1st) it was nearly impossible to find this place. The name on the building is not the name of the business. Then, I guess because the police called for the tow after the accident, I was charged “County Rates” and had to (borrow) pay $800 for a 1/4 mile tow!! Thankfully I was able to get my tag and belongings back. I couldn’t get my car the next day because they weren’t open on the weekends, so by Monday (the wreck happened on Friday) I had to borrow and pay 800 dollars for a quarter mile tow and 3 days storage. So not only did the airbags hit me in the chest, the tow company also got their gut punch in too!! Like I’m not going thru enough??? Thanks a lot AT&R; I have AAA, I could have gotten the tow for FREE!
I was stranded on the Florida turnpike for 4.5 hours. I was told advance towing would be 1.5 hours. I kept calling and time kept getting longer. At one point a road ranger came by and asked if I had service coming. I said yes. I put my initial call thru the sos button on my new Toyota. They said AAA was coming to tow me. I called AAA and my 2nd request was not even taken ( I am premium with them). The 2nd time I called aaa it was about 2 hours after that they put in the request. I was later told to call The Florida Highway Patrol that the changed tires. I called and spoke to an officer Martinez, he said the road ranger would change it (don't know why road ranger did not inform me). Well I was waiting for advanced towing or road ranger. Almost 1 hour later same road ranger came by and pulled in front of me. He said he would change the tire but was required to be behind me and he said he was not called by anyone including officer Martinez. Instead of backing around me on the shoulder, he drove to next exit, turned around, drove to rest area, turned facing north and came to my aide. BTW I know how to change a tire I am not physically able. 4.5 hours later as the sun set , I was on my way. ADVANCED TOWING AND RECOVERY NEVER CAME. If I could give less than 1 to Toyota Roadside, AAA and Advanced Towing & Recovery, I would. They are less than ZERO
I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but they left me high and dry on the side of the turnpike for hours. This company was contracted through AAA to come assist me roadside. I was told 40 minutes. They never called, never answered any calls, never showed up. They still haven't called. If you're looking for a trustworthy company that comes through on their word, please look elsewhere quickly.
Edit: they called finally over 5 hours placing the original order. The driver had the gall to tell me that road rangers typically make it faster than they can. You wait 5 hours to call and tell me that? Absolutely worst company I've come into contact with.
Very professional and polite company. The estimated wait time was exactly what they told me what exactly what it was. They are honest and letting you know how long it will be before they're able to arrive. Update you prior to their arrival. Very careful when hooking your car up before Towing
Our Hydraulic Hose Ambulance broke down a couple days ago. Called A few other local tow companies before we called Advance and they said they couldn't get out to us for about 2-3 Hrs.
Called Advance and they had a driver named Roy come out to us in about 30 min. He dropped the drive shaft like he was supposed to and picked up our Hydraulic Hose Ambulance with his wrecker all in about 20 min. Towed us back to our shop with no problems at a fair price.
Couldn't ask for better service. Thanks for the tow and driver with proper towing skills to get our vehicle back safely. Will be the first call if we ever need a tow again!
This place is unprofessional, & provides false advertisement, while being rude to people. This place is not open 24hrs. My car was in a wreck & was transferred to this Towing company because they were on rotation that night. I tried to call Advance Towing to get my items out of the vehicle & no one answers the phone. When I finally got thru to someone she stated that she's open Monday- Friday 9am -5pm. I went to the place during her verbal business hours & still no one was available. They place was locked. I sent my daughter over there 2 more time that day & still the place was closed. We called back numerous times & the same girl answered giving my daughter attitude about opening the shop so that we can retrieve our items from the car. That was once again a FAIL. I called her back over the weekend & they claimed that she can sent someone to open the Towing shop but will have to charge me a weekend fee. I thought this was ridiculous & unfair. I couldn't believe that we are going through a difficult time being in a car wreck not having a vehicle & they are making us feel like we got our car reposes or something. I would not recommend this Towing company to anyone. They are very unprofessional.
Beware they are SCAMMERS. My husband was hit by a driver and PBPD had them tow our truck. The next day we went over and were asked if we wanted to sign it over for our insurance to pick up. My husband was not at fault and the vehicle was totaled so I signed the release. We removed everything from the vehicle on Sept 29(1 day after the accident). TWO WEEKS later I get a certified letter stating I owe over $600 or in two more weeks a lien will be filed and of course we will keep being charged. No phone call, no cordial notice, just silence so they could keep racking up the bill. When I called to inquire all she could say was too bad that's the way it goes. I let her know it was bad business practice but apparently she doesn't believe so and stated it's my problem and this is the way it goes. Just because you don't HAVE to legally give a courtesy called or notice doesn't mean that you SHOULDN'T. It is evident they don't care about their customers or customer service. We would have had the vehicle removed the next day but their driver insinuated by signing the release it was taken care of and we had nothing left to do. It is a shame they can't make an HONEST living by following common courtesy.
I didn't get a tow from Advance, but instead was stuck at the Fort Drum service plaza on the Turnpike with a dead starter. After several hours of waiting their driver - a friendly gentleman named Wayne - asked if there was anything he could do. As my truck has a manual transmission, he and I were able to push-start it and get me rolling again (the starter, on the other hand, is another story entirely...).
Wayne, thank you very much AGAIN for your help with this stranded motorist!
This is the most amazing towing service in Brevard county. Hardworking and very diligent when it comes to servicing their customers. If you need a tow call these people.
This is the best tow company in brevard, very customer oriented and always do the most they can to help you out. If you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to call these people
They say open 24 hours.
I started calling at quarter til 6 and no one answered until almost 11.
Then the next time I needed to call it took over an hour until they finally called me back.
Only accepted cash for the towing and storage.
