We purchased a vehicle from this establishment approximately three weeks ago. We were pleased to secure a car for our daughter. The entire process took about four hours to complete, which was somewhat inconvenient. Upon inspection by our mechanic, the car was found to have several issues. There are oil leaks, the camera is not functional, one of the front lights is out, and the key does not work. We had to engage a locksmith to create a new key for us. Additionally, the rear window tint is excessively dark, significantly impairing visibility. Frankly, we feel there was a lack of transparency. We were assured that they do not sell problematic vehicles, but this car has presented significant challenges. It appears that approximately $5,000 in repairs will be necessary.
I had a great experience at West Coast Auto Auction. The whole process was smooth and straightforward, no games. The girls in the office were especially lovely — super helpful, patient, and just made everything easy. That kind of service goes a long way. I’ll definitely be back.
It's OK I guess, the entry is free but we can't take photos or videos in the property. I do not recommend doing the registration with them, it takes three months to get the registration and I have heard from others that their temporary plates have expired and they haven't received anything yet. Some brands I have seen here are Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Audi, BMW, Chevy, Ford, Mercedes Benz, Hyundai, 1 or 2 porsche's here and there, some tesla's as well. They also have salesmen after auction hours to try to sell u a car, I recommend coming in first after auction hours and take a look at the car's in detail before attending the actual auction. I have seen some 2024 models as well, if you are looking for a newer car. YES, I have seen some clapped out cars as well but very rare tho.
Stay far away from this place unless you want to get fleeced. This is a want to be dealership masquerading as an auction. The prices here are crazy because you might as well just go to a used car lot and get a warranty that is better than what they would offer you.
The process isn't so bad and cars are selling for cheap. The security guard at the door is an interesting man. He talks down on a lot of people and is rude for no reason. I wouldn't recommend getting registration from them just go to the DMV its easier also make sure you take extra money for fees and taxes. I bought a 2018 Dodge Durango. Found out 2 months later that the head gaskets are going out. Leaking a lot of oil. Cars are sold As-Is so nothing can be done. The guys on the lot are nice and the ladies inside as well. It was my first time and possibly my last time. Just be prepared for any extra expenses.
Bought a car from here, it took 3 months to get my title. Come to find out the transmission was failing. Overpriced auction tbh. Everyone is rude and my state attorney office is finally looking into them after getting together with some other buyers who got fooled. Please please don’t buy from here, the owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. No matter how many fake 5 stars they receive you as a consumer will definitely get a bad car or treatment. Go elsewhere!!!
I am very thankful to the manager Gregorio that helped me with the issue I was having with my vehicle . Please if you are faced with an inconvenience talk to management before commenting or given a bad rating . I did the mistake of rating them low , but I was able to talk to them after all and made it better and got the help I needed from them .. Thank you Westcoast Auto Auction
First time here but since we got to the entrance we were friendly greated and their customer service was very good. They have great choices if you are looking on to buying a car.
I just want to say only One thing. I know that their are some bad reviews on this business. And when I saw this as I was driving out there this Saturday that just past on 6-14-25 I was nervous thinking of what I had just read. But I asked God to please ... please help me to help me get a good car. And for me to have a good experience. And honestly the experience that I had was so nice so pleasant. Ai love my little car. It is what ai was hoping for. And this people are so nice and professional. really was impressed. Sincerely. Thank you Jesus !! Just bought my second car here with them! Great experience just like my first one! The office staff it’s super friendly and the guys outside also explain to me things i didn’t understand about cars, definitely recommend of your looking for your first car or just to upgrade your car! Plenty of options and also they gave me the smog check and I did all the DMV paperwork with them!
Guys these cars are the reject cars from manheim that barely make it across the block, they all are rolled back mile, dmv fees owed, structural damage, or air bag deployed cars. 90% of them they’ve painted on the side of the auction 3 days before leading up to the auction day. When I was young and dumb I’d buy cars from here thinking they were good and was going to make money.

2006 suburban transmission went out after a week.
