These people are scam artists and extortionists , they put a prices as much they want, My car was drivable and they won’t let me drive after I paid everything and they saying maybe there is a liquid maybe it gonna leaked but the car hitting from the side, and i told them i can ask a towing guy to tow from their yard but they won’t let me and they said u have to pay $150 extra or we are towing for ur house for $200 , I didn’t even saw something like that before, scaaaaaamers

Completely disrespectful people who run this place. Would not recommend! Pressured me to have my car towed to their facility, and treated me poorly on the phone after being in a horrible accident. I don’t believe they have any idea what “customer service” is. Bogus charges on the bill for 100$ to remove/put on plates! Um hello they fell off in the accident. I’d fully support a family owned business if they knew how act respectful and honest. Only nice person was the young lady who released my car. The owner no where in site when I picked up! Wonder why! SHADY!
I don't understand the negative reviews here. I read them before getting my car back and was terrified. I was in an accident and my car was totaled. I only have good things to say about this place. The rates were standard and when I needed to get it towed somewhere else they gave me a deal on it. I think people here write bad reviews because they were in a car accident and now they have to pay more. They provide a service and deserve to get paid. Just pick up your car as soon as possible or the daily fees add up quick but that is true no matter what tow yard you are dealing with.
Your truck has not just two but six obnoxiously bright and road illegal bulbs installed in its headlights. For a company dealing with auto truck services you sure as hell make it difficult to drive home from work at sundown. The rest of the reviews say enough.

So I decided to call and ask how much it is to release my car from this tow company. They first said $460 then tell me it’s $540. I asked how did it just jump all of a sudden. My car has been in their possession for less than 1 hour. Then they called me back to tell me only the register owner can pick the car up and cash only. I then started to ask questions when a man got on the phone and starting to tell me this is their prices and if I didn’t pick up the car the price would go up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOW! I put myself in this situation but Palos Hills Police don’t care.
Tow truck driver, who was sitting in the office asked for money to pass note with ph number down to the other party involved in an accident.
After being asked directly about his weird proposal, he got extremely anxious and demanded I leave office.
Car they towed needed NO TOWING. AND IM SURE THEY WILL CHARGE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR THAT 5 MILE TOW

If you want to get robbed use these guys! If not, stay away & find a different towing! There is premium rate & then there is A Auto robbery rate which is well above market rate with ridiculous assessorial charges. Good luck talking to them as they have the BAD customer service & not to mention bad attitude as if they are doing you a huge favor. I had no choice but to use them as the state police wouldn't allow me to get a different towing company & now, I understand why.
The driver at "a auto-truck" was very Rude, Disrespectful and acted like towing my car was a bother.
I had my car towed in Palos park IL to Alsip IL about 7 miles apart and was charged a high rate of $300, and with poor attitude.
He also just landed my car anywhere at the drop off location on a diagonal which was in residential lot Infront of other people's cars.
Using a tow truck company in general is stressful this company or person that tows for it will make it more stressful.
My vehicle was involved in an accident on Friday (6pm) and i had to leave the scene to go to the hospital with my girlfriend. The Palos park police department had my vehicle towed to A Auto truck service. According to Illinois law, retrieval of towed vehicle must be available at the same hours that towing is available. The company website dictates that they have 24/7 towing. I called the company on Saturday, requested to retrieve my vehicle and was informed that the tow yard was closed until Monday 9am to 430pm. I called them at noon on the 27th asking about charges and what proof of insurance would be necessary. Informed them that they had violated the law previous stated but dismissed my comment and told me if i wanted to pick my vehicle up, i would need to pay in cash, which Illinois law states that the person taking possession of the car can decide if they want to do cash, check card etc. Upon arrival at the towing yard at 330 on Monday, I attempted to call a Palos hills officer to assist me with the retrieval of my vehicle without illegally getting taken advantage of, but they would not send an officer. I went it, asked for itemized bill and went through everything with the front desk employee. I was unable to take a look, request pictures or see the car in any way before taking possession, which is another violation of the law. In total, I was charged $1170, $320 of that charge was for 4 days in the yard, which it was in for 69 hours. (Friday 7pm to Monday 4/430pm) I attempted to dispute this charge but was met with the owner angrily demanding that i do not waste his time, make better decisions and learn from my mistakes. Overall, i am extremely disappointed that this is the company that Palos Park police department forced me to deal with and given the opportunity to take advantage of me in this situation. If i could give negative stars, this would have them all.

Very rude, they gave me a 90 minute ETA. Didn't show up 4 hours later. At the end the added extra fees. And they refused to drop my vehicle. Horrible experience

They're not professional becareful if you're using their services when they. Tow y our semi they will not be responsible if something happens to your truck on the way to Dealership , i will not recommend it and they're really expensive my truck was missing fuel cover part when we arrive to peterbilt because stupid driver was texdting and driving and not looking sides mirrors
Best towing experience! My Car broke down on the side of the road and within 15 min someone was able to get to my location and help us. They made a horrible situation stress free and fast. Not to mention the very professional and knowledgeable crewman that helped us out.
A Auto is the only towing company to trust. They are local and well respected for a reason! They all are amazing! I have (unfortunately...for me) have had to use them for a BMW M3 and a totaled Subaru. They will go above and beyond to make sure you are okay and well taken care of (and your car as well). My M3 was treated with care and returned home safely after having a tire sliced by a piece of wire on the highway. The Subaru was rescued by Charlie. The police allowed the car to be towed by a random company (who was going to take the car FAR north) and he was able to see it and get it safely into his care!! I couldn't recommend them more! Everyone there is AMAZING!!
Great company. Very experienced operators and always willing to go the extra mile to help someone in need on the road. I would highly recommend if someone needs service or a tow in the area.
