This place really needs some help getting new staff that actually wanna work. I work near the area and I recently had my fleet truck towed here due to a flat tire. The tow guy was amazing, but as soon as I got into this shop, it was nothing but an overworked manager at the front desk and only one tech was in the shop fixing up everyone's cars. He had to call another tech while they were off to get people moving along, while more customers where trying to set appointments. This same tech who was off, had to bring in a jump to Jumpstart my battery. (Battery died while it was in the shop) The tech took forever to show up and you can tell that management was all over the place. I would wait until this shop gets new mechanics when bringing your vehicle here.

A simple oil change and tire patch ended up costing me $600 in correcting their work. They broke my tire sensor while patching my tire. And a simple oil change….. broke my oil filter housing and they tightened my oil pan bolt too tight. Please do not take your car here, you will leave with more problems than you came with. They are just terrible.. from the white boy in the challenger to the skinny boy with dreads. They do not know what they are doing. Never never never again

This store has made me loose all faith in mechanics. I’m truly heartbroken by the way this man talked me out of 409.00 that I didn’t have to begin with. First I called and asked if this particular shop did a service, they said yes. I ok the car to the shop and let them put it on a smoke machine which I know didn’t happen. My son was with me and knows a little about cars. I do too but I had faith in them. this light skinned guy told me that something I never heard of was wrong with my car. Which my car was cranking up perfectly it was skipping as I excelerated. They did whatever it was they did and I took it home next day on my way home it cut off as I was driving in the middle of the freeway almost cause me to get into a major accident. Then after I called them he said bring the car back so I can look at it. How? You know I can’t cause it’s not moving. It’s still on the highway right now

Read the reviews before taking your car here. History of causing damage to your car once you leave it unattended, bad customer service, price gouging and horrible leadership that lets the employees run a muck like they live there. No proper supervision and the staff isn't friendly. Take your car to Neighborhood Tire Pros & Auto Service on Memorial Drive & you'll be happy you did ! Don't make the same mistake I did.

BEWARE. Don't let the big name fool you ! Was in the lobby the other day and saw how a paying patron was treated and watched as the store manager Patrick ordered his workers to remove the car battery from the young ladies car and made derogatory comments. I didn't get the whole story but I did hear her say when she dropped off her car they never suggested a battery repair and it was starting just fine. I guess she left it at this location for several days and when she came to pick it up was told by the manager it was now not starting. In a very aggressive and intimidating way they rushed to her car and removed it very happy that she couldn't drive off. After seeing this treatment blatantly happen with no regard I decided to go to Firestone. It appears they just hire anyone and don't care about customer service. I tried to call and speak with someone about what I saw but they don't follow up with customers but they want you to think they do. Very scratchy.

I purchased a $199.99 battery from Pep Boys on Stone Mountain near Memorial Drive. The battery failed within the 1-year warranty period; I returned with my receipt and asked for the warranty replacement, but the store refused to honor it. The staff — particularly an employee named Mr. Martin — were aggressive and confrontational. This was unacceptable customer service and feels dishonest. I strongly advise you to take your business elsewhere and document all paperwork if you encounter the same issue. specifically an employee named Mr. Martin. Based on how the transaction and the refusal were handled, I suspect an employee may have processed a void or otherwise mishandled the sale to pocket the money. This feels like potential fraud and is unacceptable. I strongly advise avoiding this location and urge Pep Boys corporate to investigate immediately.

Today at 12:50 I walked into the Memorial location in my neighborhood that I will be using for the last time. I noticed a screw In my truck tire. After purchasing my tires with warranty I rolled in there for a repair. The gentleman behind the desk gave no hello, welcome or anything. I was told system was down. Ok no big deal. I ask can they pump my tire ? He says yes and directs me to the pump to do myself. Complete no customer service. Totally unacceptable. Do better ya”ll.

I wouldn’t recommend going to Brandon. He worked on my car and didn’t fix it. I asked if I could get half of the money back and he decides he wants to fix it but always switches what day he will come. I also let him know he used the wrong coolant on my car he proceeds to tell me that it can be used on Kia’s when it can’t. This has caused me to lose money and much more.

