Every day on my way home from work, I am impressed with how the people that work here cross Silas Deane traffic with the precision and speed of the famous 8-bit arcade legend himself: Frogger. We all know the Deane is basically a four-lane asphalt river of doom, especially after 5 PM when it’s pitch black. If you want your car fixed by people with the reflexes and night vision of a jungle amphibian, look no further. Disclaimer: I've never been to this shop. Simply impressed with their amazing ability to cross traffic wearing all black. Frogger IRL world champs!

Today my car broke down at on I-91North in Rockyhill/Wethersfield area at 5pm. Miguel from Lamore service station came with tow truck within 20 minutes and towed my car to repair shop. Our driver was extremely friendly and professional. He was also extremely patient and positive as we were nervous about moving our chicken coop with lots of unknowns. He took the time, it wasn’t rushed and it was successfully delivered to our new home! Would recommend to anyone!

Stay away from using this company!!! My car was brought here and they released my car to the insurance without ever asking for my permission. When I told them that I never gave them permission to release the car; they simply said take it up with the insurance. This business is not trust worthy!! How can they release your car without even asking for permission? All my personal belongings were there and I was never given a chance to remove them.

My first time coming here and I just want to give Mike a huge shoutout. He worked with me on diagnosing my vehicle, recommended me several repairs, in order of most important to least, and was upfront with pricing. Mike seems super friendly, approachable and honest. I would not hesitate to recommend Lamore’s to others based on my interactions alone.

I had an excellent experience with Lamore’s - I had a flat tire on the side of the road this evening, and I called AAA through my Toyota Care; they came much earlier than expected. The driver, Josh, was super courteous, and an overall great person. I normally don’t write reviews, but I had to make an exception here because the service was excellent. Thank you guys!

I originally gave Lamore's Auto 1 star but has changed it to 4 stars. They did a great job because my car has stopped swaying after they have discovered an issue with shock (component has rusted away). Thanks Mike!!!

My car broke down in Wethersfield ct .I call triple AAA and the same time Wethersfield police call for the car to be towed the towing company Lamore’s Gulf Station and Towing pick up the call and Jay from Lamore’s came to towed my car Jay the Tow driver did an excellent job towing my car and even help me to park my car Jay went beyond and above, I will recommend Lamore’s Gulf Station and towing to family & friends.

Found myself needing a 100 mile tow last night and Dylan arrived very quickly to take care of it. He could'nt have been more pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend his service!

Awesome service. Just Had my newly purchased 05 town car towed from wallingford to windsor locks. They told me over the phone the driver would be there at 6pm. He was right on time. Got it to my house safe and sound and a really nice driver. Will be using again for sure!

Dylan was absolutely amazing! After placing a call for a tow he was at our car within 15 minutes. It was raining and we were from out of town. Dylan kindly suggested a good place to eat as we waited for our ride home. Great service with a smile!

Jason just picked up due to a flat we got in Manchester (we used AAA) and he was wonderful. He was friendly and courteous and the truck was very clean and warm! Thanks Jason!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The rudest customer service EVER comes from their towing staff. Not to mention, they charged an enormous amount of money to tow a car literally a half mile away. It was not our choice to call them for a tow, but since we were on a busy road when the car died, the police were involved and they called for us. They also robbed my dying father that was a loyal customer for years out of money, but that is a whole other story. I do not recommend them.

Amazing service! Just had my car towed. Not only did they show up on time and keep in constant communication but the driver was extremely nice! An all around excellent experience.

My son's car was towed home by this company on Friday. A key was left for them by a police officer as my son was in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. The car arrived home in one piece, but they could have just replaced the flat tire with the spare in the trunk. In addition, his backpack was stolen from the car at some point in the whole fiasco. I do not recommend.

Ladies beware. This place is terrible. Went to have air put in tires, and inquired about getting work then (aware of the issue, hoping for an inexpensive option, less that was originally quoted by another mechanic) instead they attempted to overcharge me. Stating that they would need to remove xyz and that alone can be upwards of 1500, before they could even look at the problem I inquired about. The original cost quoted by the other mechanic was maybe 350. Would not recommend.

One of the best mechanics in the Tri-State. If you get the chance definitely take your car to Lamore's. I had a horrible experience with another mechanic and was recommended to Lamore's. Mike and Jim and the whole staff are wonderful, they will work with you and explain any questions you have. They also will work with you no matter what situation you're in. I travel from NYC around the tri-state and I only take my car here. ????

We have brought 2 cars there in the year we have lived in town. Very happy with the work done on both cars, and the communication with regards to the issues that needed addressing. We will continue to use them for our repair needs

This is a great little stadium. Was there for Hartford City FC verse Kingston stockade. Not only is the venue top notch the Kingston fans were great too. My team got the win so they all went home disappointed but everyone was very cool to us. And we didn't make it easy.

Brought my car in to just figure out what’s wrong. I called them every 2 days and on the 6th day they said I could pick it up and they gave me an oil change. They didn’t even ask me if it was okay before doing it and they charged me 120 when I went to pick it up. They’re nice people but I wasn’t very happy about how things went with my car.

So very happy with the service received here. My car’s ball joint failed and I was left with a tire that basically fell off… I was able to have AAA tow it to them on a Sunday and my mid afternoon Monday all the repairs were complete. BIG stress relief. Would definitely recommend them to folks in the Wethersfield area ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️THEY ARE GREAT.

Lamore's Gulf is a full service station that has been servicing our cars for the past 20 yrs. The mechanics are very knowledgeable of all types of vehicles and explain what needs to be done to the customers. They work in a timely manner, always fairly priced and stand behind their work! The family owned business has been run on excellent customer service and integrity for years! I highly recommend, Lamores.

Had a problem that needed to be dealt with immediately. Everyone else around was a week or more out (let alone the multiple week timeline for a dealership). Got me in the next day, finished the work as expected, and communicated additional issues as well. The issues were resolved to my satisfaction at a fair price. Support local.

We had a flat tire on a rental car on the way home from vacation. Although they weren't able to fix the tire, they were very nice and accommodating. Even tried to find us a used tire so we didn't have to go the rest of the way on the donut. Would definitely recommend them

I was involved in accident and needed my new car towed first thing this morning to the repair shop. Driver arrives earlier than expected, which was perfect. He was courteous, professional and even took a look around the car to review the damage and pointed out something I had missed! Excellent service Thank you!

I had broken down on the highway and gave them a call for a tow. Estimated wait time was an hour because everyone was out on other calls, totally understandable. The tow truck was there just shy of an hour and was polite and efficient. I had the shop look at the car as well and it turned out to be something not worth fixing (close to $3,000 worth of repairs likely needed.) It was an old Honda accord that was on its way out anyway, so I decided to part ways with it. I had maybe around $180 in service/tow fees which Mike waived in exchange for the title to the car. I was satisfied since I knew I wouldn't get much more than that elsewhere for a car that wouldn't drive. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, patient, and upfront. They even took the plates off my car for me as I cleaned out my car. Thank you for making an unpleasant situation much easier!!
