Log Cabin Village in
Quincy (IL)

A small little village with very well kept buildings. The buildings used to be unlocked they were all locked so that was a bummer. There are trails that people walk that lead to the river if you’re looking for a little more . Over all it’s a great place to enjoy.

What a neat place. We had a birthday party there and it was cool to see the cabins.

I wish there was going to be a fun festival this year like last year since I'm here in 2025. I would have enjoyed it.

This park is quiet and a bit out of the way. The playground equipment is updated as of the summer of 2024. It's cool and shady.

Going across the single lane bridge is worth it!! The log Cabin Village was great, and the gentleman at the marina gate was so helpful pointing out sites to see

I just love the space and air from the trees, very peaceful place to go to get away and relax to see the water front

Great hiking trails

I liked the historical aspect of the Log Cabin Village, but I went on a Saturday when none of the cabins were open. I don't know if it was worth traversing the one-lane bridge that is barely bigger than the width of a car, but it was interesting nonetheless. If you take a RV or a school bus or something over that bridge, you're a better person than me and must have nerves of steel, so good on you!

A rustic setting enclosing a mid-19th century log cabin village which has original structures that evoke the historic atmosphere of that era. Charming and delightful on an island along the Mississippi River open year-round without charge for visitors or anyone wishing to step back in time to frontier life in the Midwest.

Truly loved being there, just my woman and I. Very raxing, and ckmforting.

Looks like a work in progress as a cabin looks to have recently been constructed. Pretty cool if you're interested in historic cabins.

The log cabin village is a lovely and scenic representation of the early Quinsippi Island settlement. The cabins are fairly well maintained although occasionally there are unfortunate acts of vandalism, and there is a small playground and restrooms along with the private boat ramps.

Loved the walk and the History of the cabins.

Very fun time. Enjoyed playing checkers for the first time with my granddaughter
