Mitchell Auto Group is breeching their rust through auto body contract with me despite having honored it multiple times previously, the last time in 2018. This time Mitchell Auto Group made me produce all 20nyear old original insurance claims & documents and copies of original Travelers insurance payment(s) even though I believe their intent was to avoid honoring their commitment from the outset. Today they are claiming that their last repair (there was at least one other) in 2018 was a "good will" gratis gesture. The original repair was in 2006. Who else wants to wager the judge will find their "generosity" claim amusing? To be fair, no dealer expects a car to be kept for 20 years but a contract is a contract and I have a lifetime rust through warranty! Today Samantha , the body shop general manager told to have my attorney call her and hung up...

Ive have several cars serviced over the past 20 years and they are very professional. They video tape the inspection service and provide a complete explanation of the service needed to be done and/or completed. The staff is friendly and the waiting area is comfortable and easy to work from( if needed). I feel secure knowing they give an honest evaluation concerning the saftey of my vehicles and projected costs to be aware of in the future. They also wash your vehicle even if its just an oil change. There is also an emission testing station close to the dealership so you can plan service and testing the same day . Very convenient

I always have a great experience at Mitchell. I have purchased three used vehicles, all were in tip-top shape & a fair price. Excellent customer service and attention-to-detail. I highly recommend this dealership.

Talked to Jessica on the phone about all the incentives that would apply on a certain vehicle. Drove 30 minutes to Simsbury to purchase vehicle and was told all the incentives did not apply. GRADE F

Do not do business with this dealership! I made a deal over the phone/email , trade was set, price and payment was set. I dealt with one person via email, sent all pictures and details of the problems with my trade. We agreed on a number. I took a day off, drove THREE AND A HALF HOURS and my salesperson wasn't there. So details were not passed on to the new sales rep. They offered me 3 grand less than agreed upon trade. I turned around and drove home , now I know why they had such bad reviews to begin with. Don't buy here.

Incredibly annoyed. Long time customer until they refused to honor my fathers military discount (which they usually do) because he was deployed and wasn’t present. Did not buy the car, will not be doing business with them again.

Although I had some difficulties dealing w/ the on-line sales rep, my in-person experience w/ Joe was outstanding. Because the car I desired was not available locally, my friend & I drove 2 1/2 hr. to purchase a replacement for my Volvo that had been totalled (fortunately, no one was hurt). We spent more than 3 hr. w/ Joe on a recent Sat. afternoon. He is not only personable, enthusiastic & knowledgeable but he has a great sense of humor. If you'd like to purchase a Volvo, I strongly recommend that you ask for Joe.

I had my VW Tiguan fixed here recently. Not only did they keep me updated they went above and beyond with fixing it. They perfected my perfect car!!! I would recommend the service department highly. Today it is so hard to find trustworthy people. I am just so happy. Thank you!!!

I can say this dealer is not the place where you want to buy anything from. I bought a 2015 ram 3500 and after they got the money from the bank they called me to let me i can't pick the vehicle because of a open recall and the parts will be in a few days. Few days later they told me there isn't any parts to fix the recall yet. I spoke to there GM and they said there working on getting a fix. Mean while i found out the vehicle was recalled 01/25/19 and I bought the truck on 03/11/19 never told me about this recall in till they got my money. After few weeks going back and forth they said there can reverse the loan. After a week of waiting on a fix ram still no fix and it take up to July to have the parts. I called the salesman Jeff told him that they had 48 hours to send a check to my bank which it was on Tuesday. On Wednesday evening the finance manage said he needs to talk to my bank call him in the morning. I called four times the next day and finely he called and spoke to the bank to pay back the loan. Today which Tuesday they loan was paid off but the short change the loan buy $146.00 which it's not about the money but they said it wasn't going to cost my a dime. But just like from the start they blamed everyone else for the screw up. I have worked at many dealership in my life i had never heard or seen thing before. This has caused issues and me money due to we needed that truck to move our horses and costed us over $2500.00. All and all there the worst dealer I have ever dealt with.

this dealership is particularly terrible. took them 8 days to respond to me via email about a car i was interested in. i even had car gurus contact them 4 seperate times during business hours for days without a response. i finally was alerted by car gurus not the dealer that the car had been sold. upon asking the dealer to stop contacting me because i have since made my purchase STEPHANIE GIROUARD decided it would be cute to send my information to local dealers in my area stating i was interested in a car that at no point in time i had ever inquired about. i have confirmed the email origination with one of the dealerships that was contacted. how unprofessional. will be contacting the bbb to make a formal complaint.