I have come to Pep Boys to get more than 1 car serviced, on multiple occasions and everytime Brandon takes really great care of me. He never hesitates to go above and beyond with the service he provides. As a woman who has been bamboozled by plenty of mechanics, i feel that he is very trustworthy and knowledgeable. He is a true asset to Pep Boys and I have recommended him to my family. You'll always have a customer in me ! Thank you for all that you've done.

I dropped my car off at Pep Boys at 6:30 AM for a simple oil change and tune-up. My vehicle was not serviced until noon and wasn’t completed until 3 PM—far too long for such basic maintenance. During the process, I was advised that my tire was “blown off the rim.” In reality, it only had cosmetic sidewall damage, while the actual issue—a nail in my back left tire—was overlooked. After declining the unnecessary tire replacement, I was then offered an alignment service that my car did not need. The most concerning issue was discovered the following morning when I had to tow my car to another shop. Pep Boys had failed to replace the oil entirely. This level of oversight is unacceptable. In short: long delays, pushy upselling, and ultimately incomplete service. I cannot recommend this location and suggest looking elsewhere for honest and competent automotive care.

They were open on a sunday which was a plus for me, went to have a full diagnostic reading done of my truck. Though it took some time because they were busy. Martin (i think that was his name) and Jamal were kind, courteous and very through with inspecting my truck and explaining everything that was wrong. I only paid for my diagnostic because honestly pep boys is just too expensive. All in all I would let them repair my truck if I could afford their pricing. I dont place blame on them because they only work their. I appreciated the throughness and professionalism they displayed!!!

Brendan has an attitude and doesn’t understand warranty issues. Claims he didn’t have permission to make a warranty replacement despite being a manager. Lousy service. Go to the Doraville one instead. Much better.

I went to Pep Boys last week for a wheel alignment and tire balancing, and the experience was very disappointing. The service itself took over 3 hours, which already felt excessive. A few days later, my car was still driving funny, so I decided to get a second opinion at another repair shop. Turns out my CV/front axle was broken. Instead of informing me of the issue, Pep Boys went ahead with the alignment and balancing anyway—essentially taking my money while ignoring the real problem. To make matters worse, the wheel balancing they did was sloppy, with the weights placed on the outside of the tire instead of the inside. Now I’m stuck paying not only for the original service to be redone correctly but also for the repair that should have been addressed in the first place. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I will not be returning and do not recommend this location.

Went to the robots on Memorial Day for an alignment the service writer Martin was excellent his job. I l watch him deal with other customers and was impressed with the way he deal with them, I love the way he keep you posted on your vehicle also checking the vehicle out without charging and not trying sell you things you don’t need. Thank you Martin for taking care of my vehicle.

I recently came in to have an a/c diagnostic test. When I walked in I was not greeted, the rep was on his personal phone on FaceTime, and he began to argue with a coworker while talking to another customer. I decided to retrieve my belongings and go to Firestone to have my car service. I received great customer service at Firestone. Very unprofessional at Pep Boy Stn Mtn/Memorial Drive location and other customers stated the same. I will not be returning nor referring anyone to this company.

I had a great experience at Pep Boys thanks to Jamal and Martin. I brought my car in thinking I had a serious issue that would cost a lot to fix. I was prepared to pay whatever it took to get it running again. Jamal took the time to thoroughly inspect the problem and quickly figured out the actual issue, which turned out to be much simpler and less expensive than I expected. Both he and Martin were upfront, honest, and professional the entire time. It’s rare to find that level of honesty and integrity in the service industry these days. They didn’t try to upsell me or add on unnecessary repairs—just straightforward service and genuine care. I truly appreciate their honesty and skill. I’ll definitely be returning to this location for any future auto needs. Highly recommend Jamal and the team at Pep Boys! Whatever this organization is paying Jamal-DOUBLE IT!!!!

