The woman on the phone doesn’t let you speak. You’ll be explaining something and she cuts you off before you can finish so she can prove to you she’s a knowledgeable strong independent woman. She doesn’t listen, she’s too worried about owning the conversation like an immature toddler. Wasted my time when I could’ve gotten the answer in 30 seconds.

I would give 50 stars if I could!! Absolutely wonderful experience. I have a small Grounds Maintenance company and a crew was having issues and they helped us out in a pinch. Could have a been a huge problem, but he handled it and they were back in the road. Was so nice over the phone and my guys said he very knowledgeable. Thank you thank you!! I will be recommending and using in the future.

I was about to buy a 1986 Jeep CJ7 and thought it would be a good idea to have someone check the vehicle over first. My wife looked up Dads online and since it was close by to where I was buying the Jeep, I took the Jeep there. Man I’m glad I did! Mike (Dad) was happy to help and knew everything about the history and everything of the Jeep. He performed a thorough inspection of it and gave me his concerns and did it at NO CHARGE! Awesome guy and great mechanic. I live over an hour away, but will be taking my classic back to him to do any work it needs. Great, clean shop, awesome staff, and very, very helpful. You don’t find many shops like Dads anymore. Goldmine find!

It will not be 100% like they say I have close to 9000.00 in receipts for services rendered and still don't have any thing to drive. Don't let these guys change the oil in your fry daddy ! Green Cove should be ashamed of themselves for letting them do business here! They should leave the state and never come back.

They are Miracle workers!! I had a busted radiator and needed my car fixed asap. Another mechanic dropped my car off here for me not knowing if we could even get the work done that day. Jill called me within hours giving me a diagnosis & estimate, reassuring me that they wouldn’t start the work if they couldn’t get my car back to me that same day. Jill called back within a few hours and said my car was ready! They even took the time to show me the old part and walked me through what was done. They truly exceeded my expectations! I’m so happy that I found a great auto mechanic who is honest, kind & trustworthy! Jill & Dad are wonderful people! Thank you so much for taking good care of me and my car❤️

Hands down! The best in the mechanic business. Customer service, maintenance, price, Quality service and satisfaction gauranteed. Went to the Ford Dealership 1st; they could't fix the problem in 1&1/2 weeks, but Dad's Auto fixed it in 2 days

Every busy but great service. It might take you a while to get on their schedule. My repair wasn’t an emergency. It was my convertible top lift that needed attention. Fixed, running fine, and less than the price I was quoted! Thanks Guys

Love them, their integrity is unmatched. They want to make money, they are running a business after all. On the other hand after 2 different issues, I have found they are equally interested in helping people! Mike is great at diagnostics and they are our go to for anything not a diy!

Great place. Only shop I trust to work on my crown vic (and all my previous vehicles!) Although I don't live very close and have many shops closer to me I'd rather take it here if that tells you anything. I have been coming here for a few years and never had an issue. The owners and employees are friendly, professional and honest. Their pricing is fair and they get the job done right!

Finally found a great mechanic that knows how to work on my 86 gmc truck. I believe he is a man that a hand shake will stand by his work. I would recommend his business to anyone.

These folks were awesome! I was traveling through the are and I pulled in near the end of the day with an A/C unit that wasn’t working and Dad stopped what he was doing and jumped right in. I ended up chatting with mom and dad and their son the whole the time and they were so friendly. I was probably there two hours and Dad got me all sorted for about $150. Half of what I expected. They were awesome. As a traveler, just passing through I was so happy they got me back on the road at such a fair price and I didn’t have to go to a big box shop.

I have a new family with Dad's Auto ? I had my first experience with Dad's Auto . I had a brake job on my accord . The price is competitive and MUCH MORE attention to detail than the dealership . Dad's even corrected an unrelated steering issue I've had for years ! I love the family , the love is evident and makes everyone feel welcome . A trustworthy , competent bunch !!! I highly recommend and will be returning .

My family and I traveled to Green Cove Springs for a wedding (from Raleigh, NC). As I crossed the FL/GA line, my car quit, with an ominous warning. To give you the short version, Dad's Automotive fixed it, and for way less $ than expected (per competitive internet pricing). They are fair, honest, and very communicative. The engine turned off, and I coasted to an I95 exit. Luckily it restarted, but the Check Engine light came on. It's a 2013 Prius w/120K miles, so something was going to happen... After several stops/starts to let the engine cool, I made it to a Autozone, and they read the code. The water pump was failing. Autozone rep said "no big deal, keep driving". I kinda knew that was not good advice. Several more stops/starts to cool the engine, and I made it to our AirBnb in Green Cove Springs. The following morning, I started looking for a mechanic, and eventually drove to a Napa Auto parts (in GCS), out of frustration. I showed them the ODBII code, and rep said I was crazy to drive it anywhere. I asked for help w/a mechanic, and he said, if I was lucky, Dad's Automotive would accept me. I drove it to Dad's, and they did accept the job. A new water pump had to be ordered. They did, and when it did not come on time, they used a 2nd supplier, and got the job done, for less $ than expected, and exactly when they said it would be done. Price quoted before job included EVERYTHING (tax, shipping, etc). Jill and Matthew are VERY personable, and communicative. HIGHLY recommended! Sadly, we are not used to such honest service. I wish they were in Raleigh, NC... As a side note, we drove 2 cars to GCS, and this was the "trip from hell". The 2nd car had a flat on our last day in GCS, and Jill recommended we use Kiley's Tires. Another GEM! After an hour of removing and checking the tire they found nothing wrong (maybe a malcontent deflated it overnight?). Kiley's wanted nothing ($) for the service, even though they were obviously busy, and knowing they would likely never see us again. Further, our Airbnb host (600 Magnolia) offered to personally come check out the car when I mentioned our troubles. He was a Navy mechanic. What a community to belong to!

