Reliable, knowledgeable and proficient staff. I was greeted immediateky, advised on estimate time, and invited to have a seat. After the car inspectikn i received a text and email detailing the findings. Jesse explained all fibdings thoroughly. Thank you Jesse a d staff. I will be back again and will refer friends and coworkers.
Jessie was very friendly and informative. I was able to see the problem with my car before it was repaired. I also received a link with the video of the work being done. That was nice! The technician completed the repair in a timely manner. The atmosphere in the shop is warm and inviting. I would recommend this shop for your car needs.
We always have a great experience at this Midas, and Jesse is the reason we keep coming back. He’s personable, friendly, and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. Even when we had an unfortunate rodent issue in the car (including the smell 😬), Jesse and the team were kind, professional, and did a fantastic job. They always provide photos and clear explanations, which we really appreciate. Our whole family goes out of our way to come to this location despite it not being the closest, highly recommend.
Excellent service. My car was towed to Midas at 5pm and it was ready by noon the next day. The young man who helped me was very straight forward about my car and what it needed. He was polite and explained everything throughly to me. I highly recommend this Midas store.
I love these guys! They're out of my way but I come here for all of my maintenance. They're very trustworthy, straight shooters and won't ever try to sell you things you don't need. A lot of shops see us gals coming. Miraculously you need a bunch of work done after they take a look. 😂

Jessie and the team always take care of me at Midas. I’ve taken all of my vehicles here since 2020 and they have always treated us great. Really gives us a family feel. Anyone that needs car work I always send their way.

Went in today for services for my car and my husband vehicle Jesse and Nick are both wonderful , very trustworthy , they told us what needed to be done now and also what could wait for another time , not pushy very happy with our service we both had brakes done on vehicles battery replaced and oil change along with new filters
This midas is a joke. Twice now I have sent family in for alignments in the last year after making repairs myself, and twice my family members have been treated like they are stupid. I wouldnt recommend anyone to this shop as this is ridiculous. Go to a real shop with real mechanics that want to help and not just want your money.
Needed my heater repaired and our former repair shop just didn’t seem up for the job. Was recommended to Palos Midas and to speak to Jesse. Boy am I glad I did. He diagnosed the correct problem and had it up and running like a charm. Jesse was very knowledgeable and trustworthy and I feel we have found a new home.

I was able to get an appointment the same day I called for an oil change and tire rotation. They completed the work fairly quickly, the cost was reasonable and service was great!

If you're looking for a friendly, professional, and honest auto shop, Midas in Palos Hills is for you! I’ve been going there for years - Jesse does a great job at keeping me updated on what is needed on my vehicle. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. It’s nice to have the peace of mind, knowing everything is done correctly. I will continue going to this shop and encourage anyone else in the area to do the same.

Don’t go to this place or trust this store. Family member was told he needed to replace catalytic converter (most expensive repair they have) got a second opinion and it was only a loose gas cap. Scammers
Have been going here for quite a while . All the employees are friendly, and And professional. And Jesse takes the time to explain in laymans , not the shop talk, If I don’t understand something. I had new back brakes put on
Midas wanted $5400 to fix my mom's car. Brought it down to $4800. Still it's highway robbery attempting to take advantage of sweet woman. My fiancé is a skilled mechanic and diesel tech. He told me to relay something they just ignored. They marked up literally everything including parts and some kits not needed. We told them, no thank you. My fiancé did everything; parts…just $442 for everything. Her car runs beautifully now thanks to him. Granted he didn't charge my mom labor, but still if you take that into account and even add $2K for that, it's about still double the cost. His dad owned a business, I understanding they have to make a profit, but this was so outrageously marked up. Never again.
I am extremely impressed with the knowledgeable employees and how very detail minded they are. I told them exactly what the vehicle was doing and requested a thorough mechanical check under the hood, tires, etc. They even stayed with-in my budget by reporting back every so often for my approval on other areas needing attention, ( which I expected on an older vehicle anyway). If you haven't tried this Midas, you're missing out on the old fashion honest way of doing business! Jessie Alverez and all the rest of the crew, thank you so very much! I'll definitely be back when needed!
Jesse and his crew are amazing. This is at least my third time at this location. The service is always excellent and so is the quality of work. Jesse has such an awesome disposition. Customer service, knowledge, and quality of work 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

We took it to Midas and Jessie Alvarez listened to our description of the problems, had our car driven around so that it could be accurately experienced, and then gave us an honest diagnosis of the problems. He was very helpful so we can now decide more confidently just what to do with this car, and when to replace it.
