Great place to pull parts and great place for prices not to mention the customer service, had a 400-500lb ladder rack I needed help loading and they had no issues helping would definitely recommend this yard

Nice organized auto salvage yard with plenty to pick parts from.

I had never dealt with any of Paul's location, but hit a deer and needed a hood and some other parts as well. Called about the car and was told they still had it. Obviously, employees dont know whats on the car or not at that time. They told me that they still had the car and prices for each part. When I got there they had nothing to help carry tools into the yard or carry back parts. Decided on getting just the hood for the time being. When I went to check out I was told 150. Told the gentlemen that not what I was told when I called earlier. He said, "well that's what its in the computer for, but I can do 128. Part of me thinks this is how they get you. If you walk away, you just pulled a part for them to sell to someone else and they can charge that person a pull fee. If not, you end up paying whatever they charge because you just spent that time pulling it. I ended up paying it, but have no desire to visit one of their locations again.

Blake was very helpful and Paul’s pulled a rim for my Toyota that I had hit a curb with. Rim looks amazing and they had the tire and rim ready and waiting. Thank you all. Would recommend anytime. Price was good at $55 with tax and a good tire.

Never pays for Prepared steel and Screws you on your precious metals. Good place to take bullshit Scrap. Unclean metal and they have upped there prices on parts good place to get pit bikes and ATVs lawn mowers and crap like that

Trans went out in my 2005 ford taurus wagon Fri, contacted Paul's Auto Yard via email Fri nite, Amber contacted me by email and told me of price , driver called me to confirm address, was polite and courteous , of course I cried when it left .

This place is a joke,I drove 2 hours to pick up a jeep liberty hood that they showed a picture of and I called to make sure they had it ,and when I get there they don't have it,they should not be in business.liars and thieves

Got what I came for and saw a deal advertised for something I really needed and they had a close time of 5. I had to go doordash for the tire deal and a new jack as I broke mine in the yard and came back after I had enough. Apparently despite everything saying 5 they close up everything at 4:30. All I was there for was 2 tires and dipstick. With 3 of us we could have been in and out in 10 minutes which would have still been before the posted close time. Owner if you see this please let me get some bogo tires for my van, I'm seeing metal.

The staff was really helpful and welcoming and there is a huge selection of cars

I am very disappointed in the service we received at this location. We started off at the Merrillville location….Merrillville didn’t have what we needed even though they said they did. So we were sent to the Lake Station location. Lake Station had the part and they said it would only take 30 minutes to pull it…. We spent over 3 hours waiting only for to not be pulled. Then we were told it would be ready in the morning and they would see if they could deliver it. We called several times after opening only to be told that the shift was not even informed that the part needed to be pulled. We drove out there and after 1.5 hours finally got the part. They refused to refund the pull fee or give any kind of discount for their employee who was incompetent. I would try my best to avoid this location. They obviously don’t want return customers. I know won’t be back.

$50 a piece on side mirrors they were spray painted and one was broken and they still wanted $90. It was cheaper to buy online got 2 good ones and don't have to pull them in the freezing cold. Give a guy a break on the prices. $23 each at pick n pull..

The young man that weighs out the scrap it was very nice and helpful he wasn't like the old staff where they treated you like a junkie. But the guy working in the scrap yard on a Saturday was very polite very cool very helpful and I give him five stars all day. And just to clarify I'm not a scrapper I just happen to have some scrap and went in

Prices went so high with the new owners on used parts tried to buy a used raditor i was pulling it myself they wanted 55$ he said best price was 45$ plus a 5$ core return brand new on ebay it was 43$ with no core return kinda ricoulous when used parts im pulling are more then new ones then he wanted extra for the fan assembly 37$ there 45$ new online it was cheaper then new but this is a junk yard im pulling used parts not gold bars

Terrific customer service fair deals, fair people! Came in today looking for a ford worker named Matthew helped me in no time Matthew always comes through to help every time I stop by he takes care of me!

I brought in solid, still clean, rebar ,angle, iron, see channel, solid pipes, I-beam pieces, and they gave me 170 a ton when it should’ve been 225 a ton

I have visited Paul's Auto Yard several times. After being there so many times I can honestly say that I have been treated with the utmost respect and the help there goes above and beyond to help me with any items I am looking for. Their employees are extremely polite and always willing to help. Rodney is an amazing man he has a great sense of humor and will put a smile on your face on your Darkest Day. Everyone there is willing to help. There have been many times when I was not sure on how to replace something on my vehicle and or exactly what to buy in order for me to get my vehicle running excellent again. The employees have gone as far as to walk out to my vehicle and tell me exactly what I need to do or purchase to fix the problem with my car. I highly recommend Paul's Auto Yard. The prices are right, the employees are excellent. And above all you are treated with respect, the prices are right and above all the staff is always willing to help. The next time you need something for your car and don't want to pay full price by buying it new go to Paul's Auto Yard I guarantee if they don't have it they will send you to a place that does. It's not about them making a dollar it's about them making you happy. And they've always help me and made me happy which means the world to me. Thank you everyone at Paul's you're all amazing.

If I could give these folks more than 5 stars, I would. My vehicle broke down right in the middle of rush hour yesterday. Not only were they extremely helpful and kind, but they were exceptionally quick to my rescue. The woman who helped me was extremely knowledgeable and I'm very thankful for her help. Her name was Prudence. So Prudence, if your boss sees this, tell him I said you deserve a raise ☺️

Our go-to for used auto parts and selling our junk cars. (Almost) always find what we're looking for. Pru Poe is the best at her job and the friendliest of all their employees! A+ service!

Pauls is a good place. The longtime employees there do a lot to try and help ya out! Good people. Pru has been amazing every time I go!

UPDATE: they want to take your info now when buying parts what the hell? This new company is TERRIBLE! Prices are just insane now so go with the intent of spending way more on used parts that ever most cases better to look online prices for new parts i’m going to try to keep my business at minimal with these junkyards now.

I've always been able to find any part I need over the last five years that I've lived in Gary. I've scrapped at least five e vehicles and the price was always fair. The tow service was usually prompt. They arrived when they said they would and always gave me a call to let em know when they were arriving.

I won't spend another dollar there. Bought a rear end and they cut the brake cables ,when I asked why the cables were cut he tried to tell me I was complaining. When you spend close to 300 dollars on a part ,you expect to be complete! Now I have an unusable part to put in a car that has a stick in it, with no parking brake.

I always get great service here. Employees are very friendly and SOOO knowledgeable. I call and tell them what I need. They check if they have it, tell me the price and when I can come to get it. I can't stress enough how very Satisfied I am with the service! The young man, Rufus, is especially wonderful.
