It's hard to find affordable and good places to do bodywork whether it's personal or insurance paid. I have used MAB twice for person fixed on my F150 that were very extensive, but not too expensive. I got estimated, knew what I was up against, saved some money up and got repaired. I love how they order parts first, paint, etc before ever needing the car, then when they are ready to work were they won't have to stop, they have you bring it in and return it Shortly after. It's a professional outfit with great people working there.
I’ve had a car repaired by Mitchell Auto Body in the past and back then the work and overall experience was great. Not anymore. My vehicle was in for warrantee work this time, and after a few months the issue has returned. The real problem here in that they don’t seem to be willing to fix it. They won’t return phone calls and when I call them the person I “need to talk to” is very conveniently not available. This has been going on for months. When the original work was done they had my car for about 6 weeks! So it’s not like they were being rushed. At this point I’m convinced they didn’t do the repair in the way they were supposed to to begin with. Do yourself a favor. Avoid the Mitchell Auto Group altogether. They have gotten too big to care about individuals anymore.
The first time I did business with Mitchell auto body on the beginning of 2023, things didn't go very well. I provided an honest feedback to them and we discussed it later.
Last time I did business with them in July, things were totally different. They were very accurate with the estimate and the required time for the repair. Within one week Bill called me twice to give me update regarding the repair and the delivery of the auto. They turned the auto band new and cleaned it in a perfect way. I'm very satisfied and happy to do business with Mitchell auto body. Friendly people and listen well to their customers and willing to help.
I am a 20 year customer of Mitchell VW and I will NEVER bring my vehicle to their body shop again. Rude, unprofessional, condescending, and all around just terrible. This body shop is making me want to terminate a 20 year relationship with an otherwise reputable and wonderful business.
Side swiped from front door to rear fender. Some challenging dents in addition to paint. When Mitchell Auto Body was done, my car looked like new. We are very happy.
Had Mitchell auto body shop repaint my Mitchell Subaru Crosstrek recently under Subaru warranty. It took them much longer than projected to get it done but the finished paint job looks great, even better than the original factory paint.
Me: May I get a quote for services.
Lady: "We'd need to see the vehicle"
Me: "It's a 1 foot scratch that's not very deep. Can I get a range as to what these repairs typically cost?
Lady: "We don't know. You'd have to bring it in so we can see the damage."
Me: Would you be able to give me a idea? Is it $10,000? $50? You have no idea?
Lady: "Can I put you on hold?".
***Passes me to her boss
Me: "Hi, I'd like to get a quote for repairs for body work, can I get an idea of the costs for repairs".
Adam: "As has already been explained to you, you'd need to come in and show us the vehicle."
Me: "So no one has any idea what anything costs here?".
Adam: "We'd need to see the vehicle".

Took almost two weeks including repeated emails and call and unkept promises to respond to get an estimate for body damage to a new Subaru leased from their own auto group!
Second time getting my car fixed here. Excellent service, warranty is good for however long you own the vehicle. Staff is patient; they take the time out to explain everything for you, and they follow up in a timely fashion.
I had an amazing experience with Mitchell Auto Body! My car looked just like it did when it was brand new when they were finished. The workmanship was great and I can't say enough about how wonderful their customer service is.
From the minute Brian, the manager, held the door open late on a Friday for me to drop off to the minute I got my car back this was a fantastic experience. Obviously nobody wants to have to meet people at an auto body shop, but if you have to.. this is the place to do it. Everyone from the staff in the office to the technicians in back are friendly and highly trained and knowledgeable. Every time I called I was promptly and politely greeted, and every time I didnt I had detailed status updates in my voicemail/inbox. Mitchell auto body took a bad situation off my hands and gave me back overwhelming peace of mind. I own a 2005 Grand Cherokee and had these guys fix over $6,000 worth of damage to my vehicle. They did a phenomenal job and I would recommend everyone to these guys. Brian who I believe is the manager there is a very friendly person and easy to talk to. I can trust this shop with my car and the valuables I keep inside it. They warranty/guarantee all their work and return your car in a timely manor. They even buffed the whole car for me and I was amazed how well it came out. Thank you Mitchell for a Job Well Done :)
This is the best auto body shop I've ever been to! Brian K, asst. manager, who helped me, got my car back into drivable condition, so I wouldn't have to rent a car .He did the damage report with me, so I could by-pass some cosmetic only details. Brian also did comparison pricing on all the damaged parts.
Brian is totally polite, friendly, and customer oriented, a rarity in this business in my experience.
I recommend Mitchell Auto Body without reservation.
BTW, The parts/repair crew in Mitchell/ Canton is equally fabulous.
Doug and Adam were able to restore bumper damage on my Jetta faster and more seamlessly than I expected...even exceeded the insurance adjuster's estimates for time and cost. They handled almost all the claims process for me, and all I had to do was sign, and go. Professional and pleasant to work with!
