I am an auto zone type of guy...however I went to auto zone and they didn't have the relay in stock or the capability to order one. So I went to O'Reilly and they had one in stock and were able to order the other 5 that I needed. So that was awesome. No longer biast am I. 5 stars for O'Reilly

We had to buy a new battery for my daughter’s car, and Steven was amazing. He not only helped me find the right battery for a good price, but he also gave us an extra good deal, and installed the battery. I felt terrible because it was the middle of this gruesome heatwave. It was an obnoxious install because the battery cage didn’t fit the new battery perfectly, and also, my nosy ass wanted to watch him do it so I could learn. He was SO friendly, explained each step as he did it, and wrestled with the poorly fitting cage until it fit, all with good humor and incredible kindness. A wonderful experience, a very lovely person, and five stars all around.

We went to O’Reilly on Talon Drive in O’Fallon Illinois because my granddaughter‘s car was smelling like bad eggs, which meant she needed a battery. The young man told us that they could not install the battery because it may be close to the firewall that she and I could do it Because he did his own car. mind you I am 78 years old and my granddaughter is 20. We do not have any tools and my husband is out of town so we have no one to help us. We took it somewhere else. They looked at it and said Battery is not near the firewall, must let you know that the young man never looked under the hood at O’Reilly. . So that’s why I’m giving them a thumbs down. They did not take the time to try to assist us. It was like oh no, you can do it. I will never go to an O’Reillys again and I’m telling all my friends and family not to go. I sincerely hope we were not treated that way because we were African-American.

James went above and beyond when I explained my issue and stuck with me until he figured out the problem and fixed it!! So very grateful for his help!! Would recommend this store to anyone ?❤️

I’m not sure who the manager is but Cole needs to be fired. I went in for a turn signal bulb one evening and nobody was to be found. When I finally chirped up, Cole came from the back with a cloud of smoke behind him! Not only was this already frustrating but then he was just downright demeaning to me for no reason. He even rolled his eyes at me for not knowing my car’s sub model!!! Completely disappointed with my service compared to to past experiences.

The manager, Andrew was so rude to us. I came in with my significant other to get my battery changed and once we handed him the receipt he then let out a big sigh and was snippy and rude to us the entire time. He acted like we were demanding to him when all we wanted was to see what was wrong with my battery. If you’re the MANAGER, don’t treat your customers that way.

Daughters car needed 3 coils, they only had one, told me the other coils would be there later in the day. I came in after the agreed time and bought 3 coils . Great service

It's the Mc Donald's of auto parts stores. Always consistent quality no matter what location you go to. They always seem to hire people that at least have a clue and then give them good tools to work with I have gone here to read out a code and came up with a solution. That was after I had gone to the competition and they used their "code reader" ( looks like from a cracker jack box) and told me to go to the dealer because they could not make sense of the Code. OReilly used a quality code reader, read the code, sold me a part and it was fixed. No dealer trip necessary

Painless as usual. I go here for steering wheel covers and scent trees for our fleet vehicles. There's a particular steering wheel cover that fits our trucks better, but they always ONLY have one in stock. I could probably order more, but not spending a ton is another reason I go here

Customer service was above and beyond! The staff went out of their way to help, unlike a lot of other auto-parts stores I've been to in the area. They even let me know about the rewards system and how it works and the sales they had going on.

Always have what I need and can answer questions I have. The COVID safe practices are not always the best, but I'm never there long. Overall a good place to get you auto repair and maintenance supplies.

Traveling home, the alternator went out on our motorhome. O'reilly's was the only place open. They were wonderful. We were able to get the parts, were given tools to use to install it. Very nice people. Thank you turning bad luck into good luck.

I walked in and asked an employee to look at a detached piece of rubber on my car and help me decide which screws to purchase, thinking he would just tell me... He searched for the right fit, tested them, AND installed them within 5 minutes, all while it was starting to rain! Amazing. Shout out to Garrett for being awesome.

Not impressed with customer service or their exorbitant prices. Battery was going to be $200. Popular retail chain down the street? $88. When I told the "gentleman" I would pass, knowing $200 was a total ripoff, I still would have came here for future business had he been personable, saying at a minimum, "Okay, have a good evening, hopefully we can be of assistance in the future." He literally shrugged his shoulders and that was that. Represents the store poorly in my view.

I have been traveling for over 8 hours when my windshield wiper went out, and it was raining horribly. I pulled in to purchase some new ones, and the young man behind the counter was extremely helpful in finding one that would fit, and he even offered to replace them for me at no charge and just out of sheer kindness. This young man is gold!

I love this place. My check engine light was on and they checked it for free. Told me what was wrong. It didn't have to be fixed. I needed a minor rear light fixed which he helped me. Walked out spending a mere $5. Will definitely go back

Convenient location, knowledgeable and helpful staff personnel make this auto parts store your "go-to" place! Extremely well laid out aisles make it easy to find whatever you are looking for, and if you don't find what you want, the staff personnel will help you locate the item or look it up on the database to ensure a proper part, serial number, etc.

Excellent service from all employees. Even though it's below freezing, every employee came outside to help with my car. Straight and to the point, they don't mess with you or try to get a quick sell on you. They genuinely want you to have your car in tip top shape.

Their staff was very helpful and friendly! Even in the bitter cold he bundled up and went outside to help me with my car and had a great attitude the entire time. I appreciated his knowledge and candid thoughts about what I needed to do to help remedy the issue with my car. I am very appreciative of their excellent service.

As a past employee I know how everything operates there, went in today, asked to get some stuff price matched to walmart. Price matching is their policy. The manager got upset and refused, and gave me no reasoning. Then got an attitude and loud when i asked why not (as other stores ive been to as well as the one i worked at wouldn't have an issue with it). I then made the comment about speaking to the district manager, and he agreed to price match this one time but not again. Very unhappy with this experience, and will most likely be contacting higher ups, as it seems with other reviews I'm not the only person hes been this way to.

I returned some interior dash wipes. $4.99. The manager basically belittled me saying they are suppose to be wet, they are made to clean etc. Told him the issue wasn't wasnt that they are dry it's that they leave a thick streak. He mumbled under his breath and told the cashier to give my money back and warranty the item. Either return the item or state there is no return. Don't belittle the customer.

I went in there looking for speakers for my truck and they very kindly looked up what kind of speakers were already in my truck and he told me what kinds i can get in there and recommended which one is better (because i had no idea about speakers.) If you want to find guys that know alot about cars and are extremely kind, go here!