Our Chevy Colorado is now ”absence of heat” (aka blowing cold again) ? thanks to Mike and Jill from Dad’s Auto Shop in Green Cove Springs. Such knowledgeable and friendly service at a very affordable price. Looking forward to giving them more of my business in the future. I’ll never go to another shop again. These people were so nice and took care of my family and my vehicle. I kept calling asking questions and Jill never seemed annoyed. My car drives better than it was before and now I have AC again! The whole family was friendly and honest and their work is impeccable. Check ‘em out!!

Had the check engine light come on in our 2019 Dodge Ram 5.7 Hemi. We had it towed to Mike &Jill. They took excellent care of us. I felt their prices were more than fair and the service was outstanding! Very honest, efficient and knowledgeable! We will definitely be using them for future repairs and referring them as a trusted mechanic!

Daddy auto and Jill the most kindness, caring, understanding and go out of there way to help with anything they do to take care of the Truck and van. I could not ask for true and honest adopted family to us. Thank you and God bless for everything you do for us.

I happily enjoyed a nice cold AC after help from Dad’s Auto Shop. I asked them if they could do some AC maintenance which was draining and refilling my system. They happily said yes and it was not at all expensive like the other shops I called to. The staff is very open and friendly. I will be using their services again in the future. Thanks Dad’s Auto for the amazing experience in helping me get my 04’ Forester’s AC system working again! ?

I have been going to Dad's auto shop for many years. The owners are absolutely wonderful. And Mike, is a master at diagnosing problems and fixing them at prices that will not break the pocketbook. In fact, I had a problem with my Toyota RAV4 that got worse as time went on, and I went to three different places to get it fixed. No one could figure out the problems except Mike at Dad's auto shop. I have a 2008 RAV4 that is notorious for what they call unexplained oil consumption. In fact, the car was going through at least a quart and a half of oil per 1500 mi. I was always concerned or scared that the engine would seize so I carried extra oil cans to add when I thought necessary. Mike found the problem immediately, and told me I don't have to worry about the excessive oil consumption anymore. I would recommend Dad's auto shop to anyone, and in fact I drive 75 mi just to have them fix my car. I don't think I would do that for any other establishment.

As a shop owner myself I am extremely pleased with my experience with Raymond and this company. It's very refreshing to see and interact with such a knowledgeable young tech in today's industry. I needed their services for my personal shop truck and can say very happy with the results.

Friendly & honest people. Good customer service. They repaired my vehicle for $1000 less then what I was quoted from the other place I used to go. Job was completed in a timely manner & I have no complaints at all of the quality of work done

They did a fantastic job at replacing my gas tank when it suddenly began leaking. They even got me a used fuel tank for $600 less than a new one's price! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality work done the right way.

Since moving to Fleming Island in 2017, I have taken all 5 of my vehicles to Dad's Auto for a simple oil change to a full engine swap out. Owner-Master Mechanic Mike is the most technically competent, honest, and trustworthy mechanic I have ever seen since I began driving in 1983. I have done my own auto work up until I suffered a disabling incident and now rely exclusively on Mike to do all of my auto work. He gets the job done right, the first time, every time. Mike's Co-Owner-Office Manager, Jill sets the standard for customer service. I think Chick-fil-A (best customer service in their industry) stole Jill's customer service skill sets! They are both completely honest in word and deed!

I have never met a more trustworthy mechanic. My SUV has been running rougher than usual the past month. After taking it to the dealer and several big name shops I could not find anyone willing to repair it or even tell me what was wrong. The SUV had some modifications completed prior to my purchasing it that caused a TON of codes. 5 mechanic shops (including the local dealer) would pull the codes and tell me to get rid of the car. However, no one ever told me the actual cause. After reading the review for Dad's Auto I decided it was worth a shot to have them look at it since all the reviews stated they are very thorough. Well the reviews did not lie. Mike looked over my car with a fine tooth comb and within an hour or so he had the answers I have been searching for for months. The news wasn't good, but I am so thankful to finally have an answer as to what's really wrong with it. Not only that Mike and his wife, Jill took the time to explain the cause and how it got to the point it did. From my initial phone call to the when I pick up my car I felt like I was having my own mom and dad look over the car. Which as a woman is invaluable. I highly highly recommend them and will only use their shop in the future.