$574 for a secure location. This place had a Ford Fusion Energi for sale and I offered them $15,000 for the vehicle. Adrian said that the lowest they could go was $16,000. Adrian later came back and said that they would take $15,500. He asked if I would meet him in the middle and I was disinclined to acquiesce to his request. A few days passed and Adrian popped back up in my email saying that his boss was going crazy on this fusion and wanted to know if that I would accept a selling price of $15,000 for the car. I said I was interested in the car in the pass along the paperwork. Well wouldn't you know they jack up the price buy over $1,000 with bogus fees. So I lowered my offer to bring the car back down to what I said I would pay for it. Adrian got mad and said that we had an agreement and I was changing it. I told Adrian no you were intentionally hiding fees to make it look like the car was a better deal. Adrian also said he assumed that I would pay for the car plus the fees even though he said $15,000 as a selling price . Adrian said that everybody pays $574 to "process the information and keep it in a secure location." So when you deal with this dealership, and Adrian specifically, make sure that you negotiate down $574 because apparently they're keeping your information in a secure location and you're paying for it. It's no wonder this dealership has a 3-star rating. Maybe they keep all the good ones in their secure location.

Terrible dealership, beware of hidden fees, poor communication, and paperwork being done incorrectly. After we agreed to a price, we sat for 3 hours to meet with financial agent. He treated us like we were idiots and tried to add extra fees. This should have been the red flag to leave, but we stayed the course as we liked our salesman. Now that we have purchased the car, we have incorrect paperwork with registration and inspection. For the last week we have called each day trying to get it fixed. We are told we will receive a return call by end of day, which has not happened once. It makes me wonder what other things were done incorrectly or lied to us about.

Absolutely worst dealership in the area. They need to visit Hoffman's dealerships to see how customers should be treated. Also, after contacting Mr. Mitchell, never had the courtesy of a reply of any type.

We dealt with Jeff Bakersville sales rep. Very professional and provided great customer service. He did not try talk us into any other vehicle other than the one we We purchased on a Tuesday and by Wed afternoon we were able to pick the truck up and they got the registry for us and had MA plates on it ready to drive on Wed. We first were helped by Stuart who helped locate the truck. We also were happy with the finance manager Dominic, very professional great sense of humor. Nice place to buy your truck.

The Volvo service department goes above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. The knowledge and skill level of Walter is extraordinary. You can't get a better guy to diagnose and fix your Volvo. Also, Matt in parts is a gem and so pleasureable to work with. His customer service is impeccable. Thank you Mitchell for having such wonderful employees!

I want to share this really bad experience with this dealership we went for a test drive and that was not the problem. Actually went pretty smoothly with pick the car and we're happy to proceed it's important to mention that we did get an appraisal on our car from 2 other Volkswagen dealership and they both came back with the same number of $9,500 however after few hours of negotiating with the dealership we agreed on their price which was exactly where the other two dealerships where but they quoted us $2,000 less for ours than anybody else at the same time they also said they never lose the deal to one of their competitors when I mentioned that one of their competitors was the one who gave us the quote on our car they said why are we bothering them with them if we can get that from the other dealership and we should go elsewhere I was quite in shock to hear a dealership sending us away to somebody else their own competitor so we will not be buying a car from them very dishonest to say at least and I strongly recommend not dealing with these people as there are many other dealerships out there and much more honorable and are not all about Penny crunching

Where can one even begin with this overstaffed, yet underserviced, black hole? I went in to have a very straightforward procedure done, and left frustrated and without having my automobile serviced. The man behind the counter with whom I had the displeasure of sharing air with managed to ignore everything I told him, all the while maintaining a deplorable disposition. I was told that I would have an appointment, first thing in the morning and only after waiting for several hours was I informed that I was possibly the 900th person on the list and it was unlikely that anything would get done that day and that they don't do "appointments". I am not an imbecile, so for me to feel as though there was a complete breakdown in communication between the representative and myself says a lot. I work with customers every day with complex needs and understand how difficult some people can be, yet I not only felt as though a sub-par level of service was provided to me, but that I was also totally disrespected despite my efforts to be agreeable with the man. The representative decided that I was not worth his time from the beginning and treated me so. This is place for you if you get off on being treated poorly, do not value your time in the least, and enjoy watching multiple overweight and air-headed jackasses stand around. In those respects, this dealership has it all!

The service department is with whom I have dealt with. Frankly, they are a bunch of arrogant crooks. It was once an honest and helpful experience. Sadly, it no longer is.
