YEARS LATER NO CONTACT. DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE IT TO COURT BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THE COURT. SENT MY CAR IN TO GET A IGNITION SWITCH AND IT CAME BACK NOT FIXED MY CAR CUT OFF AT TARGET.ASK THEM TO FIX IT AGAIN THEN MY CAR CAME BACK WITH WINDOW OUT AND MY TOP TORN(I SENT IT BACK BECAUSE THE IGNITION SWITCH WASN'T FIXED ALL THEY DID WAS PUT SOME OIL ON THE KEY LOL .MY CAR CAME BACK WITH A DAMAGED ROOF AND BACK WINDOW BLOWN OUT. I ASKED THEM NOT TO PUT ANY GLUE OR TAPE ON IT IF THE COULDN'T REPAIR THE DAMAGE BUT EVIDENTLY THEY DID IT ANYWAY.WHO PUTS FLEXY GLUE ON A CLOTH TOP? (EVEN ASKED FOR VIDEO OF HOW MY CAR WAS DAMAGED?) DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CAR BECAUSE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY.

It is without a doubt the best shop in the area. Over the years, Ogden Motorcar has maintained a wide variety of our cars and trucks, and I wouldn't take my business anywhere else. Tom and his team are very trustworthy and professional.

Tom and his crew continues to provide me with superior service. After 25 years I still rely on them for my automotive needs. Most recently they inspected my new 2019 VW Atlas SEL. They found a couple concerns I needed to address, after the dealership revealed what service they had performed, before offering the vehicle for sale. You can always be sure that they are going to recommend the things that require immediate attention and anything that might still have some life to it. This helps you budget any issues that may arise down the road.

July 28,2023,i searched on google maps this place and I choose to trust them to repair my car,and i drive my car to repair, i paid them for 260$ for only replacing that part(like the picture), i think it’s only a stick of iron, and i didn’t check my car and i drive it to home, second day , i drive my car to go play soccer game, ,after the game, i looked at the rear wheel, it showed me that a tool was still there! i’m shocked, and i called the boss, he said it’s safe to drive and he asked me to drive his place, no sorry to me, i really don’t know that he if finished with my car’s work! so it’s not a place to repair the car, they haven’t any worth to trust! and they don’t care about the client’s safety, they only care about the money!

I have had nothing but exceptional service since I started bringing my vehicle in to them. I had a minor concern regarding my brakes and they went above and beyond what other mechanics would have done. They checked over my vehicle and gave me peace of mind since I drive on the expressway a lot. I appreciate everything they did for me. I recommend these guys to everyone. I have never really found a mechanic I like, mostly because I hate paying labor. I got myself in a bind and thought I would try Ogden Motorcar. I dropped my BMW off this morning and Tom within about an hour called me with an idea of the repair. Then about 30 minutes later he called with a quote. I'm still in the middle of service but so far I am extremely happy with them and the communication. Mentioned he may be able to get the car back to me in a single day. Though I won't hold him to that, I got off the phone feeling good about who I left my car with and actually have some trust for my mechanic. Good business deserves good reviews. Thanks again Tom.

Can’t say enough good things about Ogden Motorcar. I am from out of state and Tom did a pre purchase inspection on a car I ended up buying. He determined it needed some work done. There was a mixup on my end as to when I’d be arriving to pick up the car and it was not going to be ready in time. I told Tom the importance of this pick up date as I would’ve needed to wait another week to come back had it not been ready. To stick to his word, Tom came in on his day off and worked for several hours until the car was complete and awaiting my pick-up on the day I had requested. By doing so, Tom prevented me from having to cancel my plans and re-arrange my vacation. Tom went above and beyond to stick to his word and maintain our agreed upon date. Tom’s willingness to go out of his way to work with my scheduled showed me just how committed he is to keeping his customers satisfied. I am not from the area but if I ever were to purchase another car nearby, Tom has earned me as a customer for life and I couldn’t be more grateful for the way he handled our business relationship. I’d recommend him to anyone for a job well done.

If there's any place to go for your car this is the place. We are always greeted with a smile from Tom when we come in, and he is always so friendly. Erik does a great job taking car of my car. Treats it as if it's his own, and really takes pride in his work. Always explains everything he does and what we can expect for the usual oil change visits. I’ve had a nightmare with my car since I got it and this shop has been the BEST at resolving any and all issues I have. I've been coming here for the past almost 5 years. I can tell you without a doubt there's no better, fair or friendly place to get work done on your car. I have never felt cheated or mislead. The owner airways has a smile on his face and you can tell he's a genuine person based off the atmosphere of the shop. All in all the best place to get work done on your vehicle.

I have been using Ogden Motorcar for several years and they never disappoint! Good quality service done in a timely manor. I'm always explained exactly what is wrong with my car, how it will be fixed, given a good price, and then any updates as needed. Tom is personable with his customers as well. St. Thomas Catholic Church, Naperville: Our Outreach Office has been helping in need families with car repair through Ogden Motorcar (and Tom) for 8 years. Their work has been outstanding. They find creative solutions that keep older cars on the road, safely. They give back to the community by providing us with significant labor discounts and parts at cost. We are writing this, in part, to correct a negative review regarding a “torn cloth top”. The tear did not happen while Ogden Motorcar had the car and Ogden Motorcar did not repair the tear. We know this because we took the car to Tom for other repairs (ignition switch & used steering column), which were done expertly. We took the car to another place for the tear repair.

It is rare nowadays to receive great service at great prices but that's exactly what Tom and his crew provides at Ogden Motorcar. He offers unparalleled service and superb pricing compared to dealerships and will work on all makes and models...there is always a variety of domestic and exotic vehicles in for service. Great service! Tom was very professional and communicated with me regularly about my vehicle. We had a couple hiccups. However Tom made it up and I appreciate all his effort. I will definitely bring my vehicle back to them! You can truly see they care about their service and customer satisfaction.

I've been trusting Ken, Tom and his technicians, going on 14 years. I have never felt cheated on any of the repairs over the years. The technicians work on anything from a Yugo to a Rolls Royce. In my off-roading days... they would always come through in a pinch to get a project completed. Things can get "crazy busy" but that's only because soooo many people know the wait is worth it. The trust you develop with this shop, keeps you coming back. This is a full service shop that does it all. Their front end alignments are the best around. You can be sure your hard earned money is put to good use and they're very thorough with diagnostics. Tom will tell you if "it's something that can wait" or "it will cost you more if you don't fix it now." Put your trust in this shop and you'll never be left feeling... should I have let some other franchise/dealer work on my car?

Tom and the team at Ogden Motor Car are the best. I truly appreciate that he gives you advice as if your car was his own. On more than one occasion I've taken cars there that dealerships told me were due for $1,000's of maintenance and left Ogden for a couple hundred dollars after Tom went through and identified those items that really needed to be done based on the actual condition of the car or component. He has also been great on being a true mechanic - finding cheap ways to fix things rather than the most expensive.
