a brand new ACDelco battery in, and the car came to life there was an instant attitude change. They "tested" it right in front of me, and said it had 800 cranking amps. The tester display screen was kept from my view. It was only rated for 5xx CCA. Regardless, I needed to return it and was WELL within the 30 day return period. They refunded the battery, but the attitude and resistance I got about it was not necessary. It felt like when I mentioned "it's for an EV" personal biases took over and no one cared, and/or felt it necessary to "screw me over" if possible. That's not good PR. I won't be returning in the future. I hate leaving a bad review, but I felt this one was warranted. We EV drivers get enough flack as it is due to political hate and stigma. Just because we like to drive an EV, doesn't mean we support a particular individual. Do better.

We have been doing business with the nice folks at interstate battery here in Bloomington oh, since 1978. They have always treated as well, and they have a quality product. I use their batteries in everything from the lawn mower motorcycles RV heavy equipment cars everything. Couldn't be happier with the overall experience.

The staff is always friendly and willing to help me select the right battery for my needs. They go above and beyond to find me the best deals and the longevity of the product is unmatched. I hate to say I purchase less batteries now, but it keeps coming back to Interstate when I need them.

These are the coolest auto parts people anywhere! I was helping a friend with his Volvo sedan. The battery kept running low. A mechanic at Belle Tire told him he needed a new battery and a new alternator. I saw the written estimate, $887 and change. Jim at Interstate Battery tested the battery. The scanner showed exactly 600 cold cranking amps, and the Volvo only needs 520 cold cranking amps to start. He and his co-worker tested the alternator, which was fine. They said the battery clamps were loose, which they definitely were. Their price to replace both clamps is only $20! That's a bargain, that's better than me changing them. . If you have any car battery problem, go to Interstate Battery.

I never go anywhere else for a battery purely because these guys are so honest and their price is so reasonable for a quality product. I had a bad battery and went to them to replace it. As soon as I pulled up they were outside ready to help me, but they didn't just replace my battery. They realized I was having an alternator issue and told me that I should replace that before I put a new battery in and beyond THAT they looked closer than I did and informed me MY battery was still under warranty. In his words "I'm here to sell batteries, not steal from people." They could have taken advantage of my ignorance and slapped a new battery in and then another once I realized I had other issues, but they are good folk.

Workers are too worried about getting off work the second they close and don’t care about their customers. I showed up 10 minutes before they closed needing a new battery. My battery was so fried that my car wouldn’t even start back up. I even offered to pay them extra if they’d get me a new battery real quick. But everyone refused to help me, so I had to call a tow truck! Then as I was on the phone, they interrupted me to complain that my car was in their way and I needed to move it so they could leave. I’ve been buying batteries here for years, but not anymore!

Great attitude and service on a busy day during a severe Arctic blast. They replaced my battery they installed 7 years ago.

I leave my phone charging in my car all the time and leave various other things on and it drained my battery a lot. So I thought I should maybe replace it. I too it interstate battery and the employee was very nice to me. I came back in about 30 minutes and one of the things I really liked about this place is that they are HONEST. He told me that that he tested my battery first and said it was at 100% and I didn't need to buy a new one and it was also free of charge. Even after he went through all the work to get my battery out. Its in a Lumina and you have to take the bar off to get to the battery. They saved me 100 dollars. I also found out that if I leave my car sitting for a while and leave something charging even if its very small can run the battery really low. Very nice people.

Bought a battery for my SUV from Interstate about a couple of years ago, not exactly sure when, and I think I bought their mid level option, so I think it had about a 2 year warranty. I noticed about 6 months ago that while being away on a trip the car was parked for about a week and wouldn't start when I got back. After a jump it seemed fine so didn't worry about until just a couple of weeks ago same thing happened. Except this time after jumping it, every time I turned off the ignition it would erase my stereo presets. So I took it back to Interstate to have a look. I was worried that it might no longer be covered under warranty and that I would need to buy another. Or worse, that something was wrong with my SUV (alternator, ignition, or something draining the battery - who knows). Parked out front, walked in, but as soon as I mentioned it was my car battery, the guy (I think it might have been a manager) told me to pull around back so he could test it. After less than a minute testing he said something wasn't quite right about the battery so he pulls it out, brings over a new one installs it (all in less than 5 minutes). He apologized for the trouble and that was that. No questions asked. Definitely recommend.
