Had to warranty an engine as the first one was burning oil almost as bad as the one I was originally replacing. Joe was wonderful through the process and there was no hitch in getting a replacement and returning the engine. Not burning oil anymore! Only thing you guys get 4 stars for instead of 5 is the co-worker dynamic. Every time I've called or been there it seems like I'm walking into a house of a dysfunctional family. Everyone yelling at each other, always feel like I'm about to witness a worldstar moment. Entertaining in its own way I suppose but kind of off-putting.

Give it up for these guys!!! I'm looking for a part for a while now. Couldn't find it in the city. Came out to this place and BOOM!!! They had it...you might not get so lucky as me, but from what I've seen on the lot, they carry all kinds of makes and models. Not just cars but truck parts, etc....give a call first. They will look up your part. They also do not let customers on the lot. So don't walk around and get yelled at. ENJOY!!

Rude and not helpful. We were trying to figure out when they sold an engine we found in a customer car so we could see approximately when it was put in. I did not ask for any customer information just when it was sold and how many miles were on it when it was sold. It's become sort of apparent there is some fraudulent activity going on. They have the VIN and stock number listed online showing the parts vehicle to have 105,000 miles on it. After running the carfax service history I found that this car actually had over 231,000 on it. Unless they can clarify this and come up with an explanation, this is indeed fraud. Do your own research before buying anything from these people.

One of the best places in the whole Midwest area to get your car part, engines/ transmissions/ even windshield, Joey is doing a great job and so friendly, price wise I believe o one can compete them. Highly recommended

Garbage customer service they give you a run around never call you back i drove out there from skokie for no reason for a part they forgot to take off the website they promised me theyd get the part and deliver to me since i came for no reason. Next couple days i called them they put me on hold never called me back. Then told me the part is gone.

I just to do business with this company but im going to stop just because the pepole who works here the are very Rude feel bad for the owner. is one person who is good in the business hes name is joe the other Spanish speaking guys are really bad Rude no respect for the customers we as a customers we don't coming here for fun we drive to the place because you say the part is there wen you show up wrong part. I ordered a starter online from these people and i did receive a starter 3 weeks later after ordering just to find out its not the starter i ordered. I called them several times about the situation and Ohare agreed to ship me the proper starter at no additional charge. It has now been 9 days since he claimed it was shipped and i have yet to receive my starter or even a tracking number! Wont be doing business with these people again!

I purchased an alternator from these gentlemen and the price was great and the service was excellent. Very nice people

I gave them a call they were there within 2 days, sold them a junk car , got a reasonable price for something that doesn't run, the driver was awesome who came and picked up the vehicle,

Picked up a 1jzgte from them last year and was a good motor. Yesterday I picked up a sohc Saturn motor and found that the motor is rusted inside from sitting OUTSIDE. It’s not just surface rust. It’s deep on the cam lobes. I called and tried to work with them, I really didn’t want to believe all the bad reviews and wanted to continue to do business with them. I got the run around. I got ripped off. I was willing to work with them. They just want their quick buck. The warranty doesn’t mean anything. I asked for a different head and they “don’t have any”.

Never buying from here again, waited an over hour in the parking lot for a part that was already removed. Wasted my time, and brought out a damaged part. Save your money and please buy your used parts elsewhere you guys.

Just bad and rude services totally disappointed. I am never going there again and don't recommend it at all, the guy try to sell me 2 screws for $5 I asked for more info about the screws just denied me. I went to the junk yard around the corner and totally see the difference, they gave me 4 free screws! It just didn't work out at all NEVER going there and I don't recommend it.

ZERO STARS ! Buyers Beware! Horrible experience! Liers! Purchased a motor that was supposed to have low miles. $2850 with shipping. Drove 2 months and the timing chain went out. The owner agreed to replace it. Told me to have the motor taken back out and on a pallet and a new one would be to me on a specific day. It never came, I called and got excuses after excuses. After 3 months the car was up on the hoist, holding back jobs, waiting for replacement and getting lie after lie. I got upset. Joe, the owner then told me off and said he was not doing anything to help me. Went through the attorney general to look for assistance. They are being watched closely for shady business now. I apparently am not the only one that has had problems. I sent the motor to have timing replaced. The shop told me the motor has been beat and indeed has high miles. Very sludgy. Advised not to replace. But I was already in over my head. Bad experience.

