I will never go there again, horable communication. I dropped my car off at 9am with many cars dropping of after my car and it was not even start working on it until 4pm. I was the last car to get finished. Do not go to this location.
Work order entered wrong. Took 2 calls to try to correct.promised it was corrected and showed up at repair center to find no windshield had been ordered.
Come back the following Wednesday …..glass is there but 3rd party they use to calibrate camera can’t get it to work.
Car needs to be brought to dealer to be calibrated
Total mess, waste of time and aggravation.
Was sent there by my insurance carrier……will ask them for alternatives if this ever happens again
Just unacceptable performance.
I ended up going to Gerber instead of Safelite but these people will under recommend ADAS calibration. Also they don’t have a process to submit a picture of windshield damage to tell me if a repair or replacement is needed. You have to show up with the car to do this. Still living in old fashioned ways. Staff were nice though.
Very convenient windshield replacement with a friendly and helpful staff: I was able to drop the car off the day before and was kept informed of the progress of the repair, PLUS staff were clear about when it will be safe to wash the car (which really needs it)…good location for glass replacement!
Jose went above and beyond giving excellent service installing new windshield and wipers! The rain wicks off the windshield nicely. I would definitely recommend safelite.
I needed a windshield for a 2011 Honda with a special visor tint at the top. I reached out to 3 different companies. Safelite in Addison was the best overall. Great experience and pricing. James was very helpful in arranging an appointment and confirming the windshield was the correct one. Jim the installer was great. Jim was very helpful with explaining the process of installing the windshield. Jim was very neat and made sure I was satisfied with the installation. I highly recommend Safelite. Terrible experience with entitled homeowners in my neighborhood. My cars windshield was deliberately damaged. We called Safelite, and two days later we had to drop our car off for service. My Husband was happy with service. Customer service was great. And easy to find location. Thank you.
Excellent friendly service and quick repair as promised. From the drop off at the office to the service technician who returned the vehicle upon completion and even the phone rep when making the appointment. Everything was quick and easy friendly and professional much appreciated. The repair looked great!
The windshield looks good at a good price. However, the interior trim of my car was cut by the technician and he did not have a working vacuum to clean the broken glass shards in the car.
I was left to clean the car on my own with many glass shards on the seat and in the air vents. I was told a manager would contact me about the trim that was cut by the technician. But I have not heard from anyone yet on day 3.
Safelite (Addison, Il) Mgr Todd provided excellent customer service! His crew replaced our windshield, on very short notice in record time - Superior quality work! Highly recommend!
I've had to use Safelite twice in the past few months (once for a passenger side window and once for the windshield - string of bad luck with rocks!) and both times they were incredibly communicative and did an excellent job in replacing the windows. Friendly technicians walked me through each step of the process and were quick in their service. Would highly recommend!
This was so easy. From the website user interface, the insurance billing, to the actual repair. I can't even believe this is a real experience I had from a company in the year 2025. Safelite is amazing.

And also the Rear View Mirror Cover Fell Off while I was Driving . NOT HAPPY
Glass technicians should be putting the EZ pass in the same place of the windshield they removed it from
I was just slapped with a pretty hefty toll bill because the cameras haven’t been able to read the pass where it was placed and now I can’t get it off to place it correctly
Very disappointed in the fact that when I called to scheduled my appointment for repair the representative said the repair comes with free wiper blades and rain guard to find out from the technician that these were add ons that were not included. Very poor business practice to position this a bonus but really it’s just their way of increasing the price for the repair.
Chose the glass replacement at my home. That was a bad idea. Have the driver park their van on the street. My technician parked his vehicle on my driveway and after he left there was a huge oil leak on my driveway. Windshield was performed fine as far as I can tell right now.
It was quick and easy!! The lady at the front desk was so nice and explained everything as did my technician after it was completed!! Made this whole process very smooth and easy. Booking online was also a breeze!
The customer service here was amazing! We took in our 2014 Volkswagon Jetta and it was done in less than an hour. We have had an IPass sitting in the car that we keep forgetting to get stickers for to hold up for a while now. When we got back in the car to take it home they had attached stickers and put it up on the windshield for us. The attention to detail is awesome. I hope we never need a new windshield again, but if we do we will definitely be coming back here!
SAFELITE are easy to work with and very professional. This is the 3rd time I needed a windshield. Matthew who installed my windshield was fantastic. He has 30 years experience. And did a great job. New windshield new wipers and rain repellant and Matt was done in a little over 1 hour. I wanted to tip him still do..if you have to use Safelite. Ask for MATT.. I am happy with the whole process.
I booked an 8am appt. and was out before 9:30! Very professional, efficient, and helpful. The tech answered my questions and even took me back to explain the adhesive process. If my 2016 MINI Cooper ever needs more glass work, or another windshield replacement, this is the first place I'd call. The new glass looks amazing- thanks for the service!

We received several notifications about our appointment and what will be done, which we appreciated. Our Teck Dylan was fantastic with letting us know when the car would be complete and ready for pick up. He discussed the calibration and, explained everything perfectly. Worked well with my insurance company to make sure everything went smooth. No problems, great service and HIGHLY recommend this shop!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They started the work right away and finished way faster than quoted. And even after a massive storm hit just three days after service, the windshield still seems perfect and is leak free. Thanks much.

I’m sorry we just don’t have placemats for your car while we replace your window so here’s some mud on the baseboard carpet hope you can clean it out! I was so excited to get my broken glass replaced and ugh the experience was good with the exception that one of the managers didn’t care about my situation just played it down let the picture show you what I found when i picked up my car. Also let’s not forget I found small fragments of glass all over dashboard. Still waiting for a call back but no one seems to care
I had my wife take our car to have the windshield replaced on 07/01/2021. Upon coming home and talking with her about the experience and inspecting our car, I was not impressed. Here is a list of what I noticed/ was told.
1. My wife was told that there would be neon tape on after the installation and to keep the tape on for 2 hours- there was no tape.
2. My wife couldn't find our state farm beacon when the installation was finished. She had to go back inside and ask the technician for it. They searched the car and found that it was under the seat- this should have been done prior to returning the car.
3. The weather stripping around the windshield seems to be poorly installed. Im no expert in this, but the seams don't seem to be quality work- will it leak? Time will tell.
4. This was the most frustrating for me. When I inspected the car that afternoon I noticed that the trim panel by the windshield wiper wasn't properly installed (it was sticking out), therefore I had to pop it back into place myself. Upon further investigation I found 2 crucial parts missing from the cowl (push fasteners). Without these in, the entire plastic trim that meets the windshield flexes- one would think this would be reinstalled correctly.
5. Wiper blade installation prices are astronomical at $29 a side. Totaling $64.
Overall, my expectations were higher of Safelite and it is obvious that the work done here is rushed and not one of quality. I would not come here again.
