I used to love Bob Valenti’s for purchasing used/new cars. Car buying was a pleasant experience. Free oil changes and a videotaped 10 point inspection were included with your purchase for the original owner. They stopped doing this a while back which really was a perk that set them apart from the competition.
Jason (Assistant Service Manager) should be the Service Manager. He is always very welcoming and works very hard at trying to squeeze you in for oil changes. Recently he also reminded me that my emissions was expired and took care of that as well. He is personable and patient when explaining any questions regarding recommended services or any issues that come up during the oil change. I have been a Chevy customer for over 15 years and my brother had been a customer for over 20+ years as well.
The service manager who has been there for many years usually doesn’t even look up from his desk and rarely says hello or interacts with customers.
My perception as a customer is that he either dislikes his job or dislikes the customer aspect of his job. He comes across as indifferent and less than flexible.
If Jason was not the main person that deals with Chevy service, I doubt I would ever buy another car from Valenti’s.
The employees were excellent the facility was clean and organized the entire time I spent during my experience with purchasing a new vehicle was seamless. Again the staff was excellent !!!
Great experience at Bob Valenti’s Chevrolet. Communication was excellent the whole time. Clear updates, quick responses, and no runaround.

From the moment that the process started I felt comfortable. The first person I interacted with, Devin, was a pleasure to deal with...and I can be a confusing and somewhat difficult customer at times. He listened, was accommodating and made me feel relaxed and un pressured. The sales manager, James was equally accommodating and just when I thought I had seen the best (and they were all equally great) I met Nancy and she completed the trifecta. I've never had a unsatisfactory experience at any of the Valenti stores and I whole heartedly would recommend not purchasing until you pay them a visit.

If they didnt have the answer, they made sure to find out so I could make the best informed decision for what worked for me. When car shopping can be difficult, they made it rather easy. So disappointed with the service department of this dealership. My family has purchased many vehicles and are loyal customers. My 2020 Trail Boss Silverado had an engine failure. Under on mileage but over on time. My auto insurance had me covered with a better policy than Chevrolet offered. Had it towed to them at my request. I was informed that they would not accept my insurance to cover the payment. I called another local Chevrolet dealership in New London and they said absolutely we will do it. They made the repairs without any payment issues. I then proceeded to purchase a 2026 Silverado Z71

I am very pleased with the service Department at Bob Valenti. The staff were kind and curious. I paid $250 at another dealership to diagnose my HMI issue. That dealership couldn't figure out the issue and gave me back the car the same way that they received it.

My salesman, Edgar, was absolutely awesome! He brought one vehicle to my home so I could look at it. Next day he got both vehicles ready for test drive. He was courteous, accommodating, funny, respectful and took us thru the buying process with ease. Unfortunately, getting service done on my purchase didn't go so smoothly. Edgar worked it out for us. What an easy and low stress car purchase! I have terrible anxiety around buying cars and finances because of the terrible experiences this industry has given me. But the Valenti family here in Mystic, specifically Edger and Nancy, made something normally terrible into a great experience. They took their time explaining and working with us and our unique situation. Never did we feel like we were asking for the impossible or felt judged for our life circumstances. I was able to walk away with a 2022 Subaru Outback with reasonably payments and a great warranty. For as long as I’m in CT this is where we will go and where I will send my friends and family.

Ari was amazing. She respected how we wanted to approach a truck purchase and made our purchase easy. She delivered exactly on what we wanted and was a consummate professional. Althought this dealership is a 7 hour drive from our house, the drive will always be worth it. Valenti is now our dealer of choice.
