Kensington Auto in Berlin has absolutely earned all five stars! My Chevy Tahoe was continuously breaking down, and as our main family vehicle, it was so stressful. They knew how important it was for me to have a safe, reliable car to drive my kids around, and they were determined to figure out the real issue. Even after having to get it towed back to the shop three different times, they never gave up, never brushed me off, and kept working until they fully solved the problem. Their patience, persistence, and genuine care meant everything. We feel so blessed and incredibly grateful to have it fixed, especially right before the holidays. I met John at a costume party and I don't think he really cosplayed a ghost the right way as alot of people got angry. Other than that he's a horrible mechanic, bro tried to sell me blinker fluid.

I've been coming to Kensington Auto for a number of years. They provide excellent, efficient, and timely service in every visit. They freely offer advice and are happy to make a referral if I needed something that they were unable to provide (i.e. autobody work). The emissions testing is fast! You barely sit down and they are done with your vehicle. They are conveniently located, reasonably priced and always friendly and helpful. I trust them completely for my vehicles.

Kensington auto has been my place to go for repairs for over 20 years. I put my trust in them and they always take care of all my vehicles. From oil changes to tires they do it all.

Extremely rude. Went in for an emissions test but felt a rattling on my way in. I explained the issue and asked if they could take a look at it. I overheard the guy in the back room, possibly the manager, say “make sure she knows she has to pay. It’s not a freebie.” I was sitting right there. I could hear. Shortly after, I remembered my car might still be under warranty. I mentioned it to that same guy and that I might want to just bring it into my dealer if that’s okay. He rolled his eyes and said he thinks they already have it on the lift. Then he said “actually they’re test driving it now, they’ll be back shortly.” And he sat back down. He let them continue to work on my car. Didn’t say anything to them or to me. I called my dealer up, made an appointment and then told the front desk I wanted my car back please. The other guy was nice and said that was fine. As I was paying the guy from the back room spoke up again asking where I got my car and if I bought it used. He was saying that these issues probably existed when they sold the car to me. I’m 100% positive the car was fine and that I bent my rim this morning when I got stuck on some ice. I may be a woman, but I am not dumb. Won’t be going back here. So unnecessarily rude and unacceptable to speak to customers like that.

Took my vehicle here for the first time to get an oil change. Had an issue with the filter replacement afterwards and they saw me right away to fix the problem. Then the same warning came on my dash...I brought it back hoping for the best. Turns out rodents chewed through some of my wiring! They replaced the damaged wires free of charge. I'm grateful to them for that. I'll definitely keep bringing my vehicle here for future servicing. Thank you, Kensington Auto!!

Today I came in for an oil change/ air filter and had my battery checked out because it was giving me problems at times starting. I came in at 1:30 pm for an appointment and waited till my car was ready till after 4pm. I was appalled by the charge of $194.23. As I reviewed my bill I noticed a $46.39 charge to inspect my battery. I reentered the shop to address this with Justin. I asked him don’t part stores do this for free? This is ludicrous. I have been a customer for decades and have recommended folks to your service over the years. I regret to inform you that I will be finding a new service garage and will no longer have good things to say about the service at your facility. Happy Thanksgiving ?

I used to work on my vehicles before a back injury, so I have an idea of what repairs should cost. The work was done on time and on target. We will definitely use them again, and we love the follow up on the repairs.

Lenny and Justin have performed a number of repairs for us on our pickup truck and car. They are always professional, accommodating, and we have never had to take a vehicle back for the same issue after it has been repaired. It is a pleasure to have this level of service available in a local repair shop.

After replacing my back brakes at home, there was a problem bleeding the breaks. I figured the brake line needed to be replaced. I took my Honda to Kensington Auto for the first time. I was quoted 1200.00 for back breaks, rotors and calipers. I was told one of the brand new back brakes fell off. Two days later I get a call that they are having problems bleeding the brakes; which was why I originally brought the car to the shop. They also said I needed an alignment and some sensor because the brake line ran dry. Another $400.00 was added to my original quote. I was told they couldn't align the car, but still charged for it. It sucked to pay $1800.00 for all the work to get back brakes to work and the car still sounded like the brakes were grinding. I soon after had a small accident and brought my car into another shop for repairs and was told I only had one brand new caliper and had a bent frame. (Which is why the alignment was not working) The mechanic told me I was over charged for the work at Kensington. I am not bringing my car back there ever. Sad that there are still garages that take advantage of women, who bring their cars into a shop alone.

Very pleased with the service at Kensington Auto. The technicians were professional and courteous. They were honest regarding what work needed to be done on my vehicle, which I appreciate. Would recommend....this was my first visit, and I plan on returning when necessary...

I know he and his staff works hard to fix vehicles in a timely manner, while striving to fix it right the first time. He does not engage in scare tactics but will try to educate you as to the situation so you can make an informed decision regarding your vehicle's repair needs. He stands behind the work his shop does and is an active member in the community. The shop is very well equipped, and he keeps his staff up to date on the latest technologies in the automotive world. I have sent a lot of people to this shop (including family & friends) and haven't had anyone come back to me to complain. The prices may seem a little high at times, but you get what you pay for in this world... They do good work and Lenny stands behind it 100%... All part of being Berlin’s number 1 repair center. Highly recommend. I brought my vehicle down there today because I was hearing a grinding noise when I accelerated and turned right. Lenny quickly took the time to jump into my vehicle and take it for a test drive so he can hear the noise for himself. They then put my vehicle up on the lift and within 5min was able to spot the issue and repair it. They just earned ALL my future business.

My car went in for a Spring Check-up and oil change before a weekend trip to The Cape. Justin was kind enough to get me in when they had a tight schedule. When I went in to pick up the car, he noted that one of my tires needed replacement ASAP. I was able to replace the tire before my trip. Thank you Justin. I will definitely return to Kensington Auto for future work on any of my family’s cars.

My car window wouldn't shut and we were expecting storms. Called the shop and they completely understood the urgency and got me in at 1pm. They called their parts shop and had them drive the part right away. A few hours later, my car was disinfected with a fresh clean window and a new part. Nice group of guys, very honest and personable.

Their work is done professionally and they stand behind what they do. I had a great experience when Kensington Auto Service evaluated my vehicle. They performed the work on time and provided a detailed explanation of their work. They were very polite and professional. i would recommend them to anyone interested in servicing their vehicle.

Was able to get my car in quickly to have a major oil leak fixed, once it was fixed they had me come in a few days later to confirm all the leaks were taken care of, unfortunately there were 2 other minor leaks that had not been seen initially due to the undercarriage being covered in oil. I spoke with the owner about the other leaks and he was very honest and advised me on which leak is the most important to fix at this time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend having your car serviced here!

We have been bringing all of our cars to Kensington Auto for at least the past decade. And I have to say that this is a shop you can trust. We brought our car in last week for some service and got a call this morning that they accidently over charged us, and wanted to give us a refund. I am happy to say they now have customers for life!

Lenny and his staff have always given prompt courteous service at very reasonable price. I was servicing my Toyota at the the dealership but found their prices going through the roof. I went to them to price replacing the cars catalytic converter. They did a great job at 1/3 the price that I was being quoted from Toyota. From that time I have had Kensington Auto Services do all the work on my car.

Kensington Auto has ALWAYS done an exceptional job with all of my auto repairs. I have never been pressured into doing any unnecessary repairs. The techs and employees are all friendly and I feel comfortable leaving my car with them knowing the job will be done right the first time and at competitive prices.
