Called the shop at omega on Tuesday to get a car being sold locally in for a pre-purchase inspection and a compression test. They provided incredibly flexible availability and due to me needing to work with the dealership owner’s availability as well. Once the car was in their shop they provided me a thorough run down of every area I requested along with mentions of their own concerns. Not once was I pressured into getting any sort of work done by them nor any persuasion of buying the parts that should be replaced by them at time of inspection. They preformed the inspection and compression test exactly as we discussed giving me the confidence to drive 8hrs to purchase a used import vehicle. I would highly recommend this shop for any out of town / state person looking for a place to inspect a vehicle for you without bias.
Just got a tire alignment here for my 2007 Toyota sienna and I was very pleased with the quick, friendly, and honest service! My husband attempted having the Toyota dealership do it, but they made him wait almost 2 hours just to tell us they weren't able to do it and we're requiring us to do additional work on suspension and pay for something they broke.
Omega staff had no issues getting my van alignment done and didn't break anything! Highly recommend!

Not a good experience. I was charged $150 just to get the codes read on the “check engine” light. And it took them 2 days to give me the quote while my car sat in their shop. That’s ridiculous, especially when you can go to AutoZone and get it done for free.

Second project car I've tried taking to them and can never get a response or a quote for anything. Called and messaged on IG (even had to reach out to a friend of a shop to try and even get a response back)... So I can only imagine what their response to customers are like.
Came in for a short shifter install on my Genesis Coupe. Everyone was super friendly, the work was clean, and they had everything wrapped up within a day 🙌. Definitely would recommend coming here

What a great shop! I didn’t feel like doing my Mini Cooper clutch, flywheel and oil seal on the ground in my garage so I called around and they quoted me a very fair rate! Since I was a few blocks down the street they were fine driving it to my house for me as well when they finished! Very happy with the work no issues at all! The whole shop has a solid crew! Will definitely be coming back when I don’t feel like wrenching on my own stuff again!
I came in to this shop to get my breathalyzer (DUI device)installed. The price was reasonable and they did an awesome job installing it. It only took 2 hours plus they will show you how to use the device. Highly recommend.
Brought my Civic Si to have some parts replaced and a wheel alignment. Spoke to Marco over the phone, helped me out with the process and was professional over the phone. When I brought my car in, Mauricio worked in my vehicle. He was professional, accurate, and explained to me what he did throughout the process. Great service with competitive pricing! Unprofessional owner and employees. 4 times in 1 week I had to bring my car in for a simple brake replacement. One of these Clowns suggested pep boys and I had a more positive interaction with the pep boys compared to Omega liar's.
They did a great job swapping out my head gasket cover they also swapped my battery and spark plugs I'd have to say overall completely satisfied with them I will be bringing my car back for any further repairs!
Marco always knows how to take care of his customers , and for that it keeps me coming back. Can’t speak well enough of how he runs his business. He gives younger generations a better reputation as entrepreneurs. Keep it up and the business will keep coming back ! :)
Fixed my car very well. there was a little lack of communication, but they do good work so they get lots of business. They also get to the root of the problem lead them to take a little extra time.
So i would reccomend if you have the time to let somone fix your car the right way. And have another source of transportation then come here.
We had a used car inspected here. They were very thorough and the cost was very reasonable. Marco spent plenty of time with us and when we asked about the business, he shared photos of some of the custom work he’s done.
I do not live in the area, but if I did, I would most certainly have my auto work done here. The shop was well kept, and Marco and the others we interacted with were great.

Brought my car to Omega to get a alignment and get some control arms put on. Marco took care of me and took extra caution to make sure everything turned out perfectly. Car drives straight and best it’s ever driven! Marco also makes the alignment rack very low car friendly!

Been here several times. The first time for a quick repair after hitting an opossum my front end had a shield that got torn and was dragging. The Nissan dealer would’ve charged over $100 for new parts. I needed a quick fix and they accommodated me with quickly putting in some nuts or screws. I was happy and it was quick and only like $20. So I went back with my next car for new tires. They didn’t have the brand I wanted in stock. I normally buy Yokohama’s for my lady 2 cars (Nissan Quest and Chevy Malibu) they were only $550 installed with 75k miles nationwide warranty at Discount Tires. But for my Nissan Maxima they were over $700 for set of 4. But I wasn’t willing to pay that much. So I talked to the owner, he had a decent enough price on tires he could order that also had a warranty that was comparable to the ones I wanted (but this being only a local shop and not nationwide had me a bit worried as when we travel out of state it’s always nice to know another shop can honor the warranty so I’m not paying up front and waiting on reimbursement). So I needed new tires really bad and we had severe snowstorm warnings. He called me and said he’d have the tires in that day, but they ended up being delivered really late afternoon, like 5pm. But the owner said he’d still get it done for me as he knew I was worried about driving my old bald tires in the snow. So I appreciate that they stayed late to accommodate me when I know they wanted to get headed home before the 6-9 inches of snow accumulation. But then few weeks later while in St Charles we had an issue. When my daughter was driving she got a flat, so I had to tow it to Elgin. Thankfully my roadside assistance with Verizon covered the tow completely. I was worried with the distance I’d have to pay extra for the mileage. It was several hours to get to the shop due to backup with towing company, but once more he was accommodating. Turned out all the air just blew out while she was driving. There was no nail or foreign object as I expected. But I didn’t pay out of pocket for anything so I was happy. The last vehicle I had in for repairs was another story. I took my husbands old 2001 town and country minivan. Again required a tow. My 22 yr old kid had turned the van off while I was in Dr office but then turned the ignition so she could turn on the radio and the defrost. It wore out the alternator. When I had it towed I told him what happened so I suspected that it was battery or alternator and told him to call me with any updates before doing repairs. With as old as it is I wasn’t willing to pay much to fix it. So I hadn’t heard anything back from him late the next morning, so I called him. He told me that the battery was charged and it still wouldn’t start so they started testing electrical, thinking it had something to do with the aftermarket alarm system (which we don’t even use). So anyways he was trying to charge me like $700+ for all these diagnostics in electrical work and a part he replaced in the alarm system to test it without me signing anything agreeing to pay labor costs for diagnosing it or calling me first. After all that they then tested the alternator and realized that was the issue. I talked to 3 people that knows more about cars than my husband or myself and they all agreed that he should’ve suspected alternator after battery tested confirmed it wasn’t battery. So I felt like he was taking advantage of us and refused the repairs on alternator cost. After leaving it there a 2nd day and dropping in the office with my friend to talk to him in front of other customers, he acted a bit more friendly. He agreed to only charge me for the part they put in the alarm system and then the alternator work. It was still too expensive in my opinion, but it was better than the $700 he originally expected. I think we paid around $380. So with 3 good experiences and last not so good, I’m hesitant about going back. I just worry what if the owner has a grudge against me for the hassle with the van and decides to take advantage of me and overcharges me or damages my car.
First Off , I am very picky when it comes to picking a shop to work on my car because not everyone is straight up and give u bs.
The owner Marco is up front , honest. Coolest owner and best shop/clinic to take your car. Props to his team , your car is in good hands.

Marco is the Best! I have had several repairs done in my 2 vehicles (98 4Runner and a 96 Sc300) and I couldn't be happier with the service and reasonable prices. He always makes sure that everything is taken care of and he doesnt try to "sell" me repairs outside of my budget. I tell everyone I know to go here.