Do not take your hard earned money to this place you will have nothing but problems.
I’ve seen people go there with $5000 needing a car and right after purchasing theyre across the street car getting hooked up to a tow truck.
Not an auction no more
They tend to say they are repo cars or etc but they try to sell like a dealership not an auction no more if they respond with “we value the car base on the value or Kelly blue book or other price website.. don’t call it an auction cause it doesn’t operate like an auction but a dealership.

I should have read the reviews before buying the car. Before purchasing the car, I asked the guy about the rear view mirror ($200 rear mirror)He said he had ordered it and it didn't get there on time. He said “provide me with your phone # and once it comes in I will call you.” I have been calling and calling and no answer from Salvador. 2 weeks passed by and nothing. Obviously, I am not going back. In reading the reviews before, ppl say about the scanner code machine. The guy called me the next day thinking he left the machine in the car I bought and now it has me thinking what kind of scammers they are! BTW, I usually never post anything but this got me really upset! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!
In your response you say I didn’t give my number: get your facts together… I gave the number to one of the girls and she wrote it down as aside from that I called him that moment so Salvador’s number would be registered on my phone. He was also quick to call me the next day looking for the scanner. How can you say I didn’t give the number. Also, one of the other guys had said the mirror was on its way it just didn’t get there on time. Whom ever is writing back on the reviews - you don’t know!
Bought a car from them they said price was negotiable but decline my offer and I was the only offer go figure anyways still bought the car ended up being a pos spent like 3 grand trying to keep it alive just for it to fail less than a year later
So 7 grand loss from the car plus 3 maintenance
And if it’s a public auction why do they have set prices online
1st car - 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid 101000 miles (runs great still) paid 4000 & extra 1600$ registration. & 1600 fix
2nd car - 2016 Nissan Sentra In 2020,
116000 miles paid 5000, registration current, transmission went out in 2023.
3rd car- 2017 ford fussion 80000 miles
Paid 8000, registration was 1200, car had been in an accident with major frame replacement (not on car fax but the ford dealer told me and showed me) car needed maintenance abt 3months later.
— the first car I got was the best time with them. After that they have been selling deceptively, bidding up cars, & disgustingly manipulating ppl into buying cars. The experience at the auction wasn’t bad tho.
Long time listener, first time caller. this was my first time here. Upon arrival I saw quite a bit of cars which I was excited for. I walked around and I saw one specific car that caught my eye, so I started looking at it. As soon as they noticed my interest in one specific car they came and told me the price and said it was negotiable. I open the doors I looked in the interior. The interior looked well upon looking under the car. There was a lot of rust under the car that pushed me away from the car a bit. The gentleman brought me the keys to start so , I did. Upon starting it, I heard a noise coming from somewhere in the engine bay not sure where. Gentlemen states “it’s just a pulley. It’s fine. Nothing wrong with it”. He gave me a price and said “the price is negotiable, if you wanted to make an offer I will bring the offer to my boss and let him decide if he will accept your offer”. I gave him an offer and instead of walking over to his boss like he said he automatically said no. OK bye Felicia. if you come here please be aware, look at every single inch of the vehicle not just the inside of the car and how nice it looks. Make sure you have somebody that can notice where all the oil leaks are where all the rust spots are and all common problems.
I recently purchased a car and was thoroughly disappointed with the entire process, particularly due to the staff's rudeness and misleading information regarding mileage. To make matters worse, I witnessed them being rude to my dad, who has been a customer and has purchased over five cars from this place. It was disheartening to see how poorly they treated someone who has been a consistent supporter of their business.
When I inquired about the mileage of the vehicle I was interested in, the information provided was unclear and misleading. I later discovered that the actual mileage was far higher than what had been initially advertised. It’s incredibly frustrating to invest in a significant purchase only to be treated poorly and misled. I expected transparency and respect throughout the buying process, especially when making such an important decision. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism from the staff overshadowed any excitement I had about my new car.
