Mazzeo who was amazing and is nothing but brut strength! Was able to fix a mess left by the last person that changed my oil. And Ray worked to find the part I need to get my oil changed last minute! Successful trip thanks to this small but mighty team!

As a local business owner and single mom, I recommend this place! I mistakenly bought a new set of tires somewhere else, and have had nothing but issues for weeks with no resolution from the place I bought them. Dakota at Pep Boys got me in immediately, figured out the problem and fixed it rapidly! Nothing but kindness, and the help I needed to get me back on the road. Thank you Dakota and Pep Boys!

I would give this place zero stars If I could. I was actually recommended to come here from autozone just to be belittled so bad by a guy behind the counter while his buddy just stood there and watched. The guy behind the counter Pretty much told me that the diagnostics test That I received from the nice man named Jack at AutoZone was completely wrong. He belittled me so bad I left crying . I went back to autozone in tears and they replaced the part within seconds and my car was back running normal. Shame on you pep boys , seems to me yall just didn’t want to do y’all’s job that day. Please do better you never know what someone is going through . I will never be back to this location.

I was on vacation, the rental car tire sensor went off, the tire had a nail. I took it to the Pace pep boys, #1541, Dakota who was behind the counter, was trying to up sell, not listening to the customer. Long story short, it took 9 hours to get my tire fixed. Borrowed my friends car, or would have never made it to the concert, I had booked for my wife's surprise. In the end they plugged the tire, I could have done that, but the rental company said take it there. Dakota needs a class on customer relations, and has no business at the front desk. The misery does not stop there, I got the car back the next morning and had to reset the tire sensor, and add air to the tire to get the pressure correct. This all happened 9/18/25 , still have not heard from management, about how poorly we were treated.They don't give half stars, one is being extremely generous.

I can not boast enough about Dakota at the pace location! I came in with one hour to spare for a new tire, as i was running on a donut and stuck in pace, and he worked me in so that I could make it home. He was so friendly, professional, and very helpful! And angel of a man!

Diagnostic.. Just simply wanted to say THANK YOU!! After a recent debacle I had with another local shop to get a diagnostic testing THIS was a breath of fresh air. I Brought my car in to get a diagnostic on what was wrong with my A/C. They are upfront with their timeframe, honest about their findings and they didn't try to sell you what you don't need. I dropped my car off the night before and had it back the next day as promised with the diagnosis. Simply impressive!

Requested an appointment for a 120-point inspection, oil change and a brake job online via the Pep Boys website. Very easy to do and pleased with the service from the Pace, FL location. I thought the brakes on our 2008 Mustang needed to be replaced, but it turned out to be a cosmetic issue with the brake calipers that someone painted, causing the brakes to slightly stick. Pep Boys didn't try to sell me something we didn't need, which is why we will be using them for maintenance on all of our vehicles from now on. Fred kept us informed during our appointment, which is rare these days. The only thing I can think of that could have made our appointment better was for Pep Boys to honor our requested appointment time. We scheduled the appointment a week in advance, but were told at check in there were other customers ahead of us. The purpose of scheduling an appointment is for a customer to get the work completed at their convenience. Overall, the service was excellent!

Worst capability of working for appointments method. My car needed one tire to check on appointment was11:00am took the whole day and half without informing of done or not. I have to call twice to follow up. Worst experience for service. Never I go back again for their business.

SCAM!!!!! Went in with two regular nails in the center of a tire, at least a foot apart. Very slow leak. Guy tells me the plug wouldn’t hold, hole was tooo big. He wanted to sell me a new tire, imagine that. Stay away from Pep Boys. Nothing but a scam!!!!

This place had been great and so kind in the past. But they changed a tail light 2 months ago for me that has already died again. And when they checked my car, they came back and angrily accused me of lying and claiming it was not their tail light. I used to frequent here, but will no longer do so after such poor treatment and volatile emotion.

