First off….walking in this advance auto parts is like walking into a retirement home. It’s filled with guys that have horrible customer service and absolutely no motivation to work or help the clients. I walked in with someone looking for an item and one of the guys sitting behind the register playing with his fingers says to me “yea I can’t help you just wait for him to finish” as he points at another employee in the middle of checking out a client. When It finally gets to my turn and I ask him for what I’m looking for he responds with “yea it’s somewhere over there” like how unbelievable is that. If I knew where it was I wouldn’t be asking. The only 2 people that are worth the time and money to deal with at this store is the store manager and one of the assistants and of course who would’ve guessed it they are the 2 youngest employees working there. Advance please do better and employ people that actually care about the job and about making clients happy and not guys that are 1 bite of a sandwich away from a heart attack. This is unacceptable and unbelievable. I will no longer be buying at advance auto parts and I will pass this message along to any of my family and friends to stop supporting advance in any way, shape, or form that they can. They just Lost a lifelong client that spends thousands of dollars with them a year. Unbelievable

The employees are hired from the short school bus they pick out the ones that lick the windows. Retuned a battery because they have me the wrong one in the first place and when I returned it the refund amount was different than the purchase price (less of course) and I had to wait over an hour while they called Virginia to straighten it out.

Went in suspected my battery was on its way out. From the moment I encountered The young man, who was outside finishing up a battery install, felt seen and that i was in the hands of a professional. What a lovely person you are Nick!! Thank you!!

Went there to buy a Blend Door Actuator switch for my F150. The guy behind the counter who apparently used to work for Ford would not sale me the part I needed. He told me I need to go to the ford deasership and give them my vin# and they will give me a part # come back to the store give them the part to then he will cross reference it. Even though his computer showed several in stock. I left and went to Autozone bought the part no problem.

I’ve never had an issue with Advance Auto Parts, they always have what I need, and the service is reliable. However, every time I walk in, it’s super quiet, with just two men at the front. It almost feels like I’m interrupting something! That said, they’re always helpful when I need assistance, and the store is well stocked. If you don’t mind a quiet atmosphere, it’s a solid spot for auto parts.

By far one of the worst stores I’ve been to. The customer service is horrible. I have NEVER been greeted nor have I been told someone would help me shortly. When I addressed an associate about it he said they can try to do better. But still felt like no changes would be made. I have patronized this location for years and it has been the same thing every single time. An associate will look me dead in the eyes after coming inside from helping someone and will not say anything as I stand and wait for several minutes. There were 2-3 associates in the back discussing parts that may not have the ability to check out customers but still, never will greet you or say someone will help you shortly. I will continue to shop at advance auto but NEVER will I step foot back in this particular store. There are multiple stores in a 2 mile radius I would rather spend more money and time to shop at vs going to this specific location!!!

Their battery warranty is good but initially installed the wrong battery. I had to get it replaced after 1 year with warranty. The Second battery died after another year and I took it in to find out the initial battery was incorrect. I'd rather depend on a good battery than using warranties, especially stuck roadside on a hot humid Florida day! The positive, Hadi, The manager resolved everything and upgraded the battery. Very auto-intelligent & nice staff.

Guys!! Unreal the level of service you will receive here! I had an issue with my battery two days in a row this week and was late dropping off my daughter to school. One call to Nick and I felt comfortable bringing my battery to be checked out. He did a thorough test and had my battery replaced within minutes! I highly recommend calling him if you have any issues! Superb Service right here in Delray!

I should of known better seeing the store completely empty as I walked in. I was amazed at how rude I was treated. Just asking a simple questions seems like such a chore. Why is that old guy even working there? Stay away from this store and from the dates of previous similar comments. The company isn’t going to do anything about it and for that, no longer gets my business. So long Advance!

I was sceptical when I saw that many good reviews but I must say they deserved it ! The guy at the front desk was super polite, professional and nice. He inspected my car and told me that I didn't deserve a wheel alignment (most of garages would have lied to me and force me to do it for $$$). They did the oil change/tire rotation for less than an hour and half. I'll definitely come back to this location from now on.

Just like a previous review the old guy is terrible at customer service. He should not be customer facing. I came in for a quick scan. The old guy with ponytail and glasses was as unhelpful as possible, like he didn’t even care. “Google what the code means.” If you hate your job, quit and get another. He should be fired.