I brought a car in May. The car then gave me problem, I had to change the tires, brakes, AC not counting that it was "clean title" but the air bag have been used previously. As a student whose going to college I don't recommend going here I have to pay more than I was expecting.
Hello, I don’t recommend this spot (they screwed me twice, I guess it’s my fault for giving them a second chance). 1st problem is that I purchased a vehicle “Clean Title” when I received the title via mail from the “DMV” it was marked as salvage (they offered me what I believe ($200-300 back) I was cool with with but recently about 3 months ago , I decided to give em a 2nd chance which lead me to purchase 2 more vehicles from them (The 1st vehicle got Check engine light and a the ABS light on THE VERY NEXT DAY! 🤣) I believe they work on the cars to try to make em seem better but they Mickey Mouse everything (tape on the sunroof so water wouldn’t come in😂) either way the 2nd car I got told it was clean and everything but then turned out the air bags had been deployed (again during auction they have a personal driver moving the car but I believe they erase the dash lights before because same thing my air bags notification showed up that same day as soon as I arrived home I was checking out the car and when I turned it on that’s when those Christmas lights came on 😂) they do offer an additional option to pay if you don’t like the car (but it can’t be because of mechanical issues/failure ) but I contacted them (via TXT MSG) and never heard from them again , just be careful and really really try to check out the cars if you go , also theres a guy (during the auction) thats tries to make you do a 5 Star Review during the whole auction kinda of annoying and why make a lot of people rate it during the auction if they haven’t purchased a vehicle 😂
Update to your response: yes I’m aware that I could buy a 0 mile car of the lot but yet again I don’t think a Title can be confused or misunderstood when a blank rectangle states it’s a “Clean Title” and one that has the wording “SALVAGE” well it’s a salvage car 😅 , but yes mechanical issues do appear even on 0 miles cars hence why I stated “just be careful and really really try to check the cars out” also can buyers bring in their own scanners ? To check for any codes 🤔 and the Mickey Mouse repairs don’t cut it either 😭, either way no worries like I mentioned MY FAULT for trusting your business , but again that 5 star review DUDE IS basically begging the buyers to give you guys 5 stars even before making a purchase (I ain’t no Albert Einstein) but how in the world can you rate something without even purchasing or owning a vehicle from there 💀
I bought my car from there 3 years ago and got an awesome deal. She was a good car and all I had to do when I first purchased her was replace the tires and the windshield wipers nothing more. She ran really good until I had some jerk run a red light and t-bone me and unfortunately she was totaled out but I loved that car and I still drove her after I was t-boned. I plan on going back I had no complaints. I even took a test drive and she was good to me. Unfortunately I had to say RIP to Goldie Honda I'll miss her. But I'll get a new ride and I'm sure I'll love it too.
I feel very disappointed. I bought a 2007 ford edge for 4,500 175,000 miles I had it for a few months and I already need to put another engine in now I'm walking to take my kids to school even when it rains because I used all the money I saved on this car I wish this place would trade my car for one that worked I don't even care what it would look like.
me and my family came here on a saturday around 2:40pm looking to purchase a family car since we now have our two month old son. we were choosing between two cars but ended up going with a 2009 chevy impala. on the paper that was on the car it was mentioned it had been a 2010 & lower mileage. when we came up to the desk to purchase it they barely told us it was a year older (2009) and it had about 20,000 more miles than what the paper mentioned. after being there for quite some time we decided to take the chance at grabbing it. there's a $500 deposit. after paying the deposit you wait in line to pay the rest of the vehicle cost and if you want all the stuff regarding the dmv. we were waiting outside all the way up to 8:20pm the process is very slow so i suggest you go and get yourself something to drink and eat before coming. please keep in mind they do not let you test drive the vehicle. so if you see a car with a reasonable price you should remember it's probably for a reason. we had several fixings that needed to be done to repair the car we had. that put $2,000+ in repairs that we had to pay out of pocket because the car was not in safe circumstances to continue running especially with our little one. at the end of the day this place is just about making their sales. they do not have the heart to tell you the truth on what's up with the car, because guaranteed if they were to tell the buyer everything that's wrong with the car most would never even get purchased. even if we had token the vehicle back the company still takes 10% of the cars worth and keeps it for "re stocking fee". majority of the employees that were working were waiting around in the vehicles and drinking large counts of beer. also to mention when we opened up the trunk to put our babies stroller inside it reeked of beer. one employee who took our vehicle out for us had left his edibles in the car as well. also we do know they were his because when we first looked in the car nothing but an empty cup was in the front and after he got out the car from getting us the keys he then left his item. unfortunately i have to give one star as part of the review but if i could i would give 0 stars.
