I am grateful for the excellent service I get here. They are helpful, polite and take time to teach me when I bring in new types of scrap I don't know well. Maria is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

I come here a lot to buy stuff, sometimes to take stuff (don't take that out of context), their prices (for buying) are usually fine, the only problem is that they don't really pay all that well, other than that, its a nice place
Acted like they were not interested when I called. So young asian sounding girl answered and went and ask mechanic! Said they didn't have it without checking!
It's a quick in and out when you're dropping off scrap metal, and a good place to find used parts if you sift through the items dropped off by others. But you'll need your own tools to disassemble the item and get to the part you need. Happy hunting :-)
I called to see if they payed for aluminum can recycling. Yes, they pay $4 per hundred pounds. No wonder no one recycles here. In Michigan you pay 10 cents a can when you buy the product and get back 10 cents a can when you take it to recycling. What can I say "The South"
Worst place to take scrap! The guy that works at the scales in back is incredibly rude. And they say they are open until 5:00, but I have been there 3 times at 4:40 and the gates are locked! These people act like they don't want to be bothered with customers. Alpharetta pays much better, and I love the guys there!
THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM! after a year of saving cans from 4 people that daily drink out of cans we made 24 bucks! We had well over 100lbs of cans. We weighed a few of the bags before coming to United.. some of the bags by themself was 30 lbs a piece and we had about 4 of those bags and about 20 grocery bags full..Put it on there scale and it said 2lbs for the biggest bags I had?? I wasn't sure if i was just reading it wrong or what... Also said they had to take some weight off becuase of my bags so after taking 20 minutes to take the cans out of the bags.. I looked on the final receipt and they took 7 off for bags lol i took them out of the bags.... I couldnt even use there trash can to throw my bags away in had to out them back in the vehicle. This place is a lie! Chambers recycling is the way to go! United deserves jail time for THEFT!
Great place to bring Scrap and also have a variety of items whether your looking for outside equipment ,Car parts, motorcycle parts and even resturant equipment. Over all Awsomw place and friendly staff.
They always give you the least amount for all your scrap. Last trip I checked and I had tin and steel they listed the whole load as tin which pays $1 per ton less. Go somewhere else if you're looking for honesty.
Great place to take scrap metal and old appliances. Nice folks there will help you unload if you need it. Been there twice now good experience both times.
Tried to. Put. My copper wire as #2 copper. I went there instead of Dixie. Because I was close next time I will wait. I got a receipt on paper computers are down. I weighed it when I left and the numbers are way off . I striped cords from the wash and dryer counted as number two. I may look DUMB BUT NOT PLUM DUMB. SO TO ALL WHO. READ THIS .....KNOW THEY ARE CROOKED. DONT GO THERE
I bought a part that didn't work. I returned it and they gave me a voucher that was only valid for 30 days when I assumed it would be longer. I'm now out the money I spent. What a waste of money. Don't bother going there!!
