Update: 9/23/24 Would not let me retrieve items from car before sent to Atlanta airport. Helped the migrants who are following lose all my possessions. My entire wardrobe as a math teacher, laptop and wallet.
The lady working the desk was soo nice. After having the worst day ever she let me use the restroom and had my husband's car pulled around for me by the time I was done. Just very friendly people and a light I needed in the middle of a very hard day for my family. Thank you for being so kind to me.
This man is salt of the earth….he has helped me on numerous occasions and I need to do something for this man and his loving wife… Don’t get it twisted, he’s got a job to do and he toes for the county. I only wish that everyone had his heart
Head’s wrecker service was dispatched by Dawson Co when I was in an accident. The gentleman who arrived on scene was very kind & caring. He stayed in touch with me the following day in regards to me being able to collect my items from the vehicle prior to it being picked up by my insurance company. Once I got there to pick up my items, he helped with removing my tag without me having to ask & both staff members were very welcoming & accommodating. I’d recommend this company to anyone in need of a tow.
Owner was immature and childish, saying if I couldnt get out of jail within 30 days he was going to own my car. This is after he told me what the tow cost was and daily impound fee that he said increases daily. Fayette county really must know this guy . Like a judges son ,or Chief of police brother in law. In order for him to keep towing cars for the county without any positive remarks about this shady company. Time for Fox 5 investigation. They just might find out just how crooked this county can be not just this company
I would like to recognize The driver John. He worked my sons wreck and was so nice to him and helped us tremendously. Highly recommend this company !!!
Very friendly business. I had an elderly customer on the phone with me asking questions regarding his vehicle while getting it released. The gentleman that was on the phone with me was very kind, patient, and understanding while I answered the customer's questions and gave me all the information needed to remove their vehicle. I saw some reviews that were not flattering but these guys were amazing they were super friendly and helpful. Their equipment is modern and newer. A+ service.
Towed my car from an accident that wasn't my fault. Forsyth County sheriff said that I had to use them. Guy was very rude and unprofessional to the point of talking down to me. Demanded $350 in cash immediately to tow the car 2 miles up the road to my house, I assume he was upset that he couldn't bend someone over on their lot fees. I've had vehicles towed for a multiple reasons by other companies and was never treated so badly. I'd be ashamed to know or work for/with people like this.
It's a shame that this place is still in business. You'd be better off trying to push your car down the road than dealing with these guys. Crooks in every sense of the word. I hope life gives you what you deserve. If you hate dealing with people or towing cars maybe you should find another "career".
I would like to recognize tow truck driver “John ” at Head’s Wrecker Service for his kindness and for coming out on a Sunday to tow my deer hit vehicle and secured it in their tow lot until I got back to them on Monday through Progressive insurance. John defiantly deserves a pay raise for what he does best at his job. He always attended to my phone calls and answered all my questions with super great patience.
These wonderful people towed me out of the mud. Quickly came and we’re very kind and courteous. Customer service at its best when customer service is no more. Highly recommended!
Mr. Head was extremely accommodating and helpful! He towed our car to our preferred mechanic shop and waited patiently while we talked with the mechanic about our car needs. He was professional, helpful and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taking care of. Our family will be using Heads Body Shop and Tow again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, trustworthy Body Shop/Tow Company. Thank you again, Mr. Head!
It's a rip off. If they tow your vehicle on a Friday, forget about it. They are closed on weekends, but still charge you for those days. It's a po-dunk wrecker service at some guys house. Redneck cronies at their best. Major reason why cousins shouldn't marry cousins.
Embarrassing. Only in the US can a business be run so crudely. Clearly there's money being passed between hands for the county to use this business for towing. And the charge was double a usual tow cost. Just because exploitation is the new American way I guess...
Here's a suggestion, if you don't want to release cars in the morning, don't take tows at night. Never heard of a body shop that stays closed till 9. Must not be very busy.
To cap it off the guy was rude, slow and a clear supporter of fascist politics. Avoid this business at all costs. Avoid this county at all costs.
My husband was in a wreck, he showed up and towed the truck to HIS house to so call save us money, He TRIED to get money on the side . I called him to get our belongings out of the truck, he said yes .I ask if we could bring him the original wheels that was on it and get the ones on it off cause they were my husbands brothers that passed away in a wreck. And he was flat out rude. Its not like we were gonna leave it there with no tires and wheels. After being a smart mouth we finally said he can just have the truck. Hes gonna make a good bit on just the wheels. Then scrap the truck.
Do not use him for nothing. Very rude and unprofessional, does not have a care in the world about people and their belongings. As long as he's making a $ thats all that matters. Why do people only care about money.

I did not authorize any wrecker service, as I gave MTA Automotive full authority in handling all my vehicles.
Mr. Head showed up and to tow truck next door he tried to charge me $300, then the fee went to $400. I had a fit huge and lowd and didn't spare any curse words.
He dropped off my truck and didn't charge me anything. I think he was in a rush to get away from this assertive southern woman.
We should have right to choose our own tow service like we choose our own repair service.
Wonderful experience! My son's car was brought here after his accident and Mr. Head went above and beyond helping me in understanding what the process was after an accident. He made certain I could access the car for my son's eyeglasses ... just a wonderful gentleman. I am so appreciative of his kindness and professionalism.
After accident and vehicle totaled this guy would not allow removal of auto tags to cancel registration of vehicle. When explained to tag office they noted and I didn't have to have them. Insisted I pay three hundred ($300) dollars to get inside to vehicle; they'll make money selling for scrap. Why county uses them beyond me. Lost personal keys to my home, other vehicles, legal papers related to insurance, etc. and very small amount of sentimental items. Being a rip off isn't as bad as unethical business black mailing folks.
