My mother went to the O’Reilly’s in Chicago Heights today regarding an issue that she has been having with her car. Specifically, her engine light was on, and she needed some assistance with the next steps. I don’t have the name of the woman who assisted her, but she was extremely helpful. My mom was able to get her car fixed. Everything is working properly. She purchased a part from O’Reillys and it was cheaper than what a competitor was telling her. So it was just better service overall. And I just want to thank the employee there that helped my mom today. I am extremely grateful.
Had a great experience buying from O’Reilly. They got the parts I needed very quickly and one of their team members, Josh, was especially helpful and kind. He was very detailed and informed me of all I needed to know about what I purchases like the warranties. He gave me two copies of my receipt in case I lost one. I’d return
I needed Tire Rods, and checked around several Auto Parts Stores, but mostly I was told that they needed to be special ordered, but O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Chicago Heights, IL had them. I spoke with the Parts Specialist named Rod 😎, who took care of my order over the phone. Before I got in the store, I saw him running to bring me my car parts, and gave me a discount too. Man that was fantastic 🤩!! I was in and out of the store in 5 minutes. Now that is what I call great service! 👊 WORD!! Margaret
I had to start over, because when asking Google a question it deleted what I was doing. Anyway, as I was saying, I have been here before, but not 4 days ago. I think my location was confused with the Dollar Tree, next door. I have been here, before, though. It seems like it's basically the same as Auto Zone or O'Reilly's, across the street and up the street. They all sell basically the same things. Whichever one I go to depends on any dissimilar features, or which one has what I need, which is cheapest and which one was the most convenient to go to, at the time. I find some things, such as headlights, to be more expensive, by a couple of dollars, at all 3, than to go to Ace Hardware, but, sometimes, the Ace, in Steger closes early, and the one, in Crete, is less convenient to go to. Like I said, it's alot of circumstantial variables which store I pick.
I just went for a car battery and wiper blades. I was greeted in a very welcoming way which I appreciated very much. Josh was incredible in walking me through the process of changing the car battery and wipers. He was also very honest about what I needed without focusing on making sales. He is a very honest person and very professional. I would give this location a 10/5 if I could! I highly recommend them for all of your car needs!
If I could give this store zero stars I would never in the history since I have shop with them have I had issueTthis is my second time coming in and the store manager not knowing what she is talking about or doing .As somebody who works as a manager in customer service this lady does not need to work with customers ,her attitude sucks and not to mention if a customer is telling you this is where she got her breaks from and you can see in the system who are you to argue with her . It’s called customer service which she clearly doesn’t have never coming back to this location or company .
Found my parts for me , and even though that store didn't have my parts in stock at that location, they referred me to a store nearby that did!!! Great job guys , and thank u very much !!!
Today my son visited O'Reilly's because I recommended it to him. I know in the past they have always helped customers with minor bulb changes and or brake lights etc. This occured only if they were able to reach the item without causing damages (which I do understand). It is my understanding that my son and husband went there between the hours of 1230-115 approixamately. The guy who waited on them was extremely rude to the point my son had to tell him not to talk to him that way. My husband who is a retail manager for another operation came home and told me how rude the guy was. The employee went on to tell them, I'm not doing that I'm by myself. My son told me, excuse me sir I don't know how your system works and you will not talk to me this way. I want to put this out here, because I know how some people are treated in various areas of suburbans. When we visit the O'Reillys in Oak Forest, they are extremly respectful, professional and intelligent, unlike this staff member in the Chicago Heights, Western Avenue Store. My suggestion is if you don't want to work or you are stressed due to circumstances beyond the customers controll, please do the customers a favor and stay at home. None of us want to be treated in this way or deal with negativity as a consumer. I'm extremely disapointed in your behavior.
i came here on my lunch break to test my battery and they were able to do so quickly and also give me a printed out quote for an alternator. thats really handy and saves me a lot of trouble.
Super satisfied with the customer service I received. Called the store to find my warranty on some brake pads and Victor helped me out, got my receipt reprinted and my parts warrantied out. I recommend asking for Victor, he will take care of you!
Inaccurate inventory. Could have gone to one store to buy everything i needed, but due to inaccurate inventory, had to pick up remainder of parts i needed at another store that i could have gone to in the first place for everything.
Not the end of the world, but rather frustrating.
The customer service wasn't good. The prices aren't friendly which is very unusual for their store visited. The poster on the door said 50% discount for a product, I bought it and never received the discounted amount
Needed to find a product M/peet the counter service was the best guy for the job made sure I had the proper part made me feel confident that I could install the part
Five star hang out! These guys are fantastic and I’m not sure what her name was but the girl that was working here this morning at the front counter knows her stuff! If O’Reillys were smart they put her in charge of a few stores! actually my receipt says her name was “Jessica S.”. Great job!
