First time in and will return - very good prices on fractional silver and low premiums on 1oz minted - was literally almost spot - for reference an Australian year of the snake 1oz silver round was $40 , spot is 39.14 today - an 86 cent premium on a capsules , minted silver is an incredibly good deal -
I normally don’t buy premium silvers as I’m stacker , but that close to spot for a beautiful piece is not only fair but generous , and customer service was professional, exceptional and polite

Just went to the uptown trading location in wethersfield and they did a great job. Changed my watch battery super quick and for cheap. These guys are the best around!
I went to upgrade my laptop and was more than satisfied with their amount of integrity to sell me a fully functioning product before I handed money over. Also requested a specific engagement ring and nailed every detail and exceeded my expectations
Was driving by and figured I would stop by with some various rings and jewelry. Parked, had a quick smoke and walked up to the door literally one minute after closing today and the owner or worker couldn't be bothered. After seeing me first and nodding (in aknowlegement, one would think) I stood and waited about 5 minutes at the door as he went into the back with the drawer to count it and he came back and did the hand swiping across the neck motion (as in no more or closed I guess)...I then tried to ask "even for trades?" to which he did the same rude hand motion. Well this will be my first and last time trying to stop in as clearly business & customers aren't truley valued here. I understand that the drawer was counted and door locked but maybe at least see what I brought by; a quick trade or sale wouldn't hurt right? A minute past closing and this guy couldn't take off any quicker: I'm no expert by any means- but that is NOT how you run a buisness. ??
Was in talks with them all morning about purchasing a welder, told them I was going to come after work to buy it and they sold it to someone behind my back! Horrible place to do business. Much better of going to Silas Deane pawn!
Good people. Local family business. Honest appraisals and usually willing to work out a deal. Definitely better treatment than other pawn shops in the area.

Not as much product or obnoxious foot traffic as the big name shop up the street, which makes it more pleasant to look around. The 3 times I've been here, I was the only customer. Lots of tools, maybe the battery charger you've been looking for. Jewelry, electronics, toys. The prices are more reasonable too. If you are looking for something/ anything not specific, as "retail therapy" I would highly recommend this store. I already plan to stop in again next week
Every time I go in and I go in very often I get great customer service and always find thing cheaper there then other pawnshops and always get a good deal. They are very upfront when you ask questions about things in the shop all in all very satisfied when i buy
I literally just called trying to sale my laptop to this pawnshop and the customer service was extremely poor, lady didn’t introduced herself to me so that’s why I have to use the word lady, lady kept speaking over me, kept trying to explain things to me I already told her I understood, I told her to ask me whatever questions she needed to so I can answer those questions so she can give me an estimate price for my laptop, she wouldn’t let me speak and the lovely cherry on top to make the whole situation worst; she hung up on me so I will not be doing any type of business with them and when people ask me about this location, I will send them a different way because this location isn’t worth it. What an extremely poor experience for being my first time.
Every time I go, the people are super nice, helpful and great on pricing. I've purchased several things and pawned sever things and each time they've been nothing but a pleasure to do business with. The family that works there I love them to bits! They remember me when I come in and genuinely have a caring, non judgemental attitude.

I bought a nice midi patch bay / processor for my analog music production setup from this store. I got it for a great price as well. The store has a great selection of studio/audio equipment, guitars, retro video games, dvds, drones, and more! The owner bill is super helpful and fun to talk to. Top notch!
The shop was clean, organized and well stocked. The prices were spot on, and Bill was super friendly and helpful. Stopped in here to kill some time, and ended up emptying my pockets. Ha! Definitely worth a trip to check this place out!
Bill the manager is very personable and professional. I sold some scrap gold and the price was very fair and it was a great experience overall. I would recommend Uptown over some of the other local gold buyers. I will definitely do business here again.