Had my battery tested with a lot of corrosion on the terminals. I want you to see what they would do. Tested the battery and said it was bad and I need to replace it. I left their immediately. Buyer beware. Of course you're going to have low voltage if you have corrosion on your battery terminals. If they truly were a good operation they would have cleaned the terminals to get a fair reading and not try to sell me a battery I didn't need. Stay away, stay away, stay away. There are plenty of other fish in the sea

Conroy in management is a terrible manager. With no customers in the store he refused a simple battery swap out literally just to be a jerk to a customer and avoid any work on the sales floor for himself. Horrible employee deserves to be fired.

This is the best place for a woman to Go for auto parts. The men that work There are very nice and VERY helpful!!! This was my second time at their location that I needed a part and Assistance. They are the BEST !!! GO there ...you will see for yourself.

Should be negative stars quite frankly based on what my mom just experienced. She changed her car battery in October 2020 by someone who worked at this location. The battery has a 3 year Warranty. Today, she was having trouble starting her car and went to this location. The employee (who barely even tried) to help her today said she is not in the system despite my mom showing a paper statement of when the battery was installed at that location. He then proceeded to say that it was fraud and that he can't do anything since apparently he's incompetent and doesn't even know how to open the hood of the car. It's a shame the quality of service has gone down in such a short time.

I would give this location 6 stars if I could. I bought LED replacement bulbs for my telluride and I came back thinking I bought the wrong bulbs. Instead of making me figure it out myself, he actually came outside and helped me. Who does that these days! these guys are great!

By far one of the worst locations they have! The old dude that works here, he’s tall with glasses, should just retire by now. I came in for general assistance on getting the my van scanned. After getting it scanned and asking about the codes from the scanner, the old guy tells me to Google what it means when I’m legit reading over his shoulder the face of the scanner displaying what the codes mean! Like seriously? It’s that hard this morning to be humane? Advance auto parts please fix this and bring someone in that’s willing to be of assistance to customers that bring in the revenue to print their weekly paychecks. This is ridiculous!

Today I was put in a dangerous situation thanks to the staff at this location, specifically Bob and Alex, who stood by and did not intervene. Yesterday my car died at a stoplight, so today I stopped into the store to see if they could test my battery and possibly replace it. I was immediately shut down by Bob and he told me he could not assist me. After I inquired as to why, he had the audacity to tell me he did not have time because there were other customers in the store (and the person who performs that service was not there). I asked him if he felt the other customers were more valuable than me, and he shut me down again. I explained to Bob the situation and that I was fearful of leaving the store and my car possibly dying again, at which point he continued to show zero empathy or offer assistance and said, "have a good one". Shortly after leaving the store and as expected, my car again died on the road. I was stranded at a very busy intersection waiting for police to arrive for nearly 30-minutes. Meanwhile, cars were honking at, yelling at, and also weaving around me at 40mph. While I understand the battery test is a complimentary service, had Bob taken a moment out of his day to test my battery, not only would the store have received a battery purchase from me, but I could have avoided a potentially even more dangerous situation and saved several hours of my day. What if I had been injured? This was highly unprofessional and negligent and one of the worst customer care experiences I have ever witnessed.

Not sure about the overall health of the franchise but this particular location seems ramshackle, shabby and decrepit. Ancient ones for customer service work here, so everything in terms of service seems deliberately slow. There is an extreme lacking in the selection of tools for the budding DIY mechanic. Not too mention the selection was over priced. All I wanted was a 5mm hex socket in 1/4 drive. I did not need a set for $40. I guess this is a suitable place for oil and car wax.

I placed an order online...I called the store so they can do curbside pickup... then they came outside and ignored me. Finally they told me to come in!...Annoyed, I go inside. Then I'm told its not ready yet when I have the email that it is ready. Another employee, after 10 min says it has been ready!!! I ask if they can put it on (they have free installation on wiper blades) and he gets annoyed with me. Then they go to put it on and he can't get it on. The nicer employee comes outside and can't get it on either- He eventually does… but he tells me that it is a looser than what he is used to with other cars and wipers... I am extremely unhappy w Advanced Auto Parts and will be buying from Pep Boys again!!! The only reason I bought here was because of coupon ??

The 5 stars are for the young man that tested our battery yesterday and installed a new one. He is patient, professional and methodically organized with the tools. We were done in no time. This is the second car he did for our family and we are more than happy both times. The guy inside (Tony?) is very professional too. All around a great place to go for miscellaneous car needs, especially battery replacement.

Great Service... My stepdaughter had some issues with her jeep Cherokee trailhawk, not starting, delayed starts, Advanced checked the battery and it was not holding a charge... 20 minutes later they swapped in a new battery and everything was working perfectly. Great experience.

Bob answer the phone after two rings. He was knowledgeable and fast. They had my part at a decent price - in stock. His advice was clear and helped me make a few good decisions. This is exactly why I go here and not next door.