Came to this location yesterday for the first time. I had a 10 o’clock appointment everything was going good until it was time for me to leave. I realized my key fob had been broken called inside the location spoke with Martin he acted oblivious to my key fob being broke so I sent pictures & video absolutely no accountability. I stated it wasn’t broken when I gave it to you I emailed Tim Needham which is supposedly his manager no corresponding email back yet. One thing I will not accept is someone not taking accountability for something that could’ve easily been a mistake. To say I didn’t do it is crazy won’t return here ever

Pep Boys Memorial Drive Stone Mountain is the worst car care service center I’ve ever used. Limited professionalism. Not every associate made me feel that way, but the lack there of communication amongst staff to customer is very poor. I did not walk out of there feeling confident about the repairs so much so that I took it for a second opinion come to find out they lost both of my valve caps And installed the wrong cabinet filter for my vehicle. I walked in there with two coupons That I was told I could not use so I wind up spending a fortune with limited resolve , spent way more money than I had intended to, Which left me broke and sick to my stomach.

I had great tires on my vehicle and I upgraded my suspension and my bushings and ball joints and after I brought my vehicle here to get an alignment my brand new tires are wore out already and it's only been one month. That means you guys did not do my wheel alignment. My vehicle still drives the same as when I brought it in. I was told to not bring a vehicle to this Pep Boys. Another reason I know they didn't do my alignment is my brand new tires had to be replaced. They had the guy to call me that did my alignment. He tried to scare me playing thuggish. Some of us role in an organization. <--- that was then. It's July the 4th 2025 now and I'm still waiting for pep boys. Respond with your legal teams number.

If i could leave one star i would. I won’t be returning here. Appointments made online aren’t honored. Associate at the front desk is very nonchalant. My eval was supposed to be 10 dollars, associate tried to charge 65. Quoted me 2000 dollars saying i needed a new AC compressor. Went to another mechanic and was told i only needed refrigerant which was a 350 dollar fix. AC works perfectly fine now. I won’t be returning here regardless of coupons or specials sent. Save your money!!

Don't ever take your vehicle here. They are unprofessional arguing with each other and handling personal business before handling yours. They wrecked my car and didn't tell me to when I arrived to pick it up and I paid for services prior

I visited the pep boys on memorial Drive felt with Martin his service was excellent he made sure my needs was met the made sure he covered my car seer and mat I saw him interact with other customers and was impressed with his overall demeanor. Thank you Martin for making sure my car was done right.

Called ahead to make sure someone was able to do ac service. Told the shop I would be there in 15 minutes and they said come on in. Got there in time and they offered some lame excuse about “our tech had to leave for a family emergency”. Complete waste of time - take your business elsewhere.

Where do I begin, what a place with full of incompetent, unprofessional and very slow people.I have been to this place a couple of times and scammed both times. I took their word and decided to go with their suggestions on brake pad and rotor replacement and paid a thousand dollars. Guess what? They didn’t do things they said they have done. They kept the old rotor and used the worst kind of pad. Went back to talk to the Manager how in a world rotor and pad worn out in a couple of months? I was speechless how unprofessional and disrespectful the management was. The management was telling me two or three different Stories which do not make sense at all. No technical knowledge at all. I know for sure the rotors were not replaced because before I went back, I took my car to a different mechanic and confirmed that the rotors were not replaced.I strongly suggest that to avoid this location by all means.

I am beyond upset with the service I received from this pep boys, I went in for a brake and rotor replacement. I paid almost $500 for the service just for them to put resurfaced rotors back on my car. When I called to tell them what they did the employee I spoke to laughed like it was a joke. With the way this economy is set up no one has money to waste, I’m a single mom of two and a student the last thing I have to waste is money. And the fact that I have to wait forever for corporate to respond to my complaint makes it even worst. But best believe this complaint has reached corporate.

Mr. Ozzie at the front desk was very kind and helped me save a lot of money on my full set of tire replacements! The wait was longer than expected because of understaffing, so Mr. Ozzie even offered to cover Lyft fees to go home and wait as it had been over an hour past my appointment time and my car was still not taken back yet. After the service I noticed gaps between the tire and rim on all of the tires, but the mechanic said that is normal so I won’t worry about that. The only thing is that my rims were scratched up a bit..
