Never has purchasing a vehicle been such smooth and easy experience. Luke was knowledgeable and not at all pushy as I tried to decide whether or not I wanted the XC60 I had been eyeing. He was also incredibly patient although I currently struggle with conversations. All in all I would highly recommend this location if you’re interested in a vehicle. Everyone I met on their staff was polite, professional, and attentive. I look forward to coming back someday to buy my mother a car. The dealership, especially Pete and Alex were terrific. Couldn't have been better or more attentive and efficient. The only negative was being charged by Volvo for a rear cargo area draw screen. They called it "optional" which I think is not cool. Spending almost $70,000 for a car and then finding out after the fact that I needed to buy this piece of equipment which has never been "optional" on any car I 've ever purchased, including Volvo. Recently I purchased a new vehicle at Mitchell Volvo Auto Sales of Simsbury. After a negative experience at another Volvo dealership I approached the venture with caution and had a lot of questions. Albert was the salesman assigned to me. He answered all of my questions patiently, was knowledgeable and demonstrated integrity in his interactions with my husband and myself. We appreciated his down to earth approach and the wamth of other staff members in the company. The purchase of a new vehicle can be stressful, but not with this company. They have gained 2 more loyal customers!

Had many good experiences here over the years with service and recommended my parents buy a vehicle from them as I thought they were different from other dealers in the area. I should have known better. They bought a brand-new 2025 XC40 with all the warranty packages. In the first 1,000 miles, a 12V battery failure light came on and the car stopped driving. My mother was stranded in a Vermont snowstorm, with no help or recourse offered by Volvo beyond "get it towed to a mechanic." (Frankly, this is understandable considering it was the weekend, but it's how they responded after that made everything worse.) My parents got the vehicle to them today, and were given a loaner. The service department has not given them a timeframe on a fix or any information on what is wrong. Sales department has already got their commission so they don't care at this point, and we're stuck with service. I understand that sometimes things like this happen. However, when you lack any communication or empathy it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth especially this early on. My whole household owns Volvo cars, and I think once their lifetime is up it'll be time to switch to a new brand. It's a shame because my former S40 saved my life in a car accident. Really sad to have to write this review.

Albert and Josh were perfect in every step of the purchase! I had submitted an inquiry online about a pre-owned, hard-to-find v90 R-design before they even had a chance to detail it and take pictures! Understanding that I was coming from over 80mi away, Al was kind enough to take a deposit to ensure the car would not be sold before the following weekend, the earliest I could make it up for a test drive. Finally, he went the extra mile in sending me all service records I requested in detail, sending me videos and pics of the car before I made the initial trip, and responding to my outreach in a timely manner. Josh in finance was professional with every step of the purchase, especially showing patience when my bank decided to hold funds for an outside deposit. He also went the extra mile in replacing a missing cargo cover at no cost. Finally, Josh responded to all my requests for records promptly and showed patience aha care with all my requests. I plan on returning in the next few months for another purchase in 2026 and hope to deal with the same team!
