Went up to this location today to get some help with my car battery, and Anjuan was an amazing help! He was very kind and thorough with testing the battery and the error codes, and seamlessly helped us find exactly the new battery we needed. Installing the new battery took no time at all, and thanks to his kindness and professionalism what was a very stressful day turned into an easy fix.

I have NEVER had such an AWFUL experience like this my entire life. First I dropped off a car battery around 1pm and only 1 person (that I can see) was in the store at the time. The guy says it’ll take about 30/35 mins, I said that’s fine. Before leaving I went to check the oil prices then left shortly after. Upon returning near 2:30/3pm they suddenly not only can’t locate my battery but insinuated that I was lying and never came in, stating “sometimes people try to act like they brought things up here to get free stuff.” I’m not one of those people. The assistant manager, JD, was so excessively rude and unprofessional from start to finish even though she was not present at the time of drop off or at least was not visible upon arrival but she lied anyway saying she was there. JD was constantly frowning with an ugly attitude and cutting me off/speaking to me like some child the full time. After checking the cameras they tried to gaslight me into believing I came in at 10:30am because they assumed another guy with a hoodie on was me which literally was not possible, I was working at that time and stated that. This almost escalates into a fight with JD in the store after I simply just asked for their names to contact corporate but once again there was just absolutely no mutually respectful in the conversation. Jay, who is the individual that I originally left the battery with, was respectful, understanding, and pleasant the entire time. JD on the other hand was hostile and trying to control the conversation and even got very parental when I tried to speak by shutting me down every explanation. Again even when I asked for her name she gave it to me with the nastiest attitude. WORST EXPERIENCE IN ANY STORE I’VE EVER HAD. Not only was the experience horrible but I now have no battery at all. Please be careful when visiting this store, it is not worth the time or hassle!

I came in without much knowledge of what exactly I needed, and Lee was able to point me in the right direction. I didn’t make a purchase that day, but I came back the next day and Mahad helped me as well. Both team members were knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. I really appreciated their help!

Store 9731 is the absolute BEST!!! Javon and Jaquan are usually always there and always have exceptional customer service! From their recommendations to going over and beyond is heaven sent! This is literally THE only store I go to just for their expertise and warm welcoming. You know it got to be good if I’m doing a review!!!!

Sunday they closed at 8 pm ??? Why , they have a paper in The door . Supposed to be they closed at 8:30 . They are inside doing nothing , why they hiring lazy people. Manager need to check what going on

Excellent customer service! I came in intending to purchase items for a new battery I just had purchased from another advance auto and had installed yesterday and the manager Shan was very welcoming, professional and informative. She gave me more information on battery maintenance than anyone in any auto parts store had ever given. Even more than my mechanic. In addition she went above and beyond to help me even offering to clean the connectors from residual corrosion and install the pads and lubricant. She started and then she went to get Juan to come help and finish. He was professional and very helpful. He cleaned the connectors and parts and all this while it was raining. I was not expecting this at all. I came in to purchase items I thought I was going to have to get someone else to do for me and instead the team at advance auto on Rockbridge Road treated me like they were my mechanic and provided customer service you rarely see these days. I had never been to this location before, but because I was passing by I figured I would stop rather than driving back to the original location from yesterday. Now that I know the staff and manager at this location are professional and know what they are doing and talking about, I will come here from now on for my auto needs.

I want to leave this place of five star I called a hundred Advance Auto Parts this is the only one that knew what they were talking about there was a nice woman and a nice gentleman who helped me with all my knowledge and everything I needed the other Advance Auto Part people seem like they're working there just to get the money at the other stores they didn't have any knowledge thank you to this Advance Auto Parts

Great customer service and efficient. Jamal was especially helpful and offered excellent customer service. I also met Juan, John and Tia when I made a return, they are all very pleasant and I was very satisfied to see the quality people this owner is hiring.. please give Kudos to your staff for jobs well done. I'm now switching to advanced auto for all of my automotive needs. Please let your staff know I'm writing this review. A pizza party is in order ?

Went to pick up a UPS package. The employee cleaning the parking lot said good morning before I had a chance to and the woman at the counter was pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be using this store for my auto parts needs from now on. Great job hiring the right people manager!!!! ?

Antwon B. Was wonderful. He greeted me as soon as he saw me unlike his fellow associate. Not only did he help me recharge my car battery, he also helped me to buy jumper cables & antifreeze. He was very knowledgeable and friendly! Advance auto parts need more associates like him.

Awesome, awesome customer service! Gentlemen with the glasses and the paperwork in his back pocket that comes out to put your windshield wipers on really makes the store run! We drove past another another auto place just to come and receive great service. I wish I remembered his name. But go to this location, he will take care of you. ?

I love the store and they ALWAYS have the parts I need but today's visit was well below THE STANDARD. During a Peak Hour of the afternoon there was ONE Customer Service Representative in the store ALONE for about 20 minutes. Because of the lines getting backed up I saw three customers behind me put items back on the shelf and leave. Advance usually gets 5 stars but this visit was unsatisfactory.

I came to have my battery checked and had to purchase a new battery. I came into the store and they were very professional. They checked the status of my original battery and determine that I needed a new one. I purchased a Diehard Platinum and I'm very satisfied indeed. I was able to be in-and-out in under 20 minutes. I appreciate the swift attention and the service excellence experienced. Additionally, I was able to use my military discount. Thank you very much.

Always polite, friendly and helpful. I like it that they have both males and females employed there. The other day, my Check Battery light showed up. Not only did they change the battery for me, they showed me why I needed a new one (the old one was bulging at the sides and could have burst open if they hadn't caught it). Today, my car put up a Mystery check engine light out of the blue, and they checked the car for codes (6 of them showed up!) and printed it all out at no charge. Not long ago, I ordered a part on line and, for various reasons, had to return it. They took it back and refunded my money with no problems. Plus, the Speed Perks mean I get $5 or $10 discounts every time I buy stuff. Gotta love that!!
