Walked in expecting a good costumer service review. Was told if I needed my alternator looked at I needed to remove it myself and put it on the counter. Would not recommend wasting your time or money here. Extremely rude!!
Brian, Joe, Becky and all the guys and gals there rock! Honest about repairs and billing. They actually tell what you need and don't beat around the bush. Just simple hard working folks. We can recommend them, but they are busy, so get your vehicle in soon. Brian is also very involved in the community and truly cares for everyone he or his business is involved with. These guys are amazing!! I came in to buy a new alternator but they tested my old one first. Came back just fine. They could have easily have sold me a new one but they were honest and kept me from having to buy something I don’t need. I will definitely recommend them to others in the future.
Didn’t have any work done but walked in for a simple question about a battery fuse issue and the guy was very helpful with testing the starter no problem. Thanks
Ken is the most helpful and honest people in the automotive industry. I’d recommend this place to everyone. Has fixed multiple starters and alternators for me. Certainly a dying trade. Reman starter was 200$. Ken got me out the door for 50$ in less than an hour.
I’ve been coming to malabar electric for over 15 years and he’s always fixed everything while I wait and has me out the door in less than 15 minutes. Never had a problem with anything he’s fixed . His loyalty is 2nd to none. Why go anywhere else.

Had a starter go out on a friends car from out-of-town. Looked up starters on Google Maps and found this place. Called and said "come on down and we will see if we can fix it". Stopped there, handed Ken the starter and he walked away for about 15 minutes. He installed new bearings, brush assembly and turned the commutator on the lathe. We were in and out in <20 minutes. Super nice guy and glad to have round this shop... and cost was less than half a 're-built' at the auto store. We gave him a $5 tip. I'll be back for sure if I need you. Thanks Ken!
Kenny’s the man I’ve taken a lot of stuff to him through the years always friendly and welcoming. Prices are great along with the service. Best part is he gets you in and out fast!!! I’ve sent a lot of people his way and they always have great things to say.
Very easy to do business with. Great quality work at reasonable prices. I have taken all of my electrics to be repaired here and will continue to do so. Done right the first time. I highly recommend this shop.