(2016 Ford F-150 Lariat V6 3.5L TT ecoboost) I brought my truck to Pep Boys because it was making a loud noise anytime I accelerated — the whole reason I needed it checked out. They told me the turbos needed to be replaced and said it would take about 2 days. Instead, they kept my truck for 1.5 weeks, leaving me stranded with no vehicle and very little communication about the delays. During that time, they said they discovered the exhaust manifold and multiple bolts also needed to be replaced, which added over $1,000 to the total bill. I agreed to the repairs in good faith, trusting that the issue would finally be resolved. But when I picked up the truck and drove it off the lot, it was still making the exact same noise — the one I brought it in for in the first place. It’s incredibly frustrating to be without my vehicle for that long, pay that much in repairs, and still have the original issue unresolved. This needs to be addressed immediately. I paid for a fix that clearly didn’t solve the actual problem.

My wife was on her way home when she noticed she was losing air quick. I was able to help her get her tire changed and her spare on and get her on her way to where we live in Milton. She was going to go straight to Pep Boys in Milton and get the tire repaired or replaced. She called them about 5:45 and they told her she would be better off bringing it in a different day. She said forget that and drove to the Pep Boys in Pace. There she encountered two employees, Chaya and David that went above and beyond to help her get her tire repaired one hour prior to their closing. They set the bar for the other employees there and get this location 5 stars. The store in Milton will not get any more of our business and pales in comparison to the crew in Pace.

On the way home from work, while driving on I10, my tire was losing air very quickly. Got the spare on and arrived at the Pace location about 620PM. I asked if there was any way someone could peek at it and see if it was repairable. Chaya got right on it and within less than five minutes, found the leak. Thankfully, David was available to fix it quick. I was pulling out of the parking lot about time they closed. I recognize it was near the end of their work day. They could have said no, as another shop had, telling me to wait until tomorrow. They treated me no different than if it was first appointment of the day. What I appreciated most was the willingness to help at the end of the day. Because of their help today, I could have peace at mind tonight and go to work safe tomorrow. Very thankful!

I made my appointment online, I had two tire sensors replaced on my 2011 f150. Within a couple of hours they replaced them and rotated my tires and everything was done properly and quickly.

I was on the road when I started having car trouble and knew I wouldn’t be able to make it home so I went to the nearest car repair which happened to be Pep Boys and Pace. These guys are terrific. They diagnosed the problem right away gave me an estimate on the cost, which was within a few dollars (1350 was the estimate 1318 was the Final cost). They also finished in the estimated time it would take. The car runs great now.

Will let me know exactly what I needed for my car. There were no surprises cost wise. The work they did on my car was excellent even though my car gave the mechanics a few headaches because it is so old. They were very professional and very nice. I will be using them again.

I had an amazing experience at Pep Boys! I came in to get my A/C checked and ended up needing a new blower motor. The team went above and beyond to get it replaced quickly and correctly. They were honest, upfront about everything, and the pricing was more than fair. It’s rare to find a shop you can really trust, but these guys delivered excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Not all Pep Boys are created equal! The Pace, FL Pep Boys is far better than the others I've dealt with. I own a fleet of trucks and they (Chaya and Will) keep us on the road. Super nice people with great attitudes, very customer service oriented.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my vehicle to Pep Boys for an alignment after installing a lift, and the experience was an absolute disaster from start to finish. First, the tech couldn’t even hold the steering wheel straight and had to call another tech for help. That should have been my first red flag. When I got my vehicle back, the steering wheel was still off-center, and it pulled to the left. On top of that, a traction control fault code popped up as I was driving away. I immediately returned, only to be told they couldn’t do anything because the alignment rack was full. They claimed they would try to reset the light but later admitted the tech didn’t even have the subscription to do so. Instead of taking responsibility, they told me to just drive it around until Monday—TWO DAYS LATER. When I finally came back on Monday for what was supposed to be a quick one-hour fix, I ended up waiting several hours. The only positive part of this experience was the lady working the front—she was very nice. Fortunately, the second tech who worked on my vehicle that day was able to correct the issue and even apologized for the trouble. Still, after all the hassle, wasted time, and their complete incompetence on the first visit, they didn’t offer any discount or refund for their mistakes. I wouldn’t trust Pep Boys to align a shopping cart, let alone a vehicle. Avoid this place at all costs.
