I go to Red Ball at least once a week, maybe more. This is the cleanest, most organized yard I have ever been to. I did have an issue with an employee my first time but the owners made it right. Since that one time never another issue. Mario in the yard is outstanding every single time I see him, the crane operators are very skilled and gentle removing items from a trailer and the ladies at the window are pleasant. I'm sure they deal with upset people all the time. The guys at the Non-Ferrous garage scale are efficient and extremely knowledgeable. Dustin has been more than professional with me everything. Do everyone a favor and separate your metals before you get to the scale. They provide more than enough carts to separate and if you're unsure of something just ask before it is weighed and taken away. Its really that simple. Red Ball is the only yard I will ever go to. Their prices are also right in line with the others in the area and their website now says they will price match within reason.
I'm always happy with the cleanliness and efficiency that Red Ball exhibits. Special kudos to Mario, out in the yard, who is always very friendly, yet professional. My favorite scrap yard!
If you need to get rid of big bulky metal items there is a solid chance they will take it. Took an old dry fuel tank and a radiator for my old truck when other recycling companies wouldn't even take them. The yard is efficiently laid out and I am usually in and out pretty quickly.
Don't let them with your cans across the big scales cause I took 4 bags in and got them weighed on the small scale and got 20 bucks took a whole truck bed and the back seat full at the same price and got cheated I had 10x that amount and only got 68 bucks. I tried to talk to them about it and they basically said it was to late to do anything about it
Every time I come here there is some new restriction on why my metal cant be full value.
If your prices are so transparent, why are there so many similar complaints? Every single time I get an entire load downgraded because of a single bolt. I'm going elsewhere, and so are many, many other people.
I do a lot of custom wheels and always be havin a few junk wheels with no caps or weights or stems layin around that ill scrap after a while. They always tell me one price but try to pay me a lower price. Tired of arguing with them for real

Such a great company! Some of the nicest workers that’ll help you with whatever you need. Very on top of making sure the yard is clean enough to drive through. A lot of great employees that will make sure to take care of you! And not to mention!!! If you get pricing from somewhere else that is better than Red Ball Recycling’s they will do their best to match it or get as close to it as possible!
Well, I don't like giving bad reviews, but this place mislabeled 2 of my components and underpaid me by close to 50%. I have been scraping ice machines from Starbucks since Feb 2024. All over the country. While the prices always fluctuate, they are usually labeled the same on the ticket, no matter the state or city. I have been making between $180-$320 per unit, with the vast majority of my load being #2 copper and clean radiators. But this place labeled my #2 copper (which some places in CO have paid $4.02 a lbs recently) as "copper bearings" and paid $0.03 a lbs for 44 lbs of it. And as something else, which again was 42 lbs at $1.45 for somthing called arc wind? No where on the ticket did it mention "clean rad" for the radiators, so i assume that was one of the item they called arc wind. Also, the weight of the radiators would have been around the 35-45 lbs range. The total ticket I received was $115. The lest I ever got for one of these units. I didn't complain or even brought it up, I knew it wouldn't do any good. But I still wanted to share this otherwise bad experience.
Side note: Mistakes happen, and I don't feel it was intentional. But nowhere in my load of an ice machine + hvac condenser did I have "copper ball barrings"...
Always super friendly and fast. Never have to wait longer than 5 or 10 minutes. Honest people to do business with. I have no bad things to say about this company. And all the beautiful and smart lady's in the office that work so hard to deal with all the fast paced work they do and dealing with the angry people. You lady's rock!!

First time here! Didn't know the layout so we asked around..the people there turning in scrap and such were surprisingly nice. The staff working the window was in a very good mood today and greeted us in a nice way. This place is tidy for a recycling facility. I love it. Very organized. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!
I sent my daughter and her friend I was not happy with with $6.50 the sheet aluminum on my receipt says gross 111.0, tare108.0, net 3.0, price 0.28 lb, total 0.84 that was good clean aluminum. LOTS of friends go to y'all I was disappointed. I can't work was gonna try to make ends meet. Oh well ...
The girls there running the scales and the register along with the guys unloading are some of the nicest people anyone could meet. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable about what is going on. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because their price list is wrong. I expected 3.40 per pound of #1 copper and only got 3.04. Please keep your price list undated.
Staff is very friendly and scrap price is competitive. However, I questioned the weight i was getting paid for so the last 2 times we went we took in smaller amounts and weighed them before we brought them in. They were short on what they paid us for both times. The second time we said something and the guy told us that their scales were calibrated and inspected regularly and my scales must be wrong. Mine were calibrated just before weighing my scrap. It is what it is I suppose. Short or not they are still 1000 times better than River Metals!
Red ball recycling is a clean scrap yard very organized easy place to find you don't have to worry about going in there and getting nails in your tires screws in your tires. The guys has been very helpful in the dark hair lady that works at the window she does a great job also. You can go in and get out without having to wait forever they take good care of you without having to be there forever. Also the prices they pay are pretty decent. I would recommend

The overall experience was very quick, easy, and simple. The young lady that helped me was very polite, professional and friendly. Even tho I live on the other side of the river I will continue to use Red Ball Recycling.
A great experience. This was my first time at the facility and I was impressed by the size of the operation, how organized everything was and especially how clean the yard was for an operation like that. Yard employees were very helpful and the young lady in the office was very professional but also very friendly. I have been to many other centers but this will definitely be my first choice from now on.