Terrible service. I never received an invoice for a part I ordered and the part didn’t work when I installed it. On top of that they did not want to take my return and claimed that their invoice stated I can only receive in store type of credit with them for a return, not an actual refund. When I actually looked over the invoice it said no where anything about returns. I was guaranteed over the phone that the part would fit and work fine and that if it doesn’t work I can return it. But, I was lied to.

The crew was very helpful, fast service with competitive prices. If you are looking for a part that your vehicle needs, don’t get it on EBay, go to Global. Joel was a huge help.

Terrible customer service. Workers are really rude. Even the owner has a bad attitude trowing papers and screaming in front of customers.They dont honor their warrantys or store credits. Woudnt recomend this place to anybody

The worst recycling company I’ve ever used please please do not trust this yard and the salesmans. They are all shady they sold me a transmission I paid $1,580 the shop that installed it, stated the torque converter didn’t work. I called the yard they told me the torque converter, which is attached to the transmission. Is it under the warranty? Come to find out the whole transmission was bad they told me they won’t warranty it because it’s out of warranty. Keep in mind this car never left the shop, because of the transmission they sold me was bogus. I’ve been in business for about eight years and I’ve never seen a junkyard. So unprofessional, that wouldn’t work with the customer and sell you bogus parts and the. stand behind it. The worst customer service Ive ever had in life. my father always said if you buy cheap you’ll pay twice I paid 3 times because the shop had to install a bad trans and now I have to find another trans and have it installed

Stright up THIEF! Told they will pay to buy my old wheels. I drove 30 mins there and dropped off the wheels. It's not until they took away my wheels they told me " we don't buy wheels" and refuse to give the wheels back.

they offered to buy our car. agreed on a price. no show and cancelling 4 times last minute and showed up late when they finally came. Had to take off work each time they said they would be there. This guy was rude and offered us $150. less then we agreed and we called him out on his way of handling the agreement and basically admitted to the scam and that's how they operate. to make you desperate and then rip you off! hence why the have 3 stars but should be 0 stars. becareful when dealing with these people. better yet don't do business with them!!!

HORRIBLE COMPANY! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Sent me an engine supposedly damaged during shipping. Blamed my shop for accepting the engine. Truck driver said it was like that when he loaded it. We did NOT accept the engine, the truck driver dumped it in my parking lot, refused to take it back to the seller. Sent photos of the engine to "Joe". He then took THREE WEEKS to send a truck to pick it up. Never told me that I was expected to provide a liftgate so the driver would not load the engine and didn't give me a chance to figure out how we could load it. "Joe" then called me names numerous times. I've owned auto repair shops for over 15 years and I've never been treated this poorly by a vendor. Meanwhile, a torn up engine still sits on my lot that I paid $2500 for it.

Driving back to Wisconsin, got a flat tire from a cracked rim 4 cans of fixaflat later; tire wasn’t holding air at all anymore! I found this place and flew there as my tire drained out completely; got a decent deal on rim and tire and they even put it on for me! THANKS GLOBAL AUTO!

Pretty decent place well-organized the guys up front knew what they were doing! got me what I needed and the part that didn't work, I brought back and they took $200 off the bill for my travel time and labor

Joey and his father Bill,are a couple of standup guy's, they have good work ethics,I will continue to do business with them.

After calling twice to confirm, they had a part. I drove all the way there. Paid for the part, waited for over an hour for them to find it. And then told me they didn't have it.

Fair price on a tire and rim. Call them for a spare tire and rim for my 1500 Sierra I was just going to get a metal rim for $50 when I got there the gentleman told me that the rim had a bend on it. He gave me an aluminum rim and tire for the same price of $50. The tire had some tread on it. I was just in need of a spare as I did not have one and did not feel like continuing to push my luck. So now my truck has five tires I will do business with this place again. The staff was friendly. They accept cash, debt, or credit if you use a credit card there is a 3% surcharge on the purchase