Purchased on car last Saturday for a great price. the car has a dead battery 2 days later, I text them and them told me to bring it in and have me a new battery free of charge. Overall very nice people, easy to work with and good selection of vehicles.
Highly disappointed wanted to give a 5 star review but I WARN anyone who considers to buying from this auction I over paid $5,500 on 06/06/23 for a 2014 Chevy Cruze that started smoking not even 2 days after buying I contacted the Owner or manager Greg immediately he promised to fix the problem which was the engine I towed the car twice up there more than 30 miles and til this day I don’t have a RUNNING CAR, SELLING LEMONS AND SAYING THEY ARE FIXING PROBLEM BUT CREATES MORE PROBLEMS. My opinion feels like sabotage we come to these places and still pay almost car value or more for it not to run correctly or at all. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED ☹️ ps they are avoiding my calls now.
Stay away from this place! The owners of the cars are bidding for their cars to raise the prices. The guy in the picture was selling me a car before the auction. He said he owns the place and he is in charge of the prices. He and his helper to translate in Spanish went back and forth negotiating me the price. (They didn’t know I understand 100% Spanish even I am white!) But since we could not agree on the price, I did not buy the car and the car was put to auction. I saw this guy bidding for the same car to raise the price. When nobody bids, they said its gonna be for next auction. I came back the next auction and the guy is still bidding at the same car. I took a video this time and I will file a formal complaint to the dmv. What they are doing is illegal. They are fooling the people.
I didn't like this auto action place because they use Instagram and offer up to advertise their cars with a price and when you get there, the cars they priced at 4,000 dollars on offer up and Instagram is priced like at 7,000 dollars in person maybe 8,000 dollars. I hate how they used social media to falsely advertise their cars so they can lure in people from different counties. Pretty disappointing, if you ask me about my experience about going there. However, they do have some decent cars for decent prices when they bidding...
I had bought a Volkswagen and got to meet the owner a few months ago. I never had a problem with my car until 2 weeks ago. My car just died on me while I was driving it and couldn't get it to start, so I called the owner and he had his driver come and pick up my car , no problem and gave me a loaner car to driver during the meantime my car got repaired. After several days I got my car back and it drives great! I am so happy with my car. Greg is awesome!! I trust him and if something goes wrong, he will help you, like he did me. The people were nice and friendly and what else can you ask for? Great people, great service, great prices!!
Price was good! Car was good! Service… not so much. I purchase a 335i from here. I paid for everything including registration.
They claim to have titles on sight but they told me mine had to be shipped… no problem! 1 hour after I leave they call me saying I still owe $106 for registration when I had already paid registration. Then the manager calls back and says I owe $156 now! 3 weeks pass and I start to call and message them! They forwarded almost every call and completely ducked and dodged me! I messaged them multiple times asking just for an simple update on the title and I get no response! Then I threaten them with a lawyer. And little do you know they respond within 2 MINUTES! they are refusing to send my car title they claimed to put a hold on it at the dmv saying that I have to pay them the $156 for the registration that I had already paid and in my name! Moral of this story is if you want to get ignored and more than likely never see your car title then go to west coast auto auction! But if you want better experience (customer service) I highly suggest you find someone else. They said I was rude when I only asked them where my title was at. Of course I’m frustrated cause they are refusing to send me my title. I highly recommend you find somewhere else to shop. And if your in a similar situation with these people GET A LAWYER!!!
