Today I was on my way to a different auto parts store with my wife and kids to get a new battery for a minivan. On the way there the van died couldn't get it to turn over. Was about 2 miles away from advance Auto and decided to give them a call it be a closer walk for me to go and get a new battery. Made a phone call and I believe the assistant manager Brian Brennan picked up the phone. (Not sure if that's how you spell the name I apologize if I got it wrong). I told him I was going on and we were on the side of the road and I wanted to make sure they had the battery I needed before I started my journey of walking two miles to the store. Also at this time it's been pouring down rain. After I let him know what's going on and he checks and make sure the battery is there he asked where we're broke down at. Let him know we were about 2 mi away from the store and I was getting ready to grab the battery and start my walk in the rain with the battery to him at that point he said you stay right there with your wife I'll be right there to get you I'm not going to let you walk in the rain with a car battery for 2 miles sir. Not only did he come and pick me up with my old battery take me to the store get the new battery I purchase it he brings me back to the van. In no way to this man need to do all of that for myself and my family today. He went so far above and beyond to help out myself and my family I am so grateful for the help he gave us today. What an amazing person so glad I got to cross paths with him. I will be going back tomorrow to get some testing done on my van and this is going to be the only auto parts store that I go to from now on. Can't think this man enough advance Auto you have a great assistant manager in Jeffersonville Indiana on 10th Street appreciate you Mr Brennan.
Found the part I was looking for and Sam was a big help on the phone and in person. He even signed me up for the rewards program to save a little on my parts!
Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff helps to make sure you get the right part for your specific vehicle. Next day delivery on ordered not in stock parts a big plus. Competitive prices if not lower than most other auto parts stores.
They said I needed a battery but didn’t. Returned it. They kept $20 from the return because of a “core fee”. Asked what it was and they said “you’re returning it so you don’t get a core fee back”. Kept repeating “core fee”. Would not explain. Great way to lose my business, scammers.
The website said they were the only auto parts store in the region that either carried or had genuine Honda ATF in stock. After driving 40mins to the store I learned that it lied. There wasn't even a spot on the shelf for it. I've never liked Advanced Auto Parts and this sealed their fate with me as well as all other auto parts stores in general. As much as I hate to push people to Amazon, you're much better off going there because all auto parts stores have become a joke. They don't have parts in store, they cost more, the useful help and insight are a thing of the past. I can order what I need from Amazon and get it cheaper, quicker and with better understanding than I can from these type of stores. It's truly the end of an era.
Just wanted to give out a huge shout out to Dale. Great service, answered all of my questions. Friendly and very efficient! Young lady also working with him, very nice and knowledgeable as well.
Another nice Advance Auto Parts that I've been to over in Jeffersonville. Looks nice on the inside has some security cameras which makes me feel at ease.
Greeted me when I walked in...impressive! Answered my question regarding what I was looking for and directed me where to check out. I'll be back to this location for sure.
Staff is derogatory to customers whom are part of the LGBTQ community. I was verbally told I’m not welcome here and to never come back. I was chased out to the parking lot by assistant manager Zack. A corporate complaint has been filed. I hope the footage of the employee chest bumping me as a physical threat becomes public at some point.
Took a friend to them so they could pick a part up for their vehicle. They were in and out and the part worked perfectly. I suggest doing business with them! Great job guy’s

Took my mom's car to check the battery and left feeling confident that I will have the problems fixed and not just temporary. Thanks to Dale for being friendly and knowledgeable.
I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 because it has higher prices than its leading competitors. But the staff where eager to help and even though I did not buy anything the worker still printed me off price quotes for the parts to my car I was looking for.
Had a bearing and a belt go out on our way to Knoxville. Rod fixed it and helped us get on the road. So grateful for his help and awesome customer service.
Called for a quote on a part was told the wrong price I even asked him again if it was for my vehicle make and model and they said yes got all the way there and it was $30 more!! Every time I had been to this store the past three times was a mistake it never turns out right
Mr. Terry was amazing today helping me with a new battery and showing me a few other things. He was super sweet and very understanding! This gentleman will be the reason i come back to get anything else i need!
Advanced auto parts was so helpful! They came out and looked at my car, helped me to diagnose it at a shop down the street(by recommendation). And then was able to come back to advance and get the parts I needed. They were VERY helpful!! Especially for someone who works on their cars themselves: this is the auto place to go!
The store manager went over and above with customer service! The store was clean, well stocked and organized. The staff was friendly and prices are competitive. I highly recommend this store. Thanks for your help!
The manager there on May 25th 2017 around 1:30 is the whole reason I'll never go to advanced auto again. She was very rude from the start would not help and just walked away. I understand if you're having a bad day but don't take it out on your paying customers.
