This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
Customer sentiment for SA Recycling in West Palm Beach, FL is mixed but leans positive. Many praise friendly, helpful staff and say prices are good or fair; others report low payouts versus market, misclassification of metals, and a cash-count dispute, citing unprofessional management. Overall score: 74/100. Themes: pricing is the biggest swing factor (payouts vary), customer service often courteous yet inconsistent. Little info on inventory variety, yard organization, ease of finding parts, or wait times, so those aspects remain unclear.

Staff were hard to communicate with, didn't tell me they had minimums, and it turns out my scrap was worth some money they just didn't seem to want to weigh it. Had much better experience at scrap city Delray and other places.
First time using this place, but they advertised a higher place. SCAM! They cashed me out for less than I get at my regular place, and they wouldn’t accept half my scrap. Want more money? Go to another place.
Just got robbed today $20 by the cashier. The receipt was $213 and change. She gave me 9 x $20, one $10, one $2, one $1 and change.
Beware dishonest people
These guys kept insisting that my aluminum control arms, my extension cord (made of Copper wiring) and german Stainless Steel exhausts were regular mixed steel and subsequently, I was paid less for the metals I brought to scrap. Unreal. One of the guys kept saying Steel, Steel, Steel… and could not understand any other word. Very frustrating. About 30lbs of the 90lbs recorded as HMS is Stainless Steel. Probably 2lbs of HMS weight is Aluminum and about a 1lb in Copper wire. One thing this world needs less of is incompetence. Or maybe I’m just dreaming about the day when people actually do their jobs correctly. Wouldn’t that be a world!!!
Most unprofessional management I will never go back to then after the lies had to deal with years of business ruined by sa metals new games for loyal scrappers Not Top Prices AtAll More lies Never again
